It was right to sack him. He was never going to deliver the Championship football that Leeds supporters crave.
I'm not a leeds fan, but it was right to paert company with him. You could tell by his body language towards the end of his reign, even he knew it was time.

Patrick Viera’s last 4 games for Palace were against Arsenal, Brighton, Man City and Aston Villa. They sack him and bring in Woy Hodgson and their next 4 games are against Wolves, Everton, Southampton and Leeds. Nothing to do with Woy Hodgson, palace could’ve won those games under Viera too.
Thing is, we don't know that and Roy has a track record of success with Palace. Maybe Patrick would have won them? But maybe the people at the club saw a problem and took a gamble which paid off.

Marsch couldn't motivate a fox in a hen house! Under his watch this season, they managed 2 wins in 17 games! How is that "good football"?

I think they made a mistake in sacking Marsch. They had a similar problem to Chelsea where they were racking up the xG but couldn't capitalise. I think they would've progressed and the goals would've come. Just my two cents

Bielsa's Leeds went 2-1-7 in the ten games prior to Marsch and, much like now, they were allowing goals at a record pace and dropping in the table like a brick in a lake. Jesse tightened things up a little and went 4-3-3 in his final 10 games to keep Leeds up. Simon thinks Marsch should've been sacked that summer?! I realize his results could've been better this season but at least the lads were playing hard for him. I don't think Marsch gets the credit he deserves from some of these pundits.
Well old Lardarse has done it again, landed himself a no lose situation, no doubt he'll be getting a Kings ransom, for about a months work and most likely a nice fat bonus bigger than his waistline if he manages to somehow keep them up.

With the fixtures Leeds have left it’s difficult seeing where the points will come from.
If 34 points is enough to stay up they might just survive depending on the results of the other relegation candidates. At the moment I can't see them getting more than 4 points out the remaining games no matter who is in charge. Looking at the fixtures I think they will go down with Southampton. Everton or Leicester will probably be the other team to go.

Sam can get a draw, maybe a win against Newcastle, certainly a point or 3 from last 3 games. He can tighten up any defence and get a coupke of set pieces sorted...long throw ins, corners with big guy stood in front of GK...I reckon he'll save them. He's perfect for Leeds, they need to be a solid outfit and I hope he stays there next season and get a mid div finish, he deserves that.

The last gyrations before death. Leeds are cooked. The only way Big Sam can stop the goals is by going in goals himself and effectively blocking them up with his massive frame. Too little, too late. It's not prime Bolton days.
Stick 9 players behind the ball and leave one upfield and you might be lucky and not concede a goal in a couple of games. You might get even luckier and score one on the break.
Don't know what they are going to pay Allardyce for that strategy but I would be happy to go in and do it for a lot less.

So Big Sam is considered a great relegation manager for barely saving teams from the drop, but Jesse Marsch deserves to get blamed and slandered for helping Leeds stay up by the skin of their teeth.
