It will work, you will have the wire's for the option, but they maybe be tucked away, all the wire harnesses are the same Kia doesn't spend extra money to make different wire harnesses, So, even though you Forte doesn't have a certain option, it will still have the wire harness for it, you will have to "Look" for the connections for it, as they will simply be hidden or tucked away.
I have a 2012 Kia Rio with standard side mirrors that only have heating, is it possible to buy the Led mirrors from a higher spec model and will they work with just plug and play?
They have sequential front turn signals. I have them installed on my car, but same deal with this, plug isn't the same but I got it rigged up without cutting anything. Looks sick. I just need this and wait for them to make a rear and I'm chillin'.
It voids the warranty if the original electrical harness is modified or altered (cutting it). I just did mine today and you can use a small connector meant for motorcycle led turn signals as a connector just clip the small ridge that locks in a tab and it’s a perfect fit
