    Shame the only Armenians we know are the Kardashians. THIS is the kind of people I want to meet. Down to earth, humble, beautiful and welcoming. So much culture. Love from Sudan.

    I love pasturma. My grandmother used to make it every year. The best beef tenderloin pasturma is made by Armenian butchers. In Greece where I live, you can find good and not overpriced Armenian pasturma.

    Bastirma means marinating in Azerbaijani. No offence, just a correct reference. Enjoy your meal.

    • @angamanu162
      @angamanu162 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No its not! azerbadjan has no language its called turkish. Turm is in armenian and means to marinate. You just use armenian words and everything armenian and you believe in the lies donmeh aliev tells you. Read history! Armenian Kingdom has been existing since the times of Shumer and you can find it on wordls oldest Babylonian map. But you cant find azerbadjan because there is no such country it was made up by bolshevik joos 100 years ago. Everybody knows it except you people couse you keep listening to donmeh aliev and hate armenians for no reason!

    • @AggieAze
      @AggieAze 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gidemnas There are many similar sounding words in number of languages. In this case it means food, which can be confusing for you. However in Turkish/Azerbaijani bastirma directly means pressing / marinating. You decide which language is closer to the dish name...
      When you are commenting the etymology, it should be based on meaning and references, not similarly sounding words. There are dozens of words that sound similar and with the same logic we can say pastor, pasture and pasturma are the same :)
      P.S. One of the oldest turkic scripts, Diwan Lughat al-Turk (year 1072) which is btw, literally a language book, demonstrates bastirma as a Turkic dish. Without any meaning twists.

      @@gidemnas Based on your logic, turks did not eat anything and did not have language before meeting armenians. 😃 Is there anything you took from turks in return or you only prefer teaching the nation who has built the empire how to eat? 😃 For some reason I have never heard of armenians speaking about something in their daily usage that belongs to other nations, especially turks. Maybe this is the inferiority complex and hatred? Oh sorry, how can a holy nation can be described with these words?! 😃😃
      I don't hate armenians, I just know your nature. I live next to Armenia (I mean temporary Azerbaijani lands that will return to its owner), so I have heard enough of your stories for over 40 years. And another armenian - "great historian, amazing storyteller, sharp linguist" who just came in to prove his/their worth does not change the picture. Until this point I tried to remain within respect boundaries, but thanks for mentioning about Stalin and an exact date of creation of one nation 🤦🏻‍♂️ This another time demonstrates that your personal level of stupidity is no different than your fellas. While You could have avoided this by minor critical thinking and research. Well, but its only good that you are so stupid to ignore the truth about your enemy.
      Keep dreaming, its only good for us and enjoy multicultural cuisine. I don't expect a respect from you in return.
