@@SpaceCoastShane We were most interested in this model. But she said then wasn’t any where to see room dimensions, we can’t pick the lot, we can’t pick the color of cabinets, we basically buy them get what we get. Because everything is pre ordered. This all seemed very odd to me LOL. They have no models here to even tour. Because they are building the pre sold before the show models. She was supposed to email us a virtual walk through. Still haven’t heard from her. To be honest doesn’t seem like anyone we want to work with. However we know there are DR Horton homes popping up all over so maybe a different development location. This model here some have a basement. But she didn’t have much info on those either so she told us to drive to the construction site and just look because they should have the holes dug out and framed.
@@SpaceCoastShane See I didn’t know that because the DR Horton website says work with your builder to customize home. But I’m guessing that’s not the case for these developments. We just can’t possibly see making such an important purchase without physically seeing the home and inside. We are in Newnan GA
Argh. Forgot how much I LOVE that layout!! The community we liked the most only offered Rapallo's. Also 5/3 but no flex room. The downstairs bedroom is four feet from the kitchen. The loft is more of a large hallway with the AC closet right in the middle. So we turn up the TV which travels right downstairs... so that TV gets turned up. All sounds travel. Even in the back bedrooms. Been debating enclosing the open staircase and adding a set of French Doors off the downstairs hallway.
@@SpaceCoastShane no. Not yet. There's nothing available in Glen Creek subdivision. Were patiently waiting for Steve to let us know when things change. The Hayden or the Robie 2 would be something we would like to get into
The Cali “Extended” will be a great option for that. There might be some other floor plans that offer a larger covered lanai. Shoot me an email and I’ll see how I can help 👍👍 Shane@carpenterkessel.com
In my are it’s around $360K now. Seems like they go up every week or month. They were in the 200s back in Dec. Two weeks ago they were $334-ish. Beautiful home though!
Thank you! This video was 100 times more helpful than the actual sales office we stopped at yesterday! We are in Georgia though.

Great walk thru. It was very informative. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Are you looking at building with DR Horton?
@@SpaceCoastShane no I am not .My Wife and i recently built with them, and so far we have not encountered any major problem.
We bought a Hayden in Lake County, built in 2023. There are no hurricane pins/shutters. Also, the master shower doesn't come with any doors.
So does that mean you have impact windows then? If so, that’s a nice upgrade
Gorgeous home, thanks for posting🌸
Yw! Are you currently on the property hunt or just cruising?
@@SpaceCoastShane Just cruising, thank you.
Thank you for this video - direct to the point and informative. So helpful. :)
Glad it was helpful!
Solid video, solid beard. Thanks man!
Great video, thank you!! Do you know if all that you showed in this house comes standard or have there been any upgrades?
This is a DR Horton' "Express" community which means no upgrades are available e.g. granite.
Any with basements? DR has Hayden Basement home. Cant seem to find an online walk thru for it.
HOPEFULLY I'm in one of the houses in Tampa in about 7 months
Congrats! Have you already started to build?

Does Express or DR offer an extended Lanai option in Brightwater? Do you cover Fort Meyers

How much that house please????
I believe this one was listed for ~$300k. What market are you shopping in?

@@sunkissednae1985 we bought this exact model back in 2019 for much less than 300k. i think my plan is valued at 330k now.

@@SpaceCoastShane that's a ridiculous price for formica countertops and inserted tubs. Yikes.
I appreciate the honesty about the political correctness. Great video. It’s nice to get the dimensions.👍
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the comment 🙏
