This is the right direction for Malaysia to move forward. The Government should improve racial harmony and racial tolerance and do away with two sets of laws in Malaysia. There should only be the Common Law and not to have Syariah Law and Common Law. This is unfair for the Muslim Malaysians and promotes unhappiness and intolerance. Furthermore, the religious leaders can use religious laws to propagate and to gain power over the people. In a multi-racial society, it is only fair to have only the Common Law and the Penal Code. Can you imagine the cruel act of stoning people to death like we see in Iraq, Iran, Syria and Lebanon? Even a criminal deserves to a dignified death in the prison and not "killed" by stones thrown by the people. Malaysia should stop emulating Middle East - simply Malaysians are not Arabs.
Since when the Sharia Law in Malaysia involve stoning people? Are you okay there?
Dont simply talk about islam pls refer to federal constitution. Follow guildlines These are dangerous can cause racial problem.
