- This iVcam USB Tutorial explores how to set up two phones so that their cameras can be used as desktop webcams. I love your videos. I have 5 instances of iVcam running but I cannot get 5 iVcam windows open. I always have to cycle through the cameras/phones and if one goes down I have to hunt for it. I have set OBS up on 3 computers now, this is the newest one, but I have never been able to get the 5 windows associated with each camera. I learned a lot in this tutorial, and even though I have set this up numerous times, you showed me some additional stuff. Brilliant.
I have been trying to find out how to do this for soooo long. You gave the exact info I was looking for!

Did you try 3 camera Sir? It would be great i lf you could run 3 cameras. You could stream with a wide shot, and two close shots, lets say for an interview. You could take a separate audio from a usb card via an audio mixer with two mics. Great stuff. This mass media gear is easing things up.

Thank you very much for this video and the other video that is link to this one, very helpful information and very well explained, I was having so much problems with my live streaming and the lagging. I setup my 2 LG phones as you showed in this video, I do have a Logitech C922 but something is wrong with the settings because it gives me a lot of lagging. Do you have a video on how to setup C922 with OBS and no lagging?

There are two subjects that I have avoided due to their super high levels of complexity. One is sound. The second one is connection settings. Connection settings is a challenge because my settings will be different with your settings due to your connection speed. I will circle the wagons and dig into it. Thanks for the great comment.

One thing to note from this video is that I have noticed if you only have 2 instances of the driver the phones will sometimes fight to try and run on the first driver (happened to me a couple of times) so I think that may be the reason why they say have 3 instances of the driver

I need your help with the step to find driver_install.bat at the 2:00 minute mark. I cant find it. I am using a pc windows 10 to run iVcam. I want to install 2 drivers but it wont let me. There are only 2 items in the folder, not 14 like in the video. I want to do 2 cameras. Is there a way you can help me on this?

Does this only work with iphones or does it work with android aswell?
The instructions say that it will work with both Android phones and iPhone. When budgets get larger at my channel I will buy an android so I can test it. Chas, that's a damn good question I did not think to take a look at that data when hooking it up. My computer was not acting weird when I was using it. That's me thought. If you have an older computer I'm sure there's a chance that it will bog it down a bit.

Hey bro long time no talk. On the multiple phone used with ivcam. Now you can do 30 phones.. My dilemma this time is that when I go into my program files there is no driver_. Bat Bat. iVcam allows for either USB or Wifi.
Thanks for the vid. I had a question and couldn't seem to find an answer. I have an HP desktop and want to use my old Galaxy S7 as a webcam via the USB method. Does the iVcam software allow you to use the microphone for audio from the phone? Or do I need to buy a separate microphone for audio? Thank you.
I have learned that separating the camera from the mic is a necessity. Mic proximity will not be the same as camera proximity for good sound. If you serious about YT buy a USB mic.

Hello Scott, the question is not about this video, but hope you would be able to help. Looking for a software that would allow me to mirror my screen from tablet to OBS via UBS ONLY! I am not a gamer, I teach hermeneutics online, and the setup thus far is Mobile phone (android) with ivCam usb connected to Windows10 laptop as a camera and tablet (android) screen mirrors to same PC though AirDroid. But the later doesn't work through USB. So, since I live stream from my laptop, sharing WiFi with AirDroid is not really working while best software to show hermeneutics is Driod app. Tried to install droid immulator on PC, but it consumes so much horsepower, laptop won't pull out OBS at the same time...
So I need to find a way to morror screen from tablet to pc while tablet it actually in airplane mode...

It's designed for phones for the most part. Sure you can use a webcam and a phone at the same time. That should not be an issue.
Help ! How (if at all) can you use you phone as a webcam ...via USB C ... and get power to the phone at the same time ? (My Galaxy S21 has only one USB port, and I can't find a spitter that will handle power and video.)
