"Scooby Doo 2 was a piece of poo, but better than the first one. I'm just glad that I did not see this crap at the cinema."
(Sung to the tune of the original show.)
These 2 Scooby-Doo movies were my childhood I think they’re great. And the cast is perfect. Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed is one of my favourite movies of all time.
Scooby Doo: Mystery incorporated is the best Scooby Doo property. It's basically if you fused Scooby Doo with Twin Peaks.
James lists the whole cast and forgets ROWAN ATKINSON
You and maso help so much during this difficult time. Thank you so much.
You're welcome, we appreciate the support.
These films were my childhood, I loved them growing up!!! In my young mind Velma and Daphne were sooo kick ass and cool, and there's definitely issues with their characters, but I think it was good overall as a young girl to see the women getting shit done
Side note: I would still do ANYTHING to look like Velma in that orange catsuit
Same😂😂
I was obsessed with this movie.
I mean, OBSESSED.
Loved it.
“The plot” cuts to a frame of Linda Cardellini as Velma who’s in a sort of low cut sweater. Genius editing.
I didn't hate Scrappy Doo as a kid so I was confused as to why he was made into the villain for the movie.
Scrappy was the worst.
Same, I don't remember hating Scrappy Doo.
I didn't watch the show when I was a kid, so as far as I was concerned, the movie was just throwing all sorts of randomness at me and I was like "okay."
@@frankiedetori440 i was born in 1991 and HATE scrappy doo, however, i do prefer him to flim flam 100% and i dont mind him in this movie, i cant believe that tim curry woulndt do the movie because of it
Yeah, me too. I was very young and I remember leaving the cinema sad because of what they did with Scrappy-Doo. It was like watching a Batman movie where Robin was the villain.
"thee plot", proceeds to zoom in on hot velma
Aw. I wish we could’ve heard more from Mason what he actually liked from this movie. That sounds like it would’ve been interesting.
Now I want a dark and gritty Old Man Shaggy where Scooby's dead and the team hates each other's guts, but he has to solve one last mystery to save them from a monster crime syndicate or something
The zoom in on "the plot".... subtle. veeeeeery subtle. lol.
there are two types of people:
"2,00 and 2"
"2002"
cantina two hundred and two? 🤔
huh, I don't recall anyone referring to 2002 as two-hundred and two, my memory must be foggy.
ah yes, twenty oh two
There are two types of people, those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
@@NameGoesWhere0 I think you meant to say twenty zero two
Scrappy really wasn't that hated.
It was James Gunn who despised him
No fans have hated Scrappy since he was created. He was annoying and is even more so now.
No... Scrappy was very much hated. As someone who lived during that time I can assure you Scrappy is very much a hated character.
@@somberstricken4424 From what I remember Scrappy was pretty liked by kids, though the adults who grew up with the show absolutely hated the character for the most part.
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheScrappy
Mostly everyone hated Scrappy-Doo not just because he was annoying but he became the main focus during season 2 and 3 of Scooby-Doo And Scrappy-Doo with only Shaggy and Scooby without Fred, Velma, and Daphne after season 1 and it's where fans do start 2 hate him since season 1 of Scooby-Doo And Scrappy-Doo was okay for them because it still has the entire gang around. U might not know but after a 10 year run with 3 shows Scooby-Doo was in trouble of getting cancelled and that's the reason why Scrappy-Doo was made in the first place. Say what u will about him. Love him or hate him but it's what Hanna-Barbera did 2 create him and save Scooby-Doo's ratings so it won't get cancelled. I never despised Scrappy as a kid but I watched the live-action movie and now I c why he was the villain because of Scrappy haters and found him annoying next 2 Star Wars with Jar Jar haters. James Gunn director of Guardians Of The Galaxy wrote the 2 movies and made Scrappy the villain because he's one of the Scrappy haters.
It baffles me that there is a generation of ADULTS that weren’t even born when this movie came out. And I’m not even that old. I’m only 27...
You've just become an old person. Congratulations!
+BigBad Bryant The movie came out in June of 2002, so no, no one that was born after this movie came out is an adult yet.
Unless they live in an area where adults are 17/16 or older.
Lol I'm only 20 but wow way to make me feel old XD (but you're right, it IS crazy)
@@half-lifescientist1991 Oh I know that I just figured the commenter was joking around and meant that there are teenagers who don't know about this flick and us adults feel old as a result, which sure is funny to think about.
Haha no one cares about your old crap grandpa
Was hoping for a Wing Commander reference when you mentioned Matthew Lillard, was excited to see it when you got to Freddie Prinze, Jr. Thank you!
This is a real nostalgic movie I remember seeing this when I was little. Wanting my own big sandwiches
I feel like this movie would've been just a little bit better if they have use Hooked on a Feeling on the soundtrack.
Only if it was a cover by Creed, otherwise it's not 2002 enough

Finally, one of my favorite movies
Actually Scrappy Doo was very well received upon his introduction and can actually be contributed as an important factor for why the franchise has remained on our screens with very small gaps between.
Watching Good Girls and seeing Shaggy as a middle-aged suburban dad was the strangest thing and I knew his face but couldn't put my finger on it.
