Hi. I'm looking for a new hard drive for my pc. I've actually already found a couple that I like but now I am wondering if it would make sense to keep the hdd that I have now and install windows, launchers and that sort of stuff on it, and only use the new ssd that I'd get to install games on. I play a lot of gta online and I'm told ssd's offer the biggest advantage on a large game like that. :)
I have an HDD currently that is 1TB I have windows installed on it as well as all my games, I want to get a 1TB SSD to install windows on as well as other games so I can have more storage. When I clone everything on my HDD to my SSD with everything on my HDD automatically delete? Or do I have to do that on my own.
It'll be slower, but there are different types of HDDs. Get a black HDD as they're are performance driven, so faster utilization for your programs saved there.

And lots of other stuff on there as well . I did take it in to a computer repair supply shop . But they only got 80 GB off of it . But a lot of it is empty folders . And how much will it cost to try to get everything off on to another external hard drive ?

I bought a 250gb ssd which isn’t enough to download all my games if i download it on the hdd it will be slower and not it wont use the ssd to load?
i need an answer too...
It'll be slower, but there are different types of HDDs. Get a black HDD as they're are performance driven, so faster utilization for your programs saved there.
once I installed a second SSD , my hard drive was no longer recognize, any ideas on how to fix it?

I am having a problem with my external hard drive . I cannot get it to load on my computer . I have a 4 TB hard drive that I can not get off . It seems to run just fine but it can not detect it on my computer when it is plugged it . And I really need to get my files off of it . I have like family photos and videos on it . And lots of other stuff on there as well . I did take it in to a computer repair supply shop . But they only got 80 GB off of it . But a lot of it is empty folders . And how much will it cost to try to get everything off on to another external hard drive ?
