I've loved your video's. I've bought one of your books so far. I'm learning on a keyboard and I'm 51 years old and haven't played an instrument since junior high school.
I only had lessons for almost 5 1/2 - 6 years. Different teachers and a Grandma that want me to learn church pieces only. So for the last 3 years I have been teaching myself through videos and a chord chart. I have had some help from my hubby who was trained at at Juilliard School Of Music. But he isn't a teacher. I have already been practicing what you spoke of in this lesson. Good tips and tricks for sure. My problem is and has always been breaking the flow from one chord to the next. I may get the whole song almost right but then towards the end, either hit the wrong single note or I am caught up in singing that I forget where to go next. 😄 It can be frustrating 😒 though. I'm going to keep searching for the reason why I do that. I thought a few days ago, maybe if I can memorize the next chord I won't forget and change faster. I write songs that are beautiful but simply sound like a beginner when playing them. I end up getting hubby to play what I wrote. He says I'm getting better so I don't know what to think. Thanks for these free lessons. I appreciate them.
I am a piano teacher. Your explanation is very detailed and clearly delivered. I will adopt the exercises that you presented in the video to improve my students's chord transition technique. Many thanks for your useful tips.
Thanks for this. I have just started playing and have been using the evil claw hand until now for most chords . Glad I found this video before this became too ingrained :)
Your video recall me when I was a beginner and this was a major issue. Just to say that to apply this quite useful advice requires to understand inversions and be familiar with at least some common ones for good transition. To use all the fingers and spread the hand is another thing that needs practice and time.
Hi Franseca love your tutorials and find them so easy to follow. I appreciate you are busy but at some time in the future could you do a tutorial on passing chords. Kind Regards
I'm having a hard time moving up the keys as my fingers don't fit between. Any suggestions or should I just try to work around. I am also checking into lessons which will help. Thanks for all of your assistance.
I posted a simple cover of me singing and playing piano and i receive some compliments saying my playing improved. And that's all because of your video tutorials! Thank you somuch and more power to your channel! 😍💪
Bitesize Piano yes it is, no doubts. Din’t explain well, I meant more like this, like how to trasition, put hands, this kind of ultra complicated stuff! :) Thank you!
Thank you so much!! This video has made it so much easier for me to transition chords and has made it even more comfortable Love u and thank u ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You're so AWESOME! and have helped me with my piano playing. Could you please please please make a tutorial for Wind Beaneath my Wings by Bette Midler. I want to learn it to surprise my aunt :)
Is it possible to get your chord transposition in PDF format and also your other chord progressions showing as to how to move fingers without much finger movements
Hey, im learning how to play keyboard and your videos are great. Can you please make a tutorial for Nuvole Bianche - Ludovico Einaudi (maybe a simple version)? I love this song
Hey there 😊 This might sound stupid 😅but could you maybe make a video with tips on how to use the sustain pedal ? I taught myself how to play the piano and I didn’t have a pedal so I just used the automatic reverb function of my digital piano but I got a sustain pedal a couple of days ago and I’m struggling 😂 much love 💕
Would you consider doing a tutorial for Little Voice by Sara Bareilles? It’s so pretty and I’d love to learn it, but I struggle to learn from any other TH-cam creator
Hi, I am a beginner. I am confused with inversions. Shall I play in the root position to better practice the hand movement or play with inversions to make the transition smoother?
This is really helpful! Especially the twisting wrist part, i always get strain whenever i have to play the black chords. Thanks so much, love all your tutorials! Btw, just asking do you know NIKI from 88rising? Her songs really good!. Just adding artists songs you might like to do a tutorial :). Greetings from Indonesia!!🇮🇩
Commenting multiple times has no bearing whatsoever on whether I decide to make a tutorial or not. You only need to comment your request once. Thank you
Been playing piano for 1 month. 2 hours every day. Having trouble going from C and G Major to D Major . Going from C to G is easy . Going to D is hard. In a quagmire right now need help ..
Im new at piano I just realized I only predominantly play chords with my left hand and it's awkward with my right hand I believe this is because I've played the guitar my whole life
😂 nah I'm alright, people know what it means 👍 I'm also not 'wrong'. I'm teaching how to play MORE smooth and MORE easy than one has been doing. So smoothER and easiER is correct 👌

Hello mam 🙏🏻🙏🏻 your’s teaching style is very helpful and very effective to understand. Thanks
Thanks so much for this lesson. I have been twisting my wrist to reach some notes instead of sliding my hand up. Perhaps now I can stop the pain…

Hello!
hey there!
Hello
Hey!👋
helloooooooooo i am new
Hello new! 😋
We have to do chords in left and right hand at the same time?
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking?
why are we listening to this vive palmer 😤😤
What’s a vive palmer? ❤️
Omg I'm firstttt
Yay! :)
?
Please change this to “smoothly & easily” - don’t fall into the trap of using poorly educated “American English”
😂 nah I'm alright, people know what it means 👍
I'm also not 'wrong'. I'm teaching how to play MORE smooth and MORE easy than one has been doing. So smoothER and easiER is correct 👌
