What do you think is the best dropper post on the market? What post are you running on your bike? Are dropper posts overrated? Inquiring minds need to know.

as far as i know, this is the best. maybe some prefer if it had kashima and/or wireless

I’d love to directly compare this to the BikeYoke Revive 2.
Unfortunately, no one locally carries the OneUp.

@@jamesc6876 This is easily one of the best droppers on the market... Kashima and/or wireless definitely would have driven up the cost and/or weight considerably. Very impressed on this release from OneUp, they didn't miss with this post. Thank you for the comment.

That's (also) the comparison I'm looking for. I'm on a BY Revive now and can't see how there is anything better - except for a lower price. Just got a new bike that came with a PNW and I immediately want better. A dropper that is 95% as 'good' as a BikeYoke for a 15% weight savings and 30% lower price could definitely be the ticket.
Pretty sure I'm going to get a V3 after this review. (LOL) @@TheDefusedHero

I tried the v3. While lateral movement or lack of is amazing. The post drop force is really high, it binds due to the tight tolerance and smashes and breaks the collar over time. Back to PNW for me.

I just got the V2, for my fat bike, and while I don't have experience with numerous droppers, it has been problem free and works great for my needs. Might have to get the V3, for my other fat bike.

Wow, refillable air cartridges were a feature previously. Takes some gall to remove it and call it a bigger feature than the extra feature you removed.

The feature is that you don’t have to remove the saddle to pump up the air cartridge. Let’s hope the cartridge lasts a while. On my V2.1 dropper it died after 3 years, but One Up gave me a 50% discount for a new cartridge.

I was thinking the same thing, being able to add air was a selling point. adjustable resistance and quicker or slower return force.

Very cool but the V2 was so good I don’t think anyone is going to be running out to upgrade anytime soon

I have a V2 on both of my full suspension bikes and after pulling it apart to check it out and compare the two, I will be along with others I ride with haha. My enduro bike that I built it nightmarishly heavy so it'll be nice to shave weight where I can. Thanks for watching!

I have the v2 and it's been solid. The v3 will be my next post.

Tried to do some stuff a little differently and show the internals, glad you appreciated it. Thanks for the comment.

While the non serviceable cartridge is convenient, it's quite wasteful. One hopes the size you need is available once it goes bad. I can't recommend any product whose core functionality relies on a non serviceable component. One up is yet another company that wholly relies on the manufacturing of someone else, while producing nothing under their own roof.

That's why ill stick with tranz X. Maker of PNW and ONE up.
