It was nice seeing the home that you built. Our first new built home was DR Horton as well. And it was a good first home to build from. I know that you mentioned in the owners suite that you planned to put your bed next to the wall of the bathroom. We did that as well when we first moved into our home but quickly changed that because the person in the bed would be involved with all the things that go on in the bathroom while they were still in bed. And because my husband had such an earlier schedule then myself; it was very disruptive to my sleep. As well as any smells that may come from the room as well.

Nice home, and I think it's so important to have a bedroom and full bath or 3/4 bath on the first floor of a two-story home. Not only does it add character, but there's also a place to rest in the event of an unexpected illness or injury that might prohibit you from climbing stairs.

Very pretty!! You can always use the pantry for some larger appliances you may have, that you don’t want displayed or use very often. DR Horton does so many different designs in different area of the country. 💜
Thank you! Yes, we have a number of larger cooking appliances. We are actually trying to make a decision on if we need all of them 🤔. We wanted a home with lots of character and thankfully DR Horton shocked us with this beautiful option.
DR Horton does not build anything remotely close to this in our area of East TN. Most of what is here is square boxes under $250k and they are not nice at all

Thank you! We were shocked to hear how much standard. We did have quite a few upgrades. I don’t think we mentioned all of them in this video, so we will do a detailed video on upgrades and cost. Things like that faucet Lisa already wants to replace weren’t cheap 😬😅.

Hello new subscriber my husband and I are going to be looking to build in NCin the spring. Love the kitchen! My husband said an Island is a must... Love the stove this will be exciting to see how you set the home up....

We wanted a home with curb appeal, and this was the ONLY neighborhood with any type of curb appeal. We got lucky! 😅

The quartz is called "misterio quartz" and the wall paint is SW agreeable grey. The paint scuffs up really easily. It's a nice color, but we will likely have to paint the entire house with a non flat paint eventually.

I like your master ensuite, nice tiles. For the shower, you could change the shower head with a shower cord so you can shower better and able to clean your shower better too.

Beautiful home!!! 💕💕💕Changing the interior door knobs to blacks handles would really pull the look together. We live in Atlanta and D.R Horton is building everywhere.
We definitely want to change the knobs, but those prices 😪. We have to find a sale first….we have way too many doors 😅😅😅. Are you all looking to purchase a home soon?

Nice DR. Horton home I had a one level that I recently sold. For some reason they put standard mirrors in the bathrooms and to me that’s a focal point space. Just my observation, beautiful home though!!
Thank you! We actually asked for the standard mirrors because the price of the upgraded mirror was too much, in our opinion, and they looked dated. We eventually plan to either get new mirrors or spruce up the ones we have. We shall see.

Love the house DR Horton is building down the road from us can you tell me the name of your floor plan I will have to see if they building the same one here where I’m at in North Carolina
Hey, our floor plan was designed specifically for our neighborhood. Unfortunately, you won’t find it anywhere else. But definitely find something you like. We visited a lot of communities, each had their pros and cons.
