I know! He was banking on them making such a wild leap in logic and they absolutely did.
They really ran it by immediately deducing his two viable paths were due south or due north, and then not asking South vs North. Wouldn't change much of he's still on the north (which is likely since at 30:00 we see a German sign), but still an obvious move. Much better than the politics question for sure

I actually live in Zug. And I think it's incredibly funny to see those guys here.
And I can tell you this much, lil Bro definitely isn't in Steinen.
If I don't miss my mark, he's in Merlischachen, staying at the Schloss Hotel.
Since I don't know how exactly they will butcher the pronunciation, I've no clue what word he gave to rhyme with it. But he's definitely at the Vierwaldstättersee, opposite side of the mountain Rigi.
Awaken was the one they didn’t rhyme and it kind of matches it.

That hotel is definitely cute. The whole town looks really awesome to be completely honest.

Well, there should be a small grocery store nearby which should be in his allowed radius still (about half way between the hotel and the train station), but that's about it.

I love reading the comments of locals recognizing their hometowns. I like that this game is an international game.
The boys are already filming the next season, but I have a great idea for the season after that!
Ticket to ride!
They should play ticket to ride in Europe. They can select over a hundred major cities that are within a day's travel, solely travel by train and the first team to get to a city and do a challenge there, gets to claim the town. Then they can have missions, just like in Ticket to Ride, which get them extra points, like connect some cities, longest line of cities that are connected, etc.
They can bring in more people to play, like their former guests, and play for a whole five day week. It could be combined with Go, as in, if they surround a city with all the other cities that they've claimed, the surrounded city is also theirs. (This can be done cause most cities will only be connected to two or three other cities on the list)
The winning team would be the one that has the most cities and extra missions at the end of the week.
Perhaps they could also reintroduce the challenge mechanic where a team can try to steal a previously claimed city with a challenge, like they did in connect four.
I bet these guys could pull off such a game and it would be awesome!
They could call it "Ticket to Go Ride: Europe"

Personally I think they should do a season modelled on the board game Scotland Yard instead. It's a game of one person hiding(Mr.X) with multiple chasers. transportation options/tickets are limited but Mr. X has to reveal his location to the seekers after a set number of moves(uses of transportation). It would be lots of fun and it'd be cheap to film since it's only in one city.

The fact that you managed to slowly gaslight me into believing it's near Zug, even though as someone living here I immediately recognized the actual location from the mountains. I actually had to go back and look at the scenery again to verify I wasn't going crazy.

Hi guys, I think that you should consider checking out Czechia/Czech republic. We are the country with worlds highest density of railway network, trains lead pretty much everywhere. You can get to every small village using public transport. We are also known for our train delays, so it might mix up the game so it will be less predictable and more fun for us to see you struggling waiting for the trains 😂. I hope that you will visit us in some of future series, can't wait to see you here, you are the best!
But there isnt that much trafic, look at Hospental. Maybe 1k pop? 1 train every 30 mins. Here (Slovakia) even 20k towns might only get one train per hour. But yeah youve got nicely interconnected network. I wish i could meet and help hide/escape/give advice to Adam/Ben (sorry Sam). Im always looking out for them when im at a train station.

I live in Zug and its crazy to recognize every place they want and it was realy fun to watch.
Not only JL is highly entertaining and is one of my favorite channels here, just gotta respect youtubers who blur out and don't show random people who are not the part of the game. It should be standard but sadly isn't.
Technically speaking, no law requires them to do that, since it's legal to not ask a captured person for permission to he captured when they're part of the crowd and not the main focus of the image, but it certainly shows their dedication, since it definitely takes a lot of editing time to blur all the faces out

He‘s in Merlischachen, I live in Küssnacht, the town to which Merlischachen belongs to (that‘s why there‘s no town house there, it is in Küssnacht). Quite funny to see Ben here, I‘ve immediately recognized the little tower of the Schloss hotel.

The actual hungarian word is zug, not zúg, zúg means buzz. Zug means nook in hungarian. Also fun fact, google translate is giving the wrong translation for zúg.

Yes, they assumed this when they decided that Ben did a mistake with the rhymes. In retrospect, it turns out that this is a major blunder on their side. They even said Zug would be too obvious, but still they assumed Ben went there

Ben is clever and that is his secret along with his tendency to just do something random (helped by a rat or not) on occasion just to trip Sam and Adam up.

Did you guys upload episode 3 by accident, and also unfinished? lol just watched it all and it ended on a HORRIBLE cliffhanger
Before watching the video (so i am up to be positively surprised) I want at least one of them to actually stay in the same place to toy with them and watch them as they are travelling away and their faces when they end up back in the same place... (also maybe just walk for the 2.5 hours to make it stupidly out of the way) XD
But it is extremely risky since if they ask for a pic of the train station it will immediately give it away.
Also, if they are within the hiding zone then photo questions can't be completed. So any photo question would kill the plan (and they would need to stay within range of the train station as mentioned in this vid, so no walking into the wilderness)
They said in this video that the hiding zone has to include a train station, so walking out into the wilderness wouldn't be a viable zone.
To be fair, going to the closest town over might work. The seekers will think the hider wanted to go as far away as possible and they will be be fooled.

Already said this under the last video but it’s true here too: It’s so cool to see this series in Switzerland, recognizing so many places (I stayed in the same hotel Adam stayed in), and seeing you discover my country through such a cool experience with that game. I hope you enjoyed it here!

As a swiss this is amazing: first episode the hider was in the area were i did a lot of my military service and where i go ski touring in winter. The second episode the first frame of the hider: my favourite swimming spot right next to my hometown!

Photos should definitely cost 20 coins. They're at least that valuable, and the number ending in a 5 when none of the other purchases do, throws a wrench into the buying system for hiders unecessarily. 3 photos without a dice roll in reward is rediculously overpowered.
I gotta say as fun as Tag and Racing across countries can be this version of Hide and Seek y'all have come up with has got to be the BEST game yet!! PLEASE! Make more of these! A few days ago i got the first episode of this serie recommended, after that i fell in love with the channel. I immediately binged 2 seasons. What amazing videos, the editing is super good, i love the voice overs and explanation throughout the video keeps everything clear and entertaining, the concept is amazing and the dynamic between you guys is super fun to watch.
