A very quick Thermal management tip: If you THINK your laptop is hitting temps above your desire ( probably anything in the range of 88 to 95 ) the osd software that comes with MSI afterburner ( Riva Tuner ) can lock the fps of the game which can greatly reduce cpu load. For example if your laptop has a 144hz panel and you are playing an e-sports title probably Valorant or CS-Go, You can lock the fps to 144 from that software ( I do not favor V-sync beacuse it dosen't help that much, plus using Riva tuner the frametime also smoothen out which means no more stutter, i.e apart from shaders). BUT if you play a Single player title Like the Witcher 3,RDR2,Cyberpunk 2077, Spider-Man, etc and you are hitting somewhere more than 100 fps, Lock it to either 60 or 90 since Single player titles don't need high framerates 60 fps is enough but if you feel like it 90 is okay too. ALL IN ALL by doing this you can reduce a reasonable degrees of cpu and gpu temp ( DEPENDS ON HOW HIGH YOUR FRAMERATES AND CPU WATTS GO ). Remember though if you going to do this use Riva tuner please since built-in V-sync of games sometimes doesn't apply to frametime graph. THANK YOU❤
@@vaibhavsharma6684 cpu boosting feature is not worth it in a laptop form factor in my opinion I actually use both my method and your method so my temperatures stay around 70-80 degrees So a combination of both is actually the best approach 😉
@@LAMG059 That actually depends from CPU to CPU I have a ryzen 5000 chip and by using just 5 watts of extra power it can boost above 4ghz, which is actually helpful in reducing stutters. However if I ser it to 99% then it won't even go past it's base clock speed i.e 2.9ghz, which means where I was getting more than 100 fps uncapped in the game, now I am struggling in low 40s. Let's take witcher 3 for example, I can get above 90ish fps on ultra texture, ultra LOD and the rest at medium, but my CPU temps go like 88 and 87 ( can go above but I set a thermal throttling limit at 88) But If I lock my fps to 75 or maybe 60. My CPU temps come down to 79, maybe 75.

Really liked this laptop especially it's back design and the front rgb is looking very unique and damn cool. The privacy shutter is also well designed. The thermals are great considering it's cpu is consuming around 90w and sometimes even 100w. really liked your review and the laptop.
Any laptop will have great thermals with chill 22 degree room temperature. Ye venom kisi laptop ko 27-28 pe test krta hai. Kisi ko 22 pe. Fuddu banake ka scene hai.

Hi, I am confused between Asus vivobook s15 OLED (13500H / 16gb/ 512gb) and Asus vivobook 16X (13900H / 16gb/ 1tb). One give 16 inch IPS display with better cpu but other is 15 inch OLED but good cpu. My use case is not very high level. Chrome with 12-15 tabs and Excel and trading terminal in background run. SSD 512 or 1 tb buth are same for me as in my current laptop I can fill only 112 gb in last 5 years 😂... What will be better choice as a stock market trader. Please suggest.
Bhai 3070 series still being sold at 1.5-2L. Only acer has brought down the price but personally I had a really bad experience so think twice before going for acer.

Just set the maximum processor state to 99%, the cpu temperature will drop by 5 to 10 degrees maybe even more, with minimal performance loss
