When foreign tourists think of Japan, they usually think of the big cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, etc. But it's the countryside where the hidden gems are found. The people are extremely nice and warm, historical buildings are everywhere, nice sceneries, great food, etc. Thanks for this video!!

There was one person who actually lived in the southern parts of Japan and kept complaining about it. They didn't speak good Japanese at first, were really emotional, and judged the entire country on that one experience. It's like judging the entire USA based on Detroit.

That place is beautiful! The warning about bears lol seems like a staple in Tokyo Lens exploration videos (except when in cities unless....). The view from up high looks really good but it also seem scary to be that high. Those photographers at the very edge are so dedicated and brave and it makes me wonder how long they've been doing that to not feel fear. Old backstreets have this strange refreshing feel to them whenever I watch your streams just walking along it. I don't know why but it makes me feel like I wanna walk around aimlessly outside, too.
There are so many stingers lol. That's why one should never stop watching until youtube recommends the next video.

Two things stood out to me:
    1) The gentleman we see in 16:49 looks exactly like Hayao Miyazaki in the NHK documentary (when he goes to a beach to relax)
    2) I saw how beautiful it is the Gujo Hachiman area, but what's the smell like? The fresh air, the moss walls and the feeling of running through a "maze". Just imagining thatt makes me fell a bit lighter.

I really want to visit this place! It looks how I envision rural Japan perfectly. Also, I love the outro clip....just 2 bros smashing down a couple of slices.

I’m really excited to see your videos in the more remote locations of Japan. I can’t drive (I have no depth perception so it’s a terrifying prospect) so I’d genuinely never get to experience these trips personally. The camper looks really cozy and well appointed! I love that you capture remote areas as well as densely populated spots such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka on the Explore channel too. This was super fun and warm video!

Those giant fences I think are snow fences, they kind of just collect snowdrift to stop extra snow from building up in bad spots and reduce chance of avalanches depending where they're placed
