I have the i7 14700 hx rtx 4060 model (Tip- people who are trying to get it below 1l use sbi credit card offer and then exchange of old laptop if its possible) Pros- Performance as promised When i stess tested the cpu the temps hit a max of 84 degrees. Also about gpu it performs almost equivalent to the PC RTX 4060 since they share similar specs. Tested some games with max/ ultra settings on native 1200p resolution and the results were as follows GTA 5- 150+ Valorant- 350+ CS2 140+ Watchdogs 2- 130 The ssd is pretty fast as well. Ram is dual channeled as well works at par to other DDR5 competitors Cons---- Worst display. Says 1200p and also has no hdr support so nothings good about it. 144hz feels alright. Major issue which according to me in this laptop is the screen. My laptop has a lot of backlight bleeding in the edges ( i assume its because of the tight hinges). Also theres a stuck pixel on the screen which no matter how much i try won't go away. The screen is the WORST. The next con is that it comes with 16 GB DDR5 ram and in this price point 32 pr atleast 24GB is must. At idle theres almost 30-40 percent RAM consumption, looked at a lot of threads about it and it said its normal and not to worry since some apps are in bg are there so as to open softwares faster, and while doing some heavy task the windows optimises the memory management. Tip- For the ones using this laptop please don't use the msi ai user scenario since i found it pretty useless, if you want to make full use of your laptop when plugged on make sure to manually set the user scenario to performance)
