One important spring decision is ebikes suffer with ground clearance and to get the sag allow less so a heavier spring so you don't ground out all the time and lesson pedal strike's. Very important it can cost more but coming from a normal mtb to a ebike mtb that's what I found. Also the Fox orange springs lose some of there spring ability over time so I went with the heavier spring instead of the bling!
@ OTTER MTB TECH I have A (2021-2022) Fox Factory 38 Grip2 170MM , with 2 tokens , an a (2021-2022) Fox Factory DHX2 170mm . Does it matter which order I start my setup Process. Fork first or shock?. Also I’m Like 215 to 223 pounds and a beginner semi -aggressive rider I’m on stiff 27.5 carbon whoops and 2.6 Super trail magic Mary’s front and rear IS A Fox 650 Spring a little over sprung for an Enduro all mountain rig? THANKS👍👍👍 IN ADVANCE
Yeah I realized full fast high speed rebound basically takes that part out of the equation and you only have to set up low speed rebound, high/low compression. Much easier to tune. Funny you ended up doing something similar. Had to go from sprindex to my mrp progressive coil because the sprindex isn't really progressive and I was bottoming it out even being oversprung with full high comp. Dialed with the mrp now.
Cheers. I have a MRP 600-750 love it. Advanced Suspension Setup MADE EASY th-cam.com/video/hKTcgYAW-sQ/w-d-xo.html Try the 3 position system with the rebound win
Personally i set up both my rockshox sdlx coil ult rc2t and my bomber cr very similar to each other rebound pretty much fully open on the bomber i do run fully open rebound the same on compression. On rockshox im 3 from quickest it feels the best this way
DHX2. Alot more adjustment. It's actually my favorite shock. Follow Fox's recommendations for the settings. Having too fast of rebound is not what you want..
I bought a 2023 rockshox super deluxe ultimate coil and it is an amazing shock you wont believe how just few click could be night day diference.

The compression LSC can be revalved to be between screw setting and climb switch just ask when you getting a service in warranty for example.
Hmm
Can you do this same type of video for the RS super deluxe coil? (The one before the new vivid coil)

That’s why I use 127mm cranks
Totally right. The pedal strikes on the Rocky got allot worse with this shock. Someone else pointed it out to me.
DHX2 vs ttx22. Which is more fun ?
Can you please do this kind of video for the new RS vivid coil. I have no idea if my setup is right. Thank you!
Same concept except the compression 1 click from middle soft,

@ So set sag on shock and fork and both rebound and compress in middle setting then Bracket it RIGHT???
Sag both all adjusters in middle dial shock and fork in shock then fork
@ OK THANKS !! I’ll let u know how it goes !!

Can do a vídeo about The cane creek Double Barrel inline cs.
Yes soon
The main problem with the DHX2 (and most coils in general) is that you’ll always be trying to make your fork feel equally as good!

@@OtterMTBtech watched it, intrigued by it, keen to try this approach out! I’m on a Zeb Ultimate w/Smashpot I’m trying to make the DHX2 keep up with.

Dhx2 is better. 2nd comment. If you want the best performance fastest possible with compression slowing it down
Graceful jumping for a 220 pound otter.
The Rocky looks amazing, too bad you don't like that motor...
I'm too broke for a dhx2
