Very good video and show of the car. Although way too expensive for a 1/10 scale brushed non adjustable RTR.
this exactly and being the hoonicorn brushless should have been the only option.
Honestly just buy the body and slap it on a better 1/10 drift/touring car

i wish Traxxas or Arrma was licensed to make this car. either of them would have made it 6S and 60+ MPH. this is robbery at that price, with a brushed power unit. they should be embarrassed

Thanks for covering tire compatibility. I listened for this info, through 2 other vids, and somehow, reviewing a car with a "Destroy All Tires" sticker on it, they didn't think to cover tire interchangeability.🥴
For a mere $150 or so more the Arrma Felony wins ! once you own and drive a Felony youll never go back the blistering speeds, handling and drifting is just incredible. Arrma should have licensed a Hoonicorn version.
Yeah, Arrma is great for beginner, novice RC guys.
Really wish this car came with a center diff at this price point.

Calling it "all new" is far from the truth, as only the body (and, maybe, wheels) is new. The chassis, and everything in it, was available. Unfortunately, it's also 'brushed' (come on AE, give us 'brushless'). Ignoring those two points, this body looks awesome.

Just like the hoonitruck ; overpriced brushed with some pretty decals, you can buy this or the 1/10 Brushless Infactraction for the same money; its not even close.

A brushed Hoonicorn shouldnt have the name "Tire slayer" "The Hoonicorn V2 Tire savior" would be better 😁

I really prefer km/h, because kph should literally mean kilos per hour, because there isn't the m for meters, so that means there's no measure for the length.

Looks like you'll be upset for something out of your control then.
A few years ago we testing the Maverick cars to determine if AMain should offer them at our shop and our conclusion was, no, we should not. They had a few serious issues, like heavy suspension binding. Maybe it was an issue with the early cars and the current cars have the issues fixed? It's very possible the Maverick cars of today are much improved, but I don't know.
Side Note: The suspension binding was so bad, it inspired our "How to Fix Suspension Binding Video," staring a Maverick vehicle: th-cam.com/video/FLWNmYW7m-4/w-d-xo.html

@@AMain_Hobbies OK because I have one and it's a pain in the but and I dropped the controller and 2 wires are disconnected so now I have to get a new one but the suspension is fine on mine and I got mine at Christmas. If you do make a review of it then in the video you might need to say it is a money pit also can you put legends are made in one of your next videos please

It looks great but brushed what were they thinking. The actual car was upgraded to 1400 hp it's all about insane power but no this thing comes with a brushed motor. Should of had a great 4s brushless setup instead.

This car with a brushed motor costs more than the new ARRMA infraction 3S BLX 1/8 scale! The new 3s infraction has a top speed of 65mph + and looks even better! I don think this car lives up to the name "Tire slayer"
We can see the decals that are in the car, you can skip that two minutes next time
Arrma should have built this since their logo is the same as RTR logo. The price for brushed is to much.

$400 for a brushed 1/10 scale, they bumped their heads......
If this chassis wasn’t all plastic and actually was decent, this would be worth it. It’s team associated, they could throw in a good touring car chassis with this, a tt02 is looking better than this chassis.
Looks great but way way way too expensive for a brushed rc car it would be better if it was 250 dollars or make a brushless version of it
it should be way cheaper for what it is in my opinion. if it was cheaper it would be worth it. They should should just sell the body and not put it on some random chassis.

To be completely honest I wouldn't pay $150 for this, let alone $450. That kind of money should get you a LOT more bang for your buck than this.

Its overpriced and slow, its not a fun car at all.. You're paying for the name and that's it you're getting a $150 car for almost 400!! Skip this POS and get a TT02 Tamiya and have an overall better experience!!
