Thanks for the vid, good points. I'm having the same issue on my V2. My V3's get less use and have not failed yet. I love one up but may go to a Wolf Tooth
Thank you! Good to know, I have the same setup this year. I will monitor it. Perhaps a tighter cable (less movement) in lever would reduce getting to pinch point? Just a thought.
Yep. It's adjusted just before the dropper behaves like a pogo stick. Trying to train the thumb not to be as active on the lever. When you ride 3 different bikes, that's difficult to achieve.. Watching it after every ride more to see what happens over the next 2 months.
The V3 is fine. Just took a little more fiddling to get the cable to clamp in cleanly. I don't have a pnw, so I can't compare and comment. However, the Wolf Tooth version, the "reMote 360" lever might also be worth considering.
Hello- My V3 lever (with new V3 post) doesn’t do anything you showed. I noticed you routed the cable around the bolt/washer on the lever incorrectly. It should go under the washer but ABOVE it, not below and at a sharp angle, but along the top edge at a gentle angle. 🍻
It's actually routed correctly now. The one you saw was from an emergency field replacement... It does NOT have any effect on the crush-cutting issue. The latest install is still running without the issue reoccurring. Fingers crossed.

One of the guys I ride with swears by Wolf Tooth. So far my fix is holding.

Cable is snug, too tight and the dropper won't lock. I'm still not sure what's going on...
Have you tried advancing the barrel adjustment for the dropper activation to be more sensitive? To not have to pull all the way to the cam?

@@AndreLaurentMTB man, that sucks. I just got one of these too….
Keep an eye on it. I suspect if the cable doesn't start fraying you should be ok... 🤔 Maybe. 😂
I'm trying to decide which one to get, either this OneUp V3 Lever or PNW Loam Lever V2. What are your thoughts?
