In most rpgs, goblins are just basic lvl 1 enemies that are easy to defeat. But this fella here looks like a secret lvl 80 post game hidden boss that could absolutely wipe the floor with my entire party.
His tribe was wiped out by the hero and his party, leaving him as the sole survivor. Since then he's been secretly training and stalks the hero, waiting until he is strong enough to exact his revenge.
I played this album In January with our Adventures in Middle Earth campaign. The party ventured into the Misty Mountains into the Goblin Gnaves. (Caves dug by goblins) to find missing/stolen children. The party loves the music and the creep vibes of “Goblin Cave.” Pure gold. I played it on repeat for an hour. They told me it made them feel claustrophobic. I also described horrible acts done to captives that they witnessed being taken into the caves from such a distance nothing could be done, but the Elf in the party saw it all.
Really strong King’s Field vibes, I absolutely love it. I’ve been throwing this on while I write campaign chapters for D&D or paint miniatures, it really inspires my work. Thanks for the awesome tunes
I never knew this kind of music existed to be honest....I am finding a lot of interesting genres on YT these past couple of days and I like it a lot....
I love "beyond the Mist" last winter i was going to work one morning listening to this the first time on my ear plugs... there was no one around due to the early time, no person, no cars,... just me marching through the snow while gray fog covered everything i felt like in a dream amazing that was
Goblin is pique. It's refreshing to see a form of sophistication and fitted armor on the creature. He takes good care of himself but still has mistrust of humans and other species all the same. He's kept to himself all of the time, it's gon his way for a while, he has never been swindled by a scam or pickpocketed by a thief in his time.

Awesome album.
Still my favorite dungeonsynth album. I don't know what you did, what dark god you praised, what sinister spell you cast, but this compilation has the most magical and immersive touch yet to be found across the connected face of this earth. Altitude... depths... shadows among the dark... this is what Cryo Crypt consists of.
actually tried my best finding similar music since this fits perfectly for my D&D campaign and setting. just can't find anything like it, kuddos to the composer. if anyone has similar references feel free to share, so i can fill my playlist until cryo crypt uploads more
Had this album saved for awhile and finally getting around to listening as a background for reading/writing and WOW. This shows talent and an artist at work and I love it. Keep up the amazing work!!
Eu tive um sonho em que eu era um goblin escalando uma montanha, provavelmente por causa deste álbum maravilhoso, e agora estou escrevendo uma história sobre isso, está indo muito bem :)
For what it's worth, It was a high time that Dungeon Synth got more attention and friction which hopefully spurs the creation of more good music such as this. All the good on your endeavors on the new label and let the Crypt gain depth and success in equal measure as your other channel!
I'm surprised at the strong narrative the music has. Legit feels like this is a soundtrack to a fantasy movie with a really expensive budget and the bad guy is someone famous.
Jesus Christ, this is just the perfect combination! Hypnotically atmospheric music and truly excellent visual design of the cover! Goblin knight is the best art I've seen among fantasy pictures. Subscribe and share from me😺
Great album my friend..really loving the fact you’ve expanded to another realm of music, this is awesome news…the album is great brother…thank you for your hard work and dedication to entertaining our minds …have a blessed night…laterz
I've never really got into Dungeon synth before but with your touch it actually works really well for me, I'm looking forward to what Mountain Realm will cook up in the future
I have been a fan of Cryo Chamber for years, back when the channel had just a few thousand subscribers. I have come to know artists who, today, I can say are among my favorites. A few months ago, I discovered the genre of Dungeon Synth and was fascinated by it. I hope this channel also grows and attracts artists of the highest caliber.
This is so sick, feels like the soundtrack of a nightmare that is terrifying yet captivating and hauntingly beautiful. Personally loved Side A, 'The King Lives' and 'Goblin Cave' are standouts to me. That being said the whole album is bliss.
I like it, players liked it too. Maybe some parts are slightly too 'melodic' and could use a bit more "industrial ambience" When some tracks get too much long a song, it gets distracting for roleplay. The volume isn't leveled either so a moody slow-burn ambient theme suddenly goes into loud techno intro on the next track Just 5cents from my group
I swear these Dudes would have a hayday remixing the Phantasm OST. Even if they made it more of a Dungeon Theme it would still be Horror-esque. Maybe more so 😳
sadly its AI. Its funny how every creative industry thinks AI in their respective department is bad, but uses AI for the other affected industries. Musicians using AI covers, coders using AI voicelines, artists using AI code and chatgpt, etc etc... no empathy for our fellow tradesmen.
Big inspiration for my upcoming D&D campaign is coming from this channel, keeo up the great work! I wish i could hang a print from your "Goblin war" album on my wall!
That right there is one of my favorite depictions of a goblin. To whoever drew that mad props dude.
The fact that it looks like Yoda in armour makes it even better
A good drawing it is mmmmmm
It's an A.I. rendering
@@del132 It can't be AI because the hands look realistic.
I also enjoy it because it depicts them as humanlike and being able to make things like weapons and armor rather than unintelligent monsters
Probably the best recommendation that the algorithm has given me this year so far.
In most rpgs, goblins are just basic lvl 1 enemies that are easy to defeat. But this fella here looks like a secret lvl 80 post game hidden boss that could absolutely wipe the floor with my entire party.
Or he is a battle-hardened and secret party member who becomes beloved by the entire party and saves the hero's life !
more like he's going to chop his own hand to bits with that sword grip lmao
RIP Slobad. Long live Squee!
His tribe was wiped out by the hero and his party, leaving him as the sole survivor. Since then he's been secretly training and stalks the hero, waiting until he is strong enough to exact his revenge.
His weapon of choice is a freakin' toothpick.
Came for the Cool Goblin stayed for the Great Music.
I think that's what drags me into these videos. the thumbnails are so cool!
Somehow I find this as, if not more, immersive than "traditional" adventure music. The 80s adventure vibes are strong with this one. Thanks Algorithm.
This gives me the feeling of old school dark Fantasy RPGs, like Arx Fatalis, Dark Messiah, or even Dungeon Master. I like it!
If I was looking for an old-style RPG like that nowadays, do you have any recommendations?
@@adbjr12Have you tried Dungeon Crawl Classics?
I think of Ultima and Wizardry, but somewhat darker and grittier
This album art further supports my theory that Yoda from Star Wars, whose species is never named, is literally just a Goblin with really high wisdom.
Min-max, I did! Also, level 250 am I.
...not to forget special powers..😊
And dextery as second attribute!
Nice Theory...
He "literally" isn't. Please look up what that word means.
Perfect background for Shadowdark, Forbidden Lands, or Dungeon Crawl Classics try-it-out sessions.

Oh man, I loved King's Field!
I always love playing this late at night while I play dota
The ringing in my ear fills me with a violent joy, a joy which cannot be quenched.
I never knew this kind of music existed to be honest....I am finding a lot of interesting genres on YT these past couple of days and I like it a lot....
"Far over the Misty Mountains cold, To dungeons deep and caverns old, We must away, ere break of day, To seek our pale enchanted gold."
i wish dungeon raids were real man; blasting this while your working your way through would be mythical.

was happy to see Simon opening a new Dungeon Synth label, then became curious about who the artist was.
lo and behold Simon strikes again
The Ring...destroy it we must.
The Force with us it is.
Fly we must.
Temple halls speaks to my soul, as we march through these great halls, remembering the great forefathers

THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT MUSIC AND ARTWORK!!
This Goblin looks like he could fit in Dark Souls
THIS is going on my D&D Playlist. You press this onto vinyl, I'll buy multiple copies.

this is crazy good
i always come back to see after my friend the goblin
beyond the mist is a gem and the mist afterwards makes it a perfect companion.
La perfecta proyección onírica-quimérica... Mística fantasiosa para deleite de nuestra infinita imaginación.❤
One of my favorite Dungeon Synth albums.
I find myself returning to this gem often.
this takes me to a time and place i'll never know and i love it so much.
Interesting! The music is quite uplifting even though the theme is dark… there’s a friendliness to it. A warm and friendly darkness.
Goblin Cave is something else! I love the Egyptian vibes I'm getting from it.
i always wanted to enter the dungeon synth music realm, but not touched the right spotfor me, until i hear this album, cheers! i'm a fan now!

Eu tive um sonho em que eu era um goblin escalando uma montanha, provavelmente por causa deste álbum maravilhoso, e agora estou escrevendo uma história sobre isso, está indo muito bem :)
Started looking up other dungeon synth albums. This one definitely stands out. It might be the best.
This was absolutely fantastic to listen to. I've listened to it a few times now and plan to continue to do so. Wonderful album.
i had to come here to see this goblin thing, its amazing
I get Age of Empires vibes from this one . Great music.
I've been listening to this album everyday ever since its release. I can't wait for the next tracks !

this would be some absolutely pimpin loading screen music for an rpg
I hope this label will be as successful as Cryo Chamber.
love the atmospheric journey. Goblin Cave was nostalgic, reminding me of home
Goblin music you can sleep to. Amazing artwork as well thanks
I have ADHD and find this music great for focusing on work. Thanks
Love Cryo Chamber and Atrium Carceri, so I'm really hoping this takes off. You can really here the classic DS influences in this album.
I just discovered your album today and I love it, it stimulates so much my imagination with the cover, the tracks names and of course the music itself
So excited for the work that's going to be put out under this label.
I loved Za Frumi so much. I'm so glad you are doing dark fantasy music and look forward to the rest of this label's offerings.
Incredible quality.
I'm surprised at the strong narrative the music has. Legit feels like this is a soundtrack to a fantasy movie with a really expensive budget and the bad guy is someone famous.
Fog sounds like something out of Phantasm
Really fun music, great for fantasy story drafting.
Yes! give us a vinyl PLEASE!!!!
Jesus Christ, this is just the perfect combination! Hypnotically atmospheric music and truly excellent visual design of the cover! Goblin knight is the best art I've seen among fantasy pictures. Subscribe and share from me😺
this kicks ass, its like a book for the ears. great work.
So this is Tangerine Dreams for nerds. Approved. Here for it.
This album is a really good ambiance album
This album is fire. Someone out there is playing a lit D&D session. lol
Great album my friend..really loving the fact you’ve expanded to another realm of music, this is awesome news…the album is great brother…thank you for your hard work and dedication to entertaining our minds …have a blessed night…laterz
Initially looking at the thumbnail, I thought that was some medieval darth Yoda 😅
Thumbnail reminded me of the first time I run into Tinkerer Gizlock in maraudon.
This was great! Loved the synths. It added a more sinister ring to my fond memories of Age of Wonders, Icewind Dale, etc. Subscribed!
Excellent release and I'm stoked about the new sub-label! Can't wait to hear more
Absolutely gorgeous, thank you for this!
Sounds like my ideal soundtrack to Vermis :)
Yoda has seen better days
I've never really got into Dungeon synth before but with your touch it actually works really well for me, I'm looking forward to what Mountain Realm will cook up in the future
Need to get this on a t shirt asap!
What a grim picture of Yoda!
Hope your channel gets traction. Love the album.
This took me way back to playing ‘Hocus Pocus’ on MS DOS. It really has an old school video game feel to it. Great work.
The fact the first level of this game was called temple halls has my head spinning with synchronicity.

Thank you very much for your comment, so I also know about "dungeon synth" !
have nice day!
a few ...months ago? seriously wtf.....
wait til your tiny mind gets blown by 8 bit dungeon synth lmfao!!!
Check out the youtube channel "The Dungeon Synth Archives", they got 900+ albums from the 90's and onwards of this genre.
Only just started listening but wow what a fantastic first song. Can't wait to hear the rest :) Incredible artwork too
Amazing album. Instantly became a favorite
A game with this music would be dope af
Idk where this came from all a sudden but this is so epic and I wanna listen to it whenever I game now !
This is so sick, feels like the soundtrack of a nightmare that is terrifying yet captivating and hauntingly beautiful. Personally loved Side A, 'The King Lives' and 'Goblin Cave' are standouts to me. That being said the whole album is bliss.
Looks like Yoda's Uncle, Yada, on the cover.
Gold coins everywhere 🥇
I like it, players liked it too. Maybe some parts are slightly too 'melodic' and could use a bit more "industrial ambience"

Just 5cents from my group
That goblin has seen some serious shit.
his village had been burned to the ground and ventured to the fabled dungeons yearning for treasure.
this is awesome, goes really well with elden ring
I swear these Dudes would have a hayday remixing the Phantasm OST.
Even if they made it more of a Dungeon Theme it would still be Horror-esque. Maybe more so 😳
Bought it!
Channel is subscribed!
hold on guys!
Your music is my new fav Dnd playlist :D This is sick
Wonderful album my friend. Hits like AC, but with a new fresh new twist. Hope the new label and project takes off as deserved.
goes hard, this music does
Who is responsible for this incredible artwork?
An AI hagraven

@@the_Googie Really? i not noticed that it's made by AI. The owner of channel said something about this? AI or crative process?
Awesome art, great tracks, especially lone wizard! Playing Bg3 to this.
if youre into dungeon crawlers, look into Devil Spire and Lunacid. Top tier. im playing those with this album in the back haha
I just discovered throught Cryo Chamber, and honeslty it's a fantastic work !!!
Age of Wonders vibes
Yes!
Tu musica me recuerda a Black Arias - Danzig.
Excelente !!!!! 🖤🤘
This is legit
this reminds me of some tracks in Records of Lodoss War, I really enjoy this. Nice work, really!
People are saying it's a goblin. To me it looks like a medieval Yoda.
Yoda=jedi space goblin
I arrived here too!
Big inspiration for my upcoming D&D campaign is coming from this channel, keeo up the great work! I wish i could hang a print from your "Goblin war" album on my wall!
this is so 80's !!
Nice! Also, I need a tee with that cover art!
