Hey Ludek thanks for visiting and i really appreciate the lovely comments esp about the singing as that makes me most nervous!! This is definitely one of the best tutorials I have seen so far. You are making my purchasing decision easier but I have one question. Do you think this groovebox would be a good tool for cinematic music productions??
It definitely has plenty of soundscape fx and sounds in the library and good choice of fx. Generally the sounds are excellent for any style but make sure you have plenty of se cards for storage and you can make pretty lengthy tracks too...I find it ultra creative but especially for ease of songwriting ... hope that helps!

I notice you have the Dubler2 and the verselabMV1. Dubler2 now can calibrate with other sound interface, and there is already a calibration for the MV1 module for the Dubler2. Have you played with that and any other secrets you discover using dubler2 with the MV-1?

If I understood correctly in case you want to use the MV-1 connected to a battery pack or USB, using a condenser mic would be a limitation and not possible as you wouldn't have phantom power... would you suggest so to just get a dynamic mic that can be used either when connected to DC power or USB too?
Sorry late reply but yes can really only use a dynamic mic with it that way, back with new content today after a break but thanks for the comment and hope I finally answered the question! Did I get an MV1? :)
I have had mine for a month I got to vocal for a trial run didnt use the headphones the mix came through My Question can you edit after you have sang it
Fab! Nice track. Just wondering, I know the MV has 6 mins stereo or 12 mins mono sampling time. So presumably if you bounce instrument tracks together you would be creating an audio track which would eat into this sampling time? So there would be less time for vocals?
hi and thanks for lovely comment :) No it wouldn't eat in to vox times. Samples is a separate feature I need to put in another vid (sooo many features!!) Yes, you can bounce tracks and re-sample though that's half the fun! Also I've yet to fill an 8 Gig SD card even though I've done 6 tracks and loads vocals so far! You can also back-up in storage mode, more on that too in next vid. :)
@@stellarrubio Oh brilliant! Thanks for digging into the detail. Can't wait for the next vid! :)
Clearly talented as both a performer and a producer I really enjoyed this video though if I might offer a small critique, the video edit (the cut) didn’t quite match the high standard (smoothness) of the performance.
Hi This morning I re-checked my new sd card that i formatted in the mv and found things missing from original got that OK I have only had my Mv for less than a week. I put the SZD in the sound folder. When i pull them up I cant preview them. Im gonna follow you video to see how it goes
Yes you definitely can! That's its purpose that u won't need a dAW so you can make a whole song without! Sorry late reply was editing my new video...up today :)
Hello Estelle I would be interested in whether only the Roland mv1 was used for the vocals or other hardware, well microphone is clear. If it doesn't sound really nice, I definitely think it's pure goose bumps! And if so, which hardware do you use for it ??? I would be very happy to receive a small list. Have a good day, health and a long life !!! Stefan !!! sorry for my Englisch !!!
Q. if you change the song arrangement do you lose your vocal takes? Are they still on the vocal tale pool on the pads, but just need re assigning to new/edited parts of the song?
No you don't lose the Vox takes, you can re-arrange the song and vox parts as much as you like and very easily. Great for remixes, extended mixes etc. Will be doing another vid soon on arranging vox / mixes / bouncing etc. :)
@@stellarrubio Hey, ok kool thanks. I actually just received the Verselab this week. I'm still trying to get used to it tho...The workflow feels kinda awkward to me so I'm trying to get familiar.

i really love the fact that its includ vocal part, xlr input, vocal effect. A shame the screen really small and not permit to have sample's wave form in order to edit them quickly... Also it's usefullness is questionable for someone working at home. but maybe it's cool to be a lil daw / computer less to make easier for us to focus on music and not other stuff like ... youtube for example....lol Thx for your vidéo, it's cool to see, pleasant and instructive.

Clearly talented as both a performer and a producer I really enjoyed this video though if I might offer a small critique, the video edit (the cut) didn’t quite match the high standard (smoothness) of the performance.
aha yes I love producing and performing but not editing so much...prob need a helper! Thanks for tuning in tho :)
@@stellarrubio I think you need an editing minion 😂 Very good overall though 👍
Hi This morning I re-checked my new sd card that i formatted in the mv and found things missing from original got that OK I have only had my Mv for less than a week. I put the SZD in the sound folder. When i pull them up I cant preview them. Im gonna follow you video to see how it goes
Hi Mam. Can I ask u a question? Can i make full recording and importing song on the verse lab w/o daw? Thanks
Yes you definitely can! That's its purpose that u won't need a dAW so you can make a whole song without! Sorry late reply was editing my new video...up today :)
What do you use all those racks on your desk for? Is that for your vocal chain?
ah yes for vox and also running mixes through too :)
This looks fab.....I'm no techie but I understand it! You're a great musician and Mentor.......
😍

Q. if you change the song arrangement do you lose your vocal takes?
Are they still on the vocal tale pool on the pads, but just need re assigning to new/edited parts of the song?
No you don't lose the Vox takes, you can re-arrange the song and vox parts as much as you like and very easily. Great for remixes, extended mixes etc. Will be doing another vid soon on arranging vox / mixes / bouncing etc. :)
@@stellarrubio excellent news, thank you just waiting for the mv-1 to come into stock in UK
The section part us the most confusing part can you do a detailed section to song demo.
my first drummachine was the roland 404 lol
Would u replace ur Logic n Mac ? For this workflow
Roland’s equivalent to colour by numbers. Still, with your talent they could sell the Roland D-Beam Pogo Stick ;-)
hehe :) Made me smile comment, new video up if you want to see more that it does :)
Again the MV-1 is a very versatile and nice machine...but it's not as beautiful as the reviewer...😊💯
Oh thankyou! Very kind and yes it's super versatile-good point!! 😊🙏🏽
who needs this cheesy Analog Rytm mockup?
I found it I was not hitting enter when i pulled up a drum or snare patch
Hey, wens the next MV video Estelle????
Thanks for ass wking sorry about delay but should be up this weekend :)
@@stellarrubio Hey, ok kool thanks. I actually just received the Verselab this week. I'm still trying to get used to it tho...The workflow feels kinda awkward to me so I'm trying to get familiar.
👍🏽
😊🙏🏽🎼❤️
Needs more vocals tracks .
has 16+ More if you include sampling, just added a new video about vocal tracks too :)
appmusic tutorials Herse some great tutorials
thanks so much for the feedback :) New vid/song up today also :)
To be fair the vocal tuning sounds like a mouth wash session, very gurgling and I sense you didn’t need to use it in the first place x
hehe made me smile...I probably added a bit too much but it can be turned down or off if needed, sweet saying i might not need but this stuff is industry standard these days!! :)
Less talk more walk.
I can make barn yard noises that’s it
i really love the fact that its includ vocal part, xlr input, vocal effect.
A shame the screen really small and not permit to have sample's wave form in order to edit them quickly...
Also it's usefullness is questionable for someone working at home.
but maybe it's cool to be a lil daw / computer less to make easier for us to focus on music and not other stuff like ... youtube for example....lol
Thx for your vidéo, it's cool to see, pleasant and instructive.
