This kitchen is spectacular! It has the best feeling imaginable with the high ceilings, tall windows bringing in so much light, and then all the high end cabinetry and fittings, including your custom tiles. Nana’s painting is the finishing touch. Bravo to you two amazing people!

The Chateau Kitchen is absolutely gorgeous! The paint colours are perfect for this space. Everything from the panels, trim & especially the pops of blue in the hand designed tiles make this room exquisite! Can't underestimate Grammy's painting in this room, the inspiration for all the colours. It looks beautiful on the wall. It would be awesome to put some cobalt blue and white dishes in the glass door cupboards. Awesome job, both of you!!!

Hey, I've been watching this channel for a very long time without missing an episode. I will have to admit that yourself and Anna are very strong and hardworking people. I still can't believe how you manage the renovations, parenting, reception of guests,maintenance of the chateau and of course, putting smiles on our faces with amazing content!!! I watched an interview of a model that worked with Halston in the 70’s, and she described one of his offices as being colored in a warm neutral scheme that “made you feel good.” I feel like your kitchen color scheme has the same impact. Very nice.

So fun to see a summary recap. Reminds me of the monumental accomplishment this reno was. You know what I love about a super neutral base palette in an interior is that you can use accessories- paintings, furniture, plants, etc, for the color to make it come alive. I also love that Philippe wears boat shoes always because he is a sailor at heart. Bravo!
she did with the deep blue tiles. the paint on the island and that one inspiration painting on the wall. At times she will add flowers and fruit and acessories to the island and her dinging table. color there. She has see through cabinets and can add color or lack there as time goes on. It seems so warm and glowing. i really love it. i expect that other room off the kitchen will reflect something of the kitchen.

@ maybe the kitchen wasn’t functional as it was before because your kitchen is the backbone of your home and yeah I’m all for charm but I also want a charming kitchen that can handle my cooking which I do on the regular so upgrades are a must! Not like ultra modern but this style that Anna I believe that’s her name well she did a fine job and now she can really cook like Jacques Pepin!

i loooove these comprehensive timelapses and edits of a room from start to finish! so satisfying! its great also to get the regular week by week episodes where we can see specific details, efforts, and problems, but seeing it all synthesised is amazing!
You put your energy into every inch of this chateau and it's a positive vibe all over. After this project, you could be a chateu renovation manager for other chateau. Or even a designer interior. You have a really good taste on everything! ❤️

Admittedly I was totally wrong about the island color choice. I had it in my mind the room would be too dark during the months of low light with a dark colored island. However with the light stone tiles on the ground, the quartzite countertops, light paint scheme around the room, and the light reflected off the glass, tiles, and metal, the pop of color the island provides is perfect. Absolutely perfect! Well done.

It was nice to watch the transformation, all in one go. It is a stunning kitchen. However, I think it's lacking some depth of colour. I think the grey needs to be repeated or some of the blue from the beautiful tiles. Maybe an indoor herb garden??? There's something missing, a little sterile... at least when there's no one in the shot. But definitely a beautiful kitchen and not cookie cutter... even for a Chateau. ; )

Yes,the variation in colours and tones gave the room depth. Which is actually in the painting. This room is a character-free zone.

You managed to keep the integrity of the chateau intact, and make it look so bright and clean . I think that the original Chateau inhabitants would be thrilled. The kitchen has come together beautifully, marrying the practicality needed to perform its primary function as a food preparation space in the 21st century however in a classical country home style.
