Hi, Antonio, I'm getting real pleasure while listening to you! You are just amazing! I'm studying English and Italian at university, I'm just ending the first year of studying. I've found out that you're native italian speaker. That's awesome! You're really helping me in getting those English speaking skills as well as Italian knowledge. Best regards from UKRAINE!
Idk if they thought you this yet but exclamation points are meant to be used to emphasize, well, exclamations. In other words anger, yelling, etc. Kinda like this... "I hate when people don't know how to use punctuation points correctly!"
Hi Antonio you’re channel is the best because every time I listen or watch any of them I learn something new not only in English language but also about the culture and you make the expressions sound easier to remember.
Good job. Watching your videos give me great pleasure. Could you please make a video about pronunciation? The words like: months, clothes, loathes, regime and so on.......
I'm a native English speaker, but I'm not nearly as good at explaining as Antonio, but I'll give it a shot. 'things' and 'stuff' have pretty much the same meaning and are interchangeable like 99% of the time in conversational situations. Just 'things' is a plural, so if you use 'things', you'd have to say 'these things' and NOT 'this things', whereas you would say 'this stuff' and NOT 'these stuff'. However, to be completely grammatically correct, 'things' are countable (e.g. apple on a table), while 'stuff' is typically not countable (e.g. rubbish in a pile). I hope that makes sense.
I have three prominent widow's peaks. One in the center, one on the left center and one on the right center but I'm a black female. In elementary, classmates called me Sonic even though my side peaks are further up. They don't go away after shaving and I'm not inclined to getting hair surgery. On the flipside, when my hair is flattened to the gods, and parted down the middle, you can't see it. They really make me stand out as my widows peaks shape is unlike the majority. Nobody on my both sides of the family have them. I would love to know where I got them from though. Somebody in my family tree about six or seven generations before me probably had them.
So if you look at images of Mephisto/Mephistopheles he is later seen sporting a prominent widows peak. I have a theory that the funeral fashion of the windows peak crossed over into discussions of the occult thanks to persecution of widows during the witch trials in Germany. The widows peak as funeral fashion was around at the time and the story of Mephistos was also coming into prominence. These two ideas would combine to create the iconic image of cultist or people in secret societies wearing beaked hoods much like in the new game cult of the lamb and the classic assassins creed.
In Japan we called “Fuji bitai” meaning a forehead shaped like Mt. Fuji. It’s symbol of beauty!!
