Hey by the way with the shoutouts thing, I'm not sure if you know this but one of the guys you commented to awhile back, wasabi cars has a fairly big channel of his own, where he does car spotting in japan. as I came across him purely by chance when he found a bunch of muscle cars in japan or aulstralia of all places that showed up in my suggestions.

Amesie! It's been too long. I do believe the last video I saw was of you digging this very Saab out and putting it on a trailer. Great work on the Flintstone's conversion of the Saab. There's only one way to take the following, and that's in a good way. I'm noticed a massive improvement in the production of your videos. Smooth camera, tighter editing, etc... Great stuff.... as is that rust converter.
Please be aware of welding/grinding splatter on your car's windows. My dad was also repairing rust on his 96, but ended up noticing it when everything was done.
Looks like a big job, worthwhile though. I hope you are using hearing protection, I only say that because I damaged my hearing angle grinding old cars some years ago.
That frontal area rot is a real weak spot as it (obviously) joins the power train to the car. Back in the day I had the misfortune of seeing the remains of a Saab 95 wagon, it had got broad sided and the front clip tore off from the car, it was brutal to see. So due diligence here my friend in sorting this out as I am sure you will get it back to strong and healthy. I had my share of pre model 99 Saabs, I may even have some parts around, like heater core, relays etc. I'd have to look

I know your restore is several years old and I started watching long before I acquired the same model from a family member back in June 2021. The previous owners can not find the key so I have been trying to source one or just use a screw driver. In the mean time I have been pressure washing and removing seats to address the rust issues on the Sabbie. I learned something new every time I rewatch your videos about your Saab. i have a small rust spot in the back of my beetle not all the way through (spare tire area) was gonna sand it and put rubberized coating back on it. would that acid be better and do you object to rubberized coating for rust protection and can you use the acid on the underside of the car?
Rust Mort is great stuff! Paint it with Por15 after it dries. Will not rust again! 2 gallons on my Cadillac so far. Check out my videos on it. Nice Videos you have
Hey Amesie! Been following your videos for a while now, you're doing some amazing work! I do own a Saab 9000 myself, 1998, anniversary model that has hardly gone any miles at all. It's almost completely rustfree except for one spot on the right front, (where they always rust). My question is, is there a good way to fix that front screen? I don't have that many tools to work with. My fear is that I will have to try to find a completely new screen but that is sadly quite expensive. It was this car at the show, I wanted it to be as yard find fresh as possible it was a hit.

Sand it then a bit of acid to convert the rust then coat with whatever you like.
