Affordable Luxury - Pattaya Thailand Condo Tour

- Welcome to my apartment tour in Pattaya, Thailand.
I found this apartment on Facebook groups, named Cosy Beach View, which I managed to negotiate a good price for a 6 month contract. Take a look inside where I detail the cheap Pattaya apartment, the amenities within the Pattaya condo, and what's in the surrounding area of Pratumnak.
When looking for cheap places to live in Thailand, you'll look no further than Pattaya. Whether you're looking for cheap condos in jomtien, cheap condos in Pratumnak, or cheap condos in pattaya city, there is so much available all over the city. The best thing about this area is they will all be beach side apartments, or 5 minutes away!

Some people didn't catch the name of this condo in the video, it's Cosy Beach View Condo, located in Pratumnak. Make sure to watch this video next as these 11 points are worth knowing before coming to Thailand 👀 th-cam.com/video/ga4zeAqRyK4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kzNs59kCuvD5xTUY
My recommendation is if possible rent a unit short time (Airbnb) in the building you want and make sure you like it. Also be aware of time of day and if any bars or night clubs are close by. Enjoy the music when out with the mates not so much when its everyday.
Thats true, although if ever booking an airbnb at a large condo like this, don't tell anyone. There's a law which prohibits any rentals under 30 days, although people still advertise their properties on airbnb for less. Just gotta keep quiet about it 😉
One of my pals told me to do that before I bought my place in Bangkok. I hadn’t even thought about it.
Done a weeks airbnb in a few buildings then decided what place to get.
I was lucky because the place I really liked was a nightmare when I stayed the week in the place.
Always check out what the place in like AT NIGHT. During the day it might be very quiet but noisy at night.
I like your remarks about how costly trying to save 3000 baht in rent may actually be. I am reminded of Ben Franklin's famous quote: "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten".
That’s crazy for the view/quality you get 🤯
Watching this video, I really realized I have to get on going and chase that dream about going fully online/remote and relocating to Thailand 🙌
Good luck man, go get it 👊
Thanks man, appreciate it 🤜🤛
Ive been going to Thailand since 2005. I get condos up top with great air flow. Then you dont need air con and can train/bang even harder as you dont get dehydrated from the air con.
Ive never had a car and got a vasectomy. I get to save 95% of my income as a result!
well edited, you really took your time and showcased a great apartment tour!
Nice edit from your last video of why you moved to Thailand! You said click here to see apartment tour, then BOOM, no wasting time. NICE!
Thank you! 😁
I watch lots of these videos and this is the best I’ve seen for the price.
Exactly. Because it's not real lol
Just amazing! Great vid!
Great apartment! Just came back after 6 months holidays in Thailand, lovely place
Mans is all cozy in that corner and shiiit, fair play to the gent
Great Appartment
Stayed there in June for the month. Great place for the price. The area around is fantastic too.
Nice place and well done tour!
Nice video. Thank you for the content and information. Looking forward for more!
Thanks for watching! 👍
Very detail, thanks
Thanks Ryan . Very inspiring videos which have given me the courage to finally book a 3 week holiday to thailand .
Your first video is so similar to my story , it really made a new life seem achievable for me also ... it moved my thoughts into actions...
Thank you .
Thanks man, wish you all the best of luck and enjoy your time here! 👌
Have you considered doing a 1 week of your life now settled from Monday morning to Sunday eve but also give costings and times ect .How much time you work against play and what there is to do there as I'm also into fitness and yoga . Can I do some training and yoga on the beach sunrise or sunset ? Just an idea . Thanks again .
Thanks for sharing! This was a Great Video...With Great Advice!!
Thanks mate 👍
@@TravelGlitchYou are Welcome My Friend!!
AWESOME place 😎 I almost rented there , great stuff mate nice video, good on you 👍 Enjoy 😊.
dude excellent content excellent coverage. I need to learn more about renting condos. I am retired and don't want to purchase anymore. this looks great
Congrats for starting your journey, after reading RDPD. See you in Pattaya - Dave.
been looking for a video like this for a while! i jusy turned 35 and thinking about making a move to Thailand!
Ryan, very well done video. I am moving over from the states in spring. Had been looking around Jomtien
Beach. However, your area and beach setting is fantastic. Two questions, how close are you to the bhat bus route and how far from the nearest night market? Thanks, John
I love this about condos in Thailand it is not just a flat you rent but you have access to gym pool etc etc :) just a flat where I live is about 450USD not including electric.
Great presentation, great video. And lmao at 2:00 to 2:08 🤣🤣
That rug really pulls the whole room together 😊😊
Brilliant video and great advice 👍
Thanks James appreciate it 👍
fair play to ya, nice condo, no bullshit, straight to the point, cheap as well, would defo consider, moving soon to the land of dreams, i've subscribed, some vloggers just ramble too much, I hope there's more to come👍👍
Thanks mate, appreciate that! Yeah got to get to the point, time is money ay 😉
Sjees, I know where i'm heading! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
Thank you for the info 🙏
Fantastic price
New to your Channel. Top Man! Cheers!😎
Welcome aboard! Thanks for the sub 👍
WOW!!! Great Condominium that i ever see All in 1.🙏❤️👍✌️🍻
🤣🤣🤣🤣
You did really well for yourself!!!!
😂😂
spot on
Nice condo tour, I live in Chiang Mai and pay roughly the same for my condo. I have a little more space in terms of the apartment itself, but definitely less facilities. You can't really go wrong though with Thailand wherever you decide to live.
I lived in CM for a year. I paid 10k for a 1 BR 50 sqm with balcony overlooking the mountains. I love CM but it's too remote and I miss the ocean. Leaving Cebu City in a week and off to Jomtien.
Cosy view. Great condo
Mate the best move ever. My future plans
DJI pocket is calling you mate 😊 nicely done video
Good content
Great video. My wife and I are heading to Thailand tonight traveling from the Philippines and will be in Pattaya Oct 5 for a few days. Appreciate the info, new sub and will check out your others.
Thanks mate, hope you and your wife enjoy your time here 🙏
Nice editing intro, good tour m8,nice one and good luck, the one prob i had living in that area was that it is not on a baht bus route, there are other ways but a little more expensive than the cheap baht buses, though that situation may be different now ?
Thanks mate! Yeah having a motorbike certainly makes things easier up here
In pratumnak gotta have a motorbike. 2k or 3k a month and ur golden. Much better then shitty slow bahtbusses. With wheels ur in skygallery in 2mins, muscle factory in 90secs, soi 5 in 2mins, jomtien in 5 and beachroad or buakhao in 7mins. Easy peasy park where u want and enjoy life!
HAHAAAA! It's Cozy Beach View LOL!! I stayed there 7 MONTHS AGO! 😂😂😂😂. NO UNITS AVAILABLE FOR THAT PRICE. I WAS THERE FOR TWO MONTHS. IT'S Standard $550 PLUS utilities. About $650 USD/month. Was a good view. Good place. $5 or less to Walking Street.
Very nice for the price 👍
thanks for the video. How far are you from a swimming beach? You mentioned 2-5 minutes. Is that true? How far in meters? Great video!
I stood close to you last year in "Andromeda". Yes for sure there are many nice Condos in this (I would call it ) russian-speaking Area but finally for me its to far away from my favorite spots. There is no Bahtbus close, you need a motorbike or taxi. But there are many massages arround your Condos, also a few 7 Eleven stores and a few of the most favorite event (Selfie, Instagram) locations like "3 Mermaids", "Chocolate Factory", "Sky Gallery", "Forest by the Sea" in walking range.
Great video. Condo looks fantastic. Where could someone get the table that your laptop was on? That's a must have for me. 😊
I'm not sure, it came with the apartment. There may be similar people selling on the app "Shopee" that's where I got my mattress topper from
nice place
Awesome place you have got yourself 😎
I tried to stay in the Pattaya area when I was first looking for a place in Thailand and took a 6 month lease out but I had to be honest with myself and admit I’ve no self control to stay in 😂
Now I only do the odd weekend down there for a blowout 😀
Very true, temptation is everywhere especially in Pattaya 😂
Thank you for that. Nice place . I'm moving out there next month for a year at least. I reckon you're right about not trying to save a few quid . I know you said Facebook. But can you recommend any other real estate agent's? . Just subscribed to your channel
Hey, thanks for the sub! Good luck when you move here, you'll love it. In terms of real estate agents I only know the Facebook groups. This was advertised on Facebook by the sales office of this condo. The best thing to do is to book a hotel for 3-7 days, and within that time drive around and just walk into any condo asking to look at their rooms and rental prices. You can get a list of places to visit on Facebook and most condos have a sales office similar to this one where they can show you on the day anything that's available 👍
You’ll only get that sunset for a month or so, in that position, it moves quite quickly during the year!
Ah don't tell me that! 😂
Nice to see a farang still enjoying Western tea. Here in Canada, the two main brands of orange-pekoe tea are "Red Rose" and "Tetley". I do not know if you ever saw these while living in the UK. Have you seen them in Thailand?
Tetley is great! Popular in UK
@@TravelGlitch Have you seen Tetley (or Red Rose) or their Thai equivalents there?
@@sebastianhamilton5892 I've not seen them, although I've not looked, so they may be here I'm unsure
Excellent video! Is there a bus route within walking distance? Does the unit include Wifi, or you provide your own internet? Thanks!
Unit has WiFi but it's terrible, I got my own router and cable installed (3000 baht and 1k per month for 500/500 upload download through surf internet). There isn't a bus route close by, so taxi is your best option aside from riding yourself
Do a video about your visa, what type of visa your using and what are the options
Pretty awesome apartment for the price and modern building. How much you pay for water electric
Great deal... Leaves more money for the bar girls.. Probably 3 or 4 of those per week...
I've been to the Philippines and thailand. I'm not big on this bar girl thing. Seem like a lot of foreigners go there for bar girls that seems like an incredibly unwise way to spend money. I stayed an hour from Chiang Rai saw 3 foreigners in 25 days. Loved it. Way cheaper than even Chiang Mai and more traditional I would say
dope vid! If i'm looking to move at the beginning of next year it's too early to try to find a place yea?
Awesome, good luck! Maybe it's a little early but you could time it right where a tenant moves out around that time and you could set up a moving in date. Get some emails sent out and see what you can arrange 👍
Ironic because I know this building (from other videos) and actually considering the very same apartment layout because of the nook that I would set up as my trading space. It was great to get more detailed information about the apartment I'm most interested in. Nicely done video. Maybe you can do another one showing what is nearby (shopping malls, gyms, kart racing, driving ranges, etc). I liked this video so much I'm subscribing to your channel.
Thanks for your comment! Pratumnak is about 5 minute drive away from popular spots such as shopping malls, markets etc. There is some shops, restaurants, massage, weed shops and food vendors 1 minute walk away but everything else will require a bike/taxi to get there. Hope that helps!
@@TravelGlitch thank you for the info.
Wow it was like built for digital nomads
Be Sure To Get A Work Visa If You Are Working! Working online IS Classed As Working! The Thais Love Deporting People! .
nice apartment it seems very cheap for what you get but how much do you make whilst in thailand is it a lot less than in the UK? and whats the taxes like?
Damn dude you just made me want to do the same as you! I am free to do so and I happen to have a bit of spare money. How long will you be staying there? I was in Phuket 10 years ago myself and currently im 33 and have been thinking of just going back there myself on longer terms! This is so motivating! And 11500 baht for a month is totally wild! I been doing some google search but I could not find these prices yet
Probably best thing about the joint
hello glitch, why is there no other people in the condos service areas like the pool, and the leisure area? it looks everyything so empty overall. what does a busy day there look like? thank you
I went at a very quiet time to film to avoid getting anyone on camera, typically there's always at least one person in the sauna and a few people around the pool area, this is low season too so from now until May it'll certainly be busier
cool thank you bro, what is the condos name?@@TravelGlitch
You have a nice condo,
how late at night can you access the pool area in these condos?
one thing that annoys me with hotels in Pattaya is they lock the pool about 7pm.
not for swimming, I 'd just like to sit out there with my laptop rather than on the balcony but can't.
14th floor pool closes 10pm, rooftop 11pm I believe 👍
Hey, cool video I have a question do they do per month?
Unfortunately they do not. Although independent landlords may do listening on airbnb. This is tech ically not allowed to do less than 30 days rent though so 🤫 haha
@@TravelGlitch
Thank you haha 🙏
i want to grab this opportunity. I would like to move on June first week. may i get the details? how to book?
Are you paying the cheaper government subsidised (electricity and water) rates or the usually higher rate which the the condo management company is charging you? The invoice is the clue on which one you're paying.
This condo is 6 baht per unit so 1 baht above government rate, not too bad as I've seen some condos charging 8 or 9 baht
Good Stuff! - Good that you're aware of this when condo hunting. @@TravelGlitch
Sorry, one more thing, I must have missed it..........the name of your building? Looks very nice!
The name is Cosy Beach View Condo. Unfortunately pratumnak is up a hill so I don't think the baht buses come this way, I do see them but not sure if they're on some kind of route. Night Market is down the hill so I have a motorbike although there's lots of bolt/taxi drivers around
Do you have a work permit there lad or one of those student or Muay Thai visa that everyone is using
Wow, the price for that condo is amazing. Can you rent long-term after 6 months or do you have to move to another condo in Pattaya?
You can rent for 6 months, 1 year and I assume at the end of this contract I could renew if I wanted
what's it like re waiting lists etc , deposits ?
What is the name of the building ?
Hey mate, thank you for showing the place. I have a silly question though...
What about security? Do you feel comfortable leaving your laptop/wallet/phone in these condos when you go to the gym, or leave the complex for a walk?
Yes the doors are almost safe-like quality, very thick and double lock. The security is 24/7 and they monitor the barrier constantly. You have to have a key card to get in and also a key card to go up any levels, so it's pretty secure 👍
@@TravelGlitch thanks.
This place is secure. They have (sleepy) guards at the front gate/door 24/7. There's no sketch re anyone living there. No sketch comes in unless someone brings her in.
Is your electric billed by electric company or condo itself?
By the condo itself which is 6 baht in this condo, 1 baht above the government rate
Excellent location. What kind of visa do you have to stay that long?
Most people opt for education visa so you can learn the language and stay for 1 year
Speak to a visa agent and there's options for everyone wink wink nudge nudge
How far walk to the bhat bus or share local transport?
It's up on the hill, you may have to get a 30 baht bolt motorbike taxi to get down to second road for the baht bus
@@TravelGlitch thank you telling me. That will not be suitable for me, but I like the apartment, very nice.
What is cost of your condo
Nice apartment for that price. I'm not living in Thailand but I've seen a lot of high prices for apartments in Bangkok lately. Can I ask for your visa? How can you stay for 6+ months? Do you have a multi-entry visa? Or a student/language school visa? Or an elite one?
Bangkok is very pricy from what I saw a few months ago, especially if you want a semi good location that isn't a 30 minute BTS ride away from the centre.
There is a lot of visas as you've listed, but most people opt for education visa as you can study the language too with it and stay long term here
@@TravelGlitch Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I liked Bangkok but I'm not the type of guy that wants to end dead on the streets. Jokes aside, the traffic is crazy and I'm not a big fan of huge cities longterm. I probably will travel to Pattaya too and stay there until I don't like it anymore. Let's see
@@TravelGlitchCan you extend the education visa for another year if you want?
Unfortunately I don’t use facebook, can you please let me know where I can rent a condo for the same price as you are paying at the cosy beach view.
Many thanks - 🙏😊🇬🇧
I would recommend coming here and visiting the sales office on ground floor, they'll show you around the available rooms. They have a website which there is contact details on - cosybeachview.com/
Thanks for the video, Nice place, im heading out for the next 3 months and might get a unit here, any contact info of available units
Good luck when you arrive! Best thing is to come here between 9:00-17:00 and speak to the sales office on the ground floor 👍
Thanks for the info ille check it out @@TravelGlitch
When I go to the US I never see price in Thai Bart why
Hey Brother I was not going to ask the name of the condo Community cuz I figured you wouldn't give it if you were still going to be living there but the next video it said that you were staying in England at least for the meantime if you could tell me the name of that complex that's the type of area and the type of amenities I would like and good on you for recognizing the things that you needed to change to keep yourself happy and productive only if more people could do that thank you if you can get me the name of that complex
It's called Cosy Beach View Condominium, they have a contact page on their website, pop that in on Google 👍
beautiful place do you get lonely on your own?
Hello. Please tell me from February 2 to March 11, 2023, is it possible to rent? What is the cost?
For a rental term that short you'll have to seek out airbnb and hope this condo is featured, as minimum contact from the sales office is 6 months 👍
i am brazilian / portuguese
New Sub
Thanks Tommy 👍
Its cool that condos are cheap, but what kinda jobs available for someone who only speaks english and what is the minimum wage per hour?
A Work Is VERY Expensive and Difficult To Get!
*Work Visa*
So can I live in a very beautiful condo or apartment spending 1000 usd month with bills included water ac light
It's possible!
How much would u spend in a month with food
I have a cost of living video on my channel, details everything if you want to take a look 👍
I think most people want to know what the rate for electricity is, not how much individuals pay because we're all different.
6 baht per unit, apologies, should have included this.
@@TravelGlitch Thanks for the reply. Looked like a nice place.
I guess my goal should be to find remote job in my country and move to Thailand to live like a king😂
LMFAOOOOOOO I totally understand that. I’m looking for online jobs too 😅
Whats the noise like in the apartment / area good sir? quiet is important to me but also hard to find 😂
Very quiet! Pratumnak is quiet in general, especially in this corner near Cosy Beach, never hear any bars as they're too far away (5 min bike ride)
There is no walk down steps to the beach 😂😂😂😂😂. Beach is about 5 blocks away.
How much is wifi ?
2500 baht install, then 1k per month, speed is 500mb/s upload and download
i always find if you rent a shitty cheap condo you end up wanting to spend alot of time out the condo because its shitty which costs you the extra money you would have spent had you gone for a decent condo
Great point! I spend a lot of time here enjoying the facilities, certainly get your moneys worth 👌
What area is this in? Considering moving to Pattaya.
This is in Pratumnak (5:31 for map)
Thanks - it looks great. Thank you for your videos, we are enjoying them.@@TravelGlitch
Watching this from New Jersey. My rent is $4200...
Ouch 🤯
I thought mine was bad. $1680 Ft. Lauderdale
How to book? Is it for one month rent 299 dollars???
299 is for a 6 month - 1 year contract. Some of these rooms may be on airbnb but keep quiet about that as airbnb and any rentals under 30 days are technically not allowed
How faraway from beach???
I show the route to the beach in the video 👍
damn, too late, cant seem to find a room there now at your price , only ones now are like £700 per month. pppffft, i can get a hotel at that price which gives free aircon, electric and room cleaning.
High season rates unfortunately. A lot of people get condo like this for a year rent in the low season which gets you out of traps like that
@@TravelGlitch it's not high season now, that ended last month, unless its changed since i lived there/
