The TRX will never be a T-rex because it won't last as long as the dinosaur, it not going to go past 1 million miles like a Titan can. VK56 engine is bulletproof. I see TRX on the highway, it looks like any other Ram truck. The 2019 Rebel looks better than the TRX. TRX front headlight is small, compared to previous Ram's generations. For 110,000 dollars, I expect the TRX to stand out significantly---it does not. You cannot compare a TRX to a regular Titan Pro-4X. A Titan Warrior would be a better comparison.

Weight is overall king in TOW. Their power is identical and yet the TRX has a small bit more and obviously more weight and smaller tire setup for less rolling mass. It would be embarrassing if it didn't win. Either one is good for what they do.

The TRX is Rams version of the Ford Raptor. When Ram did the reveal of it, they had the song "Mr. Sandman" playing on the commercial. Ford answered with the Raptor R shortly after. During Fords release, they played the song "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.. Probably one of the best marking strategies I've witnessed by Ford.

When it got to a 2year wait. on top of the fact new models have not had the bugs worked out yet and the new bronco had a lot. the top had to be re -designed and the spare tire holder couldn't. I ended up with a Mojave. The raptors plastic fender flares looks likes non others to copy from. Ford was on their own and that was the result. America's Most Wanted will have an Engine solution for the Bronco someday.

Spent a few hours at the Freedom Factory today. Bought tickets for the MRE and it was awesome. The FF crew was amazing. Getting to drive 20 laps was absolutely epic, and was way to short of a time 😂 Highlight of the day was having Zack drive us around the track and show us what a Crown Vic is capable of 👍🏻
I really want to see these two in an off-road race. I'm 100% certain that the raptor would clean up in a true high speed off-road race, and I think it would still win in a slower rock crawling race
I was a ram guy for the longest time, but really been digging the f150 in the last couple years. Both trucks are great, but f150 with v8 is my next truck this year

This was very low force on the balls like they were pulling. The videos where you see them snap off and go sailing through the air are when they are pulling stuck trucks out by running like hell with a loose strap until it yanks like hell.

Ford has empress me with how they took a truck with off road set up. Made it a beast like the old Lightings. Crazy. I have heard there is a way to take off the limiter of 109 make it unlimited. E85 also. How about the Shelby F150 and the TRX now.
The TRX would have done better off the line because of the wait look at no prep guys they start weighing their cars down after they lighten their cars up to get traction

They had a 6.2 that was bulletproof in the gen 1 that a lot of people were supercharging anyways. Also, don’t forget they build them for a purpose. Ford actually runs all of the raptors and all of the broncos in Baja. The trx falls apart once it leaves the highway. The gen 2 was the most powerful truck on the road. The whole idea behind the daily driver Baja truck was ford. You can’t say mopar is pushing something that was never their idea. Ford had 2 generations before they ever came out with anything.

Exactly! A 350 diesel with a 6' lift gets around 5-7+ MPG more than both of those super trucks. Most people also don't realize how extremely light you have to be on the gas pedal to hope you can get up to 12mpg. And if you have a heavy foot then you'll average about 8 MPG.
Shoutout to James man.... The guy obviously is a mechanical wizard... but his "on camera" personality has improved 10 fold. He seems real comfortable being in front of the camera, talking more, all of that.

We needed the dirt drag race in the FF field! I already knew the Raptor was winning on pavement.
Prepped asphalt Raptor takes it, but on just a normal road, the TRX takes it. The track has too much grip, that's why it wheel hopped.
@@KingDeadMan I dont kno about that. im pretty sure it has something to do with the extra 700lbs. I might be mistaken, but the raptor is on 37 and the trx on 35s as well.
@@enigma9789 the raptor R has 4:10 rear gears and the trx has 3:55s and just a 8 speed plus 700 pounds heavier. Pretty impressive it’s only a tenth slower than the raptor🤷🏻

Spent a few hours at the Freedom Factory today. Bought tickets for the MRE and it was awesome. The FF crew was amazing. Getting to drive 20 laps was absolutely epic, and was way to short of a time 😂 Highlight of the day was having Zack drive us around the track and show us what a Crown Vic is capable of 👍🏻
The Raptor is limited to 109. There's a video of a guy who was able to change it and his ETs were .2 quicker and 8 mph faster.
I really want to see these two in an off-road race. I'm 100% certain that the raptor would clean up in a true high speed off-road race, and I think it would still win in a slower rock crawling race
I was a ram guy for the longest time, but really been digging the f150 in the last couple years. Both trucks are great, but f150 with v8 is my next truck this year
Watch out for the 10 speed and phase sensors.

This was very low force on the balls like they were pulling. The videos where you see them snap off and go sailing through the air are when they are pulling stuck trucks out by running like hell with a loose strap until it yanks like hell.
Doing donuts around the TRX was probably one of the coolest things he’s done with that raptor.

Disadvantage to have taller tires. More wheel torque with smaller tires.

@@03terminatorsnakehonestly diff gear ratio doesn’t make as much of a difference as it used to with these 8-10 speed transmissions bc the gear ratios for every gear are very short

Ford has empress me with how they took a truck with off road set up. Made it a beast like the old Lightings. Crazy. I have heard there is a way to take off the limiter of 109 make it unlimited. E85 also. How about the Shelby F150 and the TRX now.

They had a 6.2 that was bulletproof in the gen 1 that a lot of people were supercharging anyways. Also, don’t forget they build them for a purpose. Ford actually runs all of the raptors and all of the broncos in Baja. The trx falls apart once it leaves the highway. The gen 2 was the most powerful truck on the road. The whole idea behind the daily driver Baja truck was ford. You can’t say mopar is pushing something that was never their idea. Ford had 2 generations before they ever came out with anything.

Exactly! A 350 diesel with a 6' lift gets around 5-7+ MPG more than both of those super trucks. Most people also don't realize how extremely light you have to be on the gas pedal to hope you can get up to 12mpg. And if you have a heavy foot then you'll average about 8 MPG.
