I just want to add my voice to the comments about Mandy being gullible when it comes to forgiving Brenna and inviting her to stay. Considering she and Beth disposed of Trevor, left him in the back garden for a couple of years and when it all came out, Brenna was sending the family poison pen-letters, it’s just incredible to think a few sympathetic words is all it takes for Mandy to want a fresh start. Maybe I’m just too cynical, but I’ll bet even the viewers watching on the telly three nights a week back in the day were thinking the same.
If it was still around today it would still be featuring the same sort of storylines that just seemed to drag on and on forever before they finally reached their climax.
