If you are a beginning piano student, you have come across a great source of information. I started a little over four months ago and there are certain lessons I'll watch over and over again. Franceska is a great source of information and deserves your support.
You are amazing! I'm an adult (49 years old) and I started to learn piano in lockdown period cuz I was bored and I don't watch TV. I've never been a woman who likes to watch TV. And I had bought a piano keyboard (almost a toy jajajaja) from a friend. I always thought that I was not able to play it. So, one day i realized that I had nothing to do in that moment and I was so bored and I started to watch videos to learn piano and music. So since that day I fell in love with piano. So I started from 0. I found ur channel and u r simply amazing teacher. I've learned a lot and it has been really funny. I just love piano and I what I like the most is to find teachers like you. Thanks a lot.
I love playing. I believe I hit a ceiling in my skills. These videos have helped so much. The frustration is going away. Your structure of these lessons are amazing. I have been floating around with different ways of learning. Starting to understand Long way to go, but I’m definitely grateful and sticking with it. With your help. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much, Francesca! Great video! This kind of video is awesome because it shows the building blocks of piano playing in general instead of being confined to a single song. So keep them coming! They are very much appreciated! On the other hand I do think you are the best at showing what to play when you are trying to sing a given song while at the piano. Most other channels just show how to play the song, melody and all, but not how to play for singers, so that's great too. Thanks again!
You´re absolutely the best ( and must pretty 😊 ) piano teacher on TH-cam - I´m slowly going through all your lessons/videos and they give me so much confidence in my attempt to catch up playing piano which I unfortunately left many years ago. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
I was just messing around with the chords for happy birthday and now I’ve watched this, realised I was (badly) using arpeggios! Really like the theory, helps to understand the background to everything 👍🏻
Wow you are so so so so fantastic! Right now I’m not in a financial position to pay for the course you have online but as soon as I do I look forward to your piano course! Thank you. Thank you for keeping piano learning simple and achievable! ❤️❤️✨✨😍😍
I just wanted to also add that I was almost about to give up on the possibility of ever actually becoming good at playing the piano. I think I subscribed to your TH-cam channel a while ago but I’ve subscribed to so many others and it your channel got lost in the pile of TH-cam channels. Then just as I was about to give up like a saving grace one of your videos popped up on my page and now I’m sucked in ! You keep your explanations so simple and straight forward and you avoid getting too technical with music theory jargon which can be overwhelming when you’re a beginner which I truly appreciate! Thank you again ❤️🌹
That was beautiful. I plan to try it today. Something tells me it will be like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time at first. Thank you Francesca!
Hi Francesca, this is a great video for practicing. It was very helpful that you illustrated the notes on the screen, with the proper fingering. In addition the melody on the right hand was simple and great. Keep them coming:)))
It's not really about improvising in the right hand, I just showed something simple and repetitive to let the arpeggios have the lime light. I can certainly make a video about improvising melodies in the right hand though!
@@BitesizePiano it was on my watch later list. It was useful even if I already did some of it. The thing I was thinking of is how do you play an D major (or Gm) arpeggio over two octaves.
I WAS ATTEMPTING TO LEARN HOW TO COORDINATE MY LEFT HAND TO PLAY A STEADY RHYTHM WHILE PLAYING WITH MY RIGHT HAND THE LEAD PIANO KEYS:FOR INSTANCE. THE SONG"DO YOU KNOW THE WAY TO SAN JOSE" AND THERE IS A ROSE IN SPANISH HARLEM. ALSO THE OCTAVE JUMPS LIKE "C TO F" I NEED A LOT OF HELP.
I do like your lesson but this motif is not simple for beginners. Coordinating yours left and right hand isn’t easy at all. Let alone the timing. May have to come back to this in six months maybe 😂
No it’s not entirely aimed at beginners. It’s mainly to show you how to play an arpeggio, with a demonstration of how you could compose something simple and effective using them. It’s not a tutorial on something I made up, it’s more of a demonstration.

You’re very welcome, pleased you find them helpful 🎹
Love how you can hear your emotion when you've played the melody along with the arpeggio. Love your lessons! You really keep me motivated!
Super video. Love to see the notes in the corner in addition to letters.

Pleased you found it helpful!
As usually so easy to understand. Thank you
Pleased you found it helpful :)
Nice one Fran the first song I learnt on piano was Le Onde by Ludovico Einaudi, absolutely beautiful to play.
Le Onde is conceptually beautiful; Le Onde means 'The Waves' and the sheet music literally looks like waves. It's one of my favourite of his. x
Excellent tutorial. Demystifies arpeggios and the seemingly impossibility for a beginner.
So glad you found it helpful!
Glad to learn arpeggios
I haven't seen her in awhile. Miss her awesome teachings.
Welcome back!
Muchas Gracias por compartir estas lecciones. Ya me suscribí. Saludos desde Venezuela.

You’re very welcome 🤗🎹
Absolutely, so much information in there thanks a lot. I wonder if this lesson also called Improvise with the right hand?
It's not really about improvising in the right hand, I just showed something simple and repetitive to let the arpeggios have the lime light. I can certainly make a video about improvising melodies in the right hand though!
Thank you very much Francesca i do appreciate it and apply all of your lesson🙏
Not sure if you already done this but I would find it interesting to see what fingers you use when you play chords on with black keys like D, Bb or Gm
You seen this one? th-cam.com/video/Cm0O4IhLcPY/w-d-xo.html
@@BitesizePiano it was on my watch later list. It was useful even if I already did some of it.

It reminds me of Passacaglia.
I see why you think that yes! Oh man I love Passacaglia
Arpeggios also used in Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters.
Hey pls can you play count on me Bruno Mars pls
1:34 this is dangerous for my wrist and thumb "-)
You're sitting too close to the piano and not moving your elbow then! This is how Arpeggios are played.
@@BitesizePiano Yep , my piano is on bad.I play about 20 days and must buy stand for piano.
There's a problem in conveying the tip I don't know how it is facilitated.
