You can also fix the lag by applying a "Video delay" filter to the faster camera source(s). Select the faster camera source in one of your scenes, right click on it to bring up the context menu, select filters->audio/video filters-> + -> video delay and then play with the delay settings.
For getting all of the cameras in church in sync, I recorded a close up video of my hands clapping, and set the video to auto-replay on my laptop, with the laptop on the altar where all 3 cameras had a good view. I then created a scene in OBS with all 3 cameras and aimed all he camera at the laptop. I ended up adding a "video delay" filter to each camera source and played with the delay to get everything in sync.

Thanks for this.... the YT algorithm lead me here, and honestly you just saved me like 200bux I was getting ready to pull the trigger on an OBSbot tiny cam... but came across this vid and just pulled out an old Note 5 I had in a drawer.... the picture from this is phenomenal compared to the C920 cam I had hooked up. It looks like a great option, all this apps have latency but you can correct this by adding delays to audio an video, there are a lot of tutorials on how to sync multiple cameras with audio in obs, it is actually really easy to do.

Wow, it works. Did not expect that. I had to reboot my phone though, the ip address it gave me was really weird so I just turned off my phone and turned it back on and it gave me a good ip address.

Yes you can change video settings in OBS.
I would recommend doing a audio delay to get it synchronised with video.
We make use of it for church too. Sometimes we run up to 3 cameras to get multicam.

That was a very cool plugin. You can also switch between the phone Front, rear and Wide Angle cameras along WB, EV, Focus and Zoom via Browser Dock in OBS Studio with Pro Upgrade. It's definitely worth buying.

You can use "Sync Offset" under "Advance Audio Properties" for your mic to delay it a bit until the video frames show up if using WiFi. I prefer to use USB 2.0 ports for my DroidCam input so that it is as fast as possible. Video and audio are pretty much synced for me always doing it this way.
Absolutely correct Skuger! I will highlight these settings on my next one. Per the commenters goals he is looking to film activities with multiple cameras in a church. USB could work but the guy would need SUPER long cords. I need to research if WIFI is possible at those distances. We'll see how it goes. Thanks man.

How were you able to pop up the tablet screen beside you, were you using link to windows? I know Samsung devices have that feature but would like be knowable of alternatives just incase if you used another way
Initially I was using Letsplay. play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apowersoft.letsview It started to give me trouble so I just recorded the screen and imported the video from my tablet on the second shot.

Of course, I have Sophos, it runs silently in the background. It's excellent. I do mention scanning this stuff in my recent videos. Did your scanner find something funky? Let us know.

Hello Scott sir, I want to know that how do gamers record videos. I am sure they use OBS but sometimes they add effects to their camera recorded video. For example, if they are recording screen with OBS then how do they add effects to their videos and full screen it
Hey Scratch Tech. This is a great question because the answer is a big one. First off the effects are usually initiated with a hotkey. For example if you wanted to the change the hue of the game video to red all you have to do is create a filter and attach it to a hotkey. Then you can click a key and make the video red any time you want. If you download and install the Move Transition plugin you can do TONS of killer animated effects. I just can't get this to work over wifi or USB. Enabled USB debugging on Samsung, installed Samsung drivers, IP address is the same, port is the same, it's not blocked in Firewall. I ended up using scrncpy which seems a lot simpler.

I have used the normal droidcam software on my pc. And used it as a video capture device. No watermarks
No obs version of the app or plugin in obs.

yes but you cannot add multiple droidcam cameras for it because it only does one client. Unless you want to use sandbox for it to duplicate. Plus, it's just $5 for the full version. Why hesitate?

The video that mentions the "Crispy Clean Background" is about creating graphics with transparency. It really does not apply to green screen also known as "Chroma Key" The solution to good green screen is lighting. I purchased 3 cheap lamps and they do a fantastic job. www.walmart.com/ip/Bayco-SL-300-8-5-Inch-Clamp-Light-with-Aluminum-Reflector/14003467 I also purchased remote control wall switches. This allows me to turn them all on at the same time with one button push. It makes life so easy.

I just found out that I can use my Moto G100 as a webcam in OBS without the need for a plug-in it has something to do with the feature "ready for " like Sam. Dex & now that I have Android 12 it works through wifi no need for HDMI to USB-C cable's no IP address no port # 🤷🏻♂️

Maybe you you can help me. I wasn't able to get under 6 to 7 seconds lag when I hit the stream button on OBS, but if I just hit screen share on facebook and did not hit stream button on OBs I was able to get down to 1 second and do a live stream. Why is that?

I tried downloading and installing Scene Switcher
However, It didn't go well, It was because I am not as smart as you, and I downloaded the zip file and tried opening it in the OBS folder #Plug-ins
It didn't work, and now I can't delete the files completely. I don't think any harm was done because everything seems to be working correctly.

Some antivirus blocks the application. You need to allow it or deactivate the webshield(if avast) to use.

How does this compare to the NDI plugin? I feel like this would be less reliable
I also think you should do a new video on the NDI iPhone app. It has changed a lot since your last video (Im talking about "NDI HX Camera"). It has a few settings you get to toggle, but it also tells you when you are on preview, program, or not even being looked at within OBS. It's great for camera ops that aren't right next to the OBS computer. Also, OBS can send out an NDI feed to other devices on the network with the plugin. This can come in handy when you have a nursery or something that needs to see what's going on in the service. You can even just pick a specific scene to output as NDI so they can always just see the camera scene. NDI is utilized in the professional world, so I think it would be cool if you talked about it more.

I'm asking sir if for example I have a wifi router and connected my laptop to it via LAN cable and my smartphone connected to the same wifi router via wifi, will I be able to use droidcam OBS? Asking this because I tried this set up with ivCam app but my laptop can't connect to my cellphone. The laptop must be connected via wifi too in order to use ivCam. The reason I am connecting my laptop via LAN is to have stable connection when Live Streaming our Sunday Holy Mass. Sorry for the very long explanation. Thanks in advance 👍🙂
@@TheDimpledEngineerandmyDogs It should work wired or wireless since it is searching based on the IP address. As long as everything is going through the same router it should work (in theory). Maybe a problem could be caused if your router puts out a 5 GHz option, but it shouldn't.
You can also get a dongle that allows you to connect your phone to an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection. Just look it up on amazon
@@TheDimpledEngineerandmyDogs in my opinion, using the NDI plugin with the NDI HX Camera app would be more stable, and is closer to a "professional" solution. It works with wired and wireless simultaneously cause I've used it that way before.

Alright, thank you so much for the info and suggestions. Been looking for a solution for wireless camera because we will be placing the camera at the back of the church to be able to capture the entire area, and the laptop and router is located near the front area, so connecting the camera via USB from the laptop is kinda hard 😁

And to the droidcam itself. It is routable to the Windows via their own software and then it acts as a standard camera device you can attach to the OBS without any plugin and also without any branding like any other Usb cameras, so the plugin is unnecessary. Looks like the plugin is made only to ease of connecting to the obs but, ehh.
