    Hey Mark, I was just wondering why my DEF Fluid light has turned red? It says 289Km left until no start. But I filled both the tanks up with DEF fluid at the top. Also my BMW is a 2009 X5 35d. I bought a Motomaster diesel exhaust fluid 2 pack and topped it off with that from Canadian Tire. Almost took me the whole 2 bottles 9.36Liters each. And before I used to get my DEF fluid from BMW but thought I would try out a Canadian tire bottle because of the heavy snow in my city and making it harder to go to the dealer? Now the light is still on even after driving for 10-20 minutes and the KM's keep going down. Any suggestions?

    the one think i really like in the m2 is the bodykit, both cars are great, but the TTRS its just like and TT or TTS with vitamins, you can take a regular TT slap some wheels spoiler and bumper kit and you have the same look as a TTRS, the m2 on the other hand is distinguished from its series 2 brothers with a very sexy wide rear and front arches, audi should develop a bodykit for the TTRS in the same way, to make it disctinct from all other TT's

    Weight, so youre telling me the Audi weights less despite having AWD & has a lambo exhaust note, that sounds like a winner to me. But, I still don't like it's exterior hairdresser bubble styling. I see quite a few of the M2s in my area & they're beautiful.

    • @ECPP
      @ECPP  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I also could not believe it but the TTRS is a lightweight and beats the m2 comp by several hundred pounds. What was even more surprising to me was the m4 is slightly less that the m2

    the reason I purchased an M2C (as 2nd car in the stable) is: size, power, rwd and usability (4 seats and a real trunk). Just ended break in period and could not be happier of my choice. I think also M2C is less flashy compared to most alternatives such as the TTRS. Had some Audi in the past and never regretted though.

    I had forgotten how hefty the M2 is; thanks for reminding. Def. rather absurd when one factors-in the lighter Audi's AWD and ditto for the fact that it gets better highway fuel mileage, a very respectable 29 mile/US gal. I love them both but one decisive factor has got to be the M2's available 6MT -- for those who prefer to shift manually the TT-RS is a non-starter.

    • @ECPP
      @ECPP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea the manual discussion is real and relevant. I like rowing my own gears too

    • @wardwhitehead
      @wardwhitehead ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ECPP Yup, slower than DCT but more fun and involving to drive. I was sold on the Z (very similar power & weight to M2-C) until reviews revealed its sub-par driving dynamics; M2 Comp. is a more legit sports car. If Supra wasn't overstyled it would be my pick. Decisions, decisions! Cheers!

    I like the Audi and have owned my share of VW cars and they make great daily drivers. Now that I’m a little older my daily driver is a 325i and my fun car and very recently acquired is an M2C I couldn’t be happier it’s a great car excellent blend of performance and practicality I guess it comes down to the driver I think BMW offers more driver Engagement I went with manuals on both my cars.

    • @ECPP
      @ECPP  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great choice, the manuals are awesome to drive and there are not many cars with it so it’s good to get one now. Also the M2C is a really fun machine and is hard to beat for performance vs price in euro cars

    In the 24hrs Daytona, A BMW is giving the Porsche's hell in the GTLM ; In GTD, its Audi 1,2,3 (two Lambo's and a R8) .
    I think the M2 here would be a very fun 2nd or 3rd car (you wanted performance , BMW made it for you ..... now, can you live with it? ; while the TTRS could be a daily driver (but most likely a 2nd car). Thanks Mark!

      This is why German cars are for the elite of the Ivy League not someone in a middle management position in a strip mall or a factory worker in Tennessee.

    Ok so in the US the m2-c is about 13k less than the average equipped ttrs. Also, the ttrs is being discontinued because of subpar sales. Personally, I really like the Audi, specifically for fit and finish reasons. Realistically, my nod would go to the bmw for the resale and popularity reasons. Finally, the Germans build one hell of a car and you’re gonna be happy with either one. Btw, I roll in a F13 M6 coupe.
