What an adventure this was!! Did you have a favorite spot? Leave it in the comments below!!
In fact, how many of you have been to Kobe or Tokushima? Any spots that you love that you would recommend? Drop em below!!
And next week... well I guess you'll just have to wait and see! But let's just say... it's going to be 🔥!

Ah this was beautiful as always. I have major travel envy. I've been ziplining before, and you're right, the sound is the scariest part. The foliage was so beautiful when you went. I liked the sand pillars, I've never seen that before. Here is to more adventures!! :) Thanks Norm!

Aloha Norm, I love being outdoors with you! I would like to see more of the river gorge, forest, and the ferry ride. The opening made me laugh inside because when I woke up at about 5am HST, I was dreaming of & then thinking of making a grown up playground where you could fly like a superman, do climbing & stuff! Then you open with a fun course with a zipline! Really fun! Being inside so long, I have missed the sounds of the trees, birds singing, cooing, or cawing, water running in streams, the rustle of the leaves under foot, crunch of patches of icy snow, the echo in the woods! I miss the smells of the forest, the duff on the forest floor, & the river! Your photography is beautiful, you bring my mind & soul out into where ever you go! You are appreciated! Take care, love to you, your friends & your big Ohana, Kai

Outdoor onsen are THE best. Yummy looking kaiseki. I've always thought a zipline course would be a blast, but I'm also afraid of heights and never know when I'm going to be hit with a major episode where I literally freeze in place. Looks like you had a soothing, relaxing trip. The more you travel Japan, the more favorite spots you accumulate :). I haven't been to Kobe or Tokushima yet, but they're fast becoming higher To Visit places on my list. I like Takachiho, Oirase Gorge, Nikko, and the Lake Kawaguchiko area (had an awesome wild bird feeding experience at the ice cave). Next week can't get here fast enough. 🔥 You say?

Love your videos as always, MMM ADVENTURE. Never been in these areas of Japan before! Your videos always make me want to explore every corner of Japan if i get the chance to haha. Great inspiration! Also, my favourite spot is that bridge that was shown in the last bit of the video! It has this really enchanting feel to it and reminds me of something i saw in an anime (i think it's Mushishi, really good)! Sadly, i'm afraid of heights and it would probably take me forever to cross that bridge if i tried haha. Looking forward to your next one!

They've removed the "HD" tag from the 720p videos during the summer and they've become really badly compressed, so though I usually watch things non-fullscreen on an 1080 display, I had to switch to watching the 1080p stream and let the browser squish it. So... looks like they haven't been treating 1080p streams well either? (I mean the forest scene is understandable, too many little details are just hard to store in most video formats (without a massive bitrate spike), so those tend to get kinda crappy (Tom Scott has a great little video about that btw))

  • @amycole3403

You know you really enjoy a TH-cam channel when a windstorm knocks out your power & internet for 2 days and you're just mad you can't watch Toyko Lens! But I'm baaack!🌸 That rope course looked like it was a blast, and the sand pillar and gorge areas were really beautiful. Thanks for always letting us come along.🤗

I'm having trouble deciding whether the guy who designed the "Forest Adventure" is a genius or a sadist!
1:26 "I will say, though, if you are afraid of heights this is NOT the activity for you!" Understatement of the century! :-)
You have such a great eye for beautiful sights. Every part of this video is beautifully shot.
4:24 - 4:35 You apparently have the power to change the weather. You must only use this power for good!
7:42 "I genuinely feel fortunate to have lived in Japan for well over 10 years and to still be this excited to be here." That sums up what's great about you and your channel.

Lovely, lovely Shikoku. There was a beautiful swimming hole on the Kamo river near Saijo, Ehime that my then boyfriend ( now husband) took me many years ago not long after we had met by chance on the streets of Matsuyama. We are from NZ so we have nice rivers here, but this was gorgeous. It was a hot summer day, everyone else was at work or school, cicadas were deafening, the water was blue and cool. It was nearly 30 years ago but such a vivid memory.

Another great video !! 🇯🇵 I’ve visited Japan around Christmas time every year for the last 15 years, but sadly can’t come this year because of Covid. Missing it

I've been watching your videos for ages, and always love the effort, research and stories told. I only just realised I was not even subbed. It just popped up always cause of other TH-camrs I watch. So apologies! I have clicked the sub button now

This place looks beautiful 😍. I love rope courses, they are a blast to do. Also your voice really reminds me of Ryan Reynolds

A place that is a must to visit for me, love the nature (as always) and those tiny and narrow streets are my favorites.
Thanks for the exploration Norm, always appreciate it.

Beautiful, all of it! And thanks for the left over right tip -- just this morning I was putting in a robe and thought, if this were a yukata I'd have to Google which half faces out; I remember last time I wore one in Japan I didn't and then I found out afterwards that I'd done it all wrong!

Stunning cinematography, as usual. Thank you for taking us on this beautiful adventure! We plan to come to Japan, hopefully, next year... and now have to consider putting Tokushima on our itinerary.

We have something like the ropeway adventure in Malaysia called Skytrex. Would really love to try this one too. Love the autumn colours. The campsite was just 😍😍😍. Guess the ropeway adventure prepared you for the vine bridge over the gorge lol.
