Armageddon must be near . We have a pick he thinks is Unrivaled. Watched tons of your content and will continue to do so. I urge you to consider making content on Unrivaled companies as it seems to me your content here are on ones which are Rivaled. Maybe release content 6 months to a year after you reveal to your paid consumers this way they have a huge head start but give those who can not afford to pay for content a little help. Keep up the great work .
So true. I can only recall one other time in the last year an “unrivaled” company has been shared. (BAM) but…I’m not a subscriber. I’m not really motivated since his videos don’t have that many good companies worth investing in
FFH is an unabashed clone of Berkshire Hathaway which has produced annual returns of circa 20% over 60 + years. The key reason for the success of both companies is their huge and growing insurance float. This is free money! Fairfax has about $32 billion in float which creates the economic moat. My single biggest investment and very comfortable with FFH.
Thanks for sharing! IMO, you don't often find companies of this caliber at this valuation.

Short reports are typically like this that is why they rarely get featured in news. I watched the interview and there really was no meat in the argument so I did not bother reading the report. I am Canadian and I have considered buying Fairfax back in 2020-2021. I didn't pull the trigger because I could not understand their financials well enough to be comfortable investing plus there were other opportunities that were very low risk and high returns.
Didn't drop enough in my opinion. I looked at the accusations for recipe, quess, and exco. It seems muddy waters exercised a willful disregard for symmetric reasoning and lack of understanding of the cost method, equity method and consolidation methods of accounting for investments. I don't understand Ifrs 17 but neither does Carson Block!

To buy Fairfax shares in the u.s do we buy otc and pay commissions or go through the tsx somehow?
