To get a lower temp cooling fan switch, order one for a 86-87 3.8 Turbo Buick Regal. Hypertech used to sell them, probably not anymore.
Also, be sure to do the throttle body coolant bypass. It unnecessarily heats up the intake and robs power.

I drove mine yesterday, I need to do cap rotor and wires as it feels like a car with bad spark. Its a process thats for sure. Its more of a project than I was really wanting I may trade it or store it for a while. With the jeep done I have a porsche 914 mostly disassembled and ready for an outlaw restoration.

Turn the headlight knob it will brighten the dash lights.I replaced the switch on mine when the dash lights flickered good luck.from Chris 85 vette
