Mountain Realm (of projects Atrium Carceri/Za Frûmi) presents his 2nd album on Cryo Crypt. A mist filled ancient nordic folk tale fantasy within the region of Frostfall.
In Frostfall, where winter's chill never fades, the Crystal Palace stands as a testament to the past. Under the watchful gaze of the Troll King, the palace whispers tales of a bygone era. Once the crown jewel of Frostfall's first age, it shone brightly, its spires a beacon of hope in the desolate landscape. The first age of Man flourished here, but war and darkness drove them out, leaving the palace frozen in time.
Beyond the palace lies the White Bark forest, a realm of wonder and danger. Goblin-kin roam, and Elven seers weave illusions amidst the snow-covered trees. Here, reality and myth blur, and ancient magic stirs. Rumors of forgotten secrets and lost relics draw adventurers and wanderers to Frostfall, despite the dangers that lurk in the snowy mists.
Refill your health flask, pack your torches and prepare your goat for travel into the untamed lands of Frostfall

No idea how i fell into this cryo crypt channel but dam this is fire
You thought it exaggeration but the winds in the Mountain Realm never stop howling. It's the only voice you've heard in days and it ever says the same thing: Turn back. This is not your place. Go home. There are beautiful places in the world stocked with love and warmth; go there, be happy. Leave.
You ignore this voice as you move forward. If you knew what drove you, if you could put it into words and name it, maybe you could explain yourself in return. Howl this primal anxiety. You could empty the cup filled by stories from the survivors and veterans of the Crystal Palace and beyond; of wild magic, forms the eye was not made to parse, thoughts your mind would never otherwise know. They came back touched, unable to tact the world. Pour the cup into the wind, let it mangle and rake your words, turn them into something that makes sense.
But of course you will not howl at the wind, that would be madness. Instead you continue walking further into the mountains, through the forbidding veil, armed and wary, further into Frostfall. Yes, that is what you do instead.

The album art reminds me so much of 70’s dark fantasy novels that thrilled me as a kid. I truly wish I could have listened to you back then because these albums fit the mood perfectly.
Please share some titles! If there are books out there that match this, I’d LOVE to check them out.
@@thewarpaintedorc7872 gotta find yourself some book exchange stores, like Chamblins Bookmine here in Florida. Lots of the time, people will bring in old fantasy novels to trade for others, and you can really dig up some great reads. Always worth a look, get you some coffee and find you an adventure or three.
In den mittleren 90ern begann ich, intensiv Black Metal zu hören. Ich mochte sowohl das Symphonische als auch das Raue, je nach Stimmung. Viele verdrehten damals die Augen und fragten sich, was mit mir los sei. Ich konnte mich nie festlegen und das war mir auch egal - Musik ist eben Geschmackssache und darüber lässt sich bekanntlich nicht streiten.
Über viele Umwege entdeckte ich damals Mortiis und hörte phasenweise seine Alben sehr gerne, obwohl ich nie genau wusste, wie man dieses Genre bezeichnete. Viele Jahre vergingen und dank des TH-cam-Algorithmus habe ich Dungeon Synth entdeckt. Jetzt entstaube ich die Mortiis-Alben und befasse mich allgemein mehr mit Dungeon Synth. Es ist großartig, dass es so etwas gibt, denn es passt perfekt zu Spielen wie Skyrim, Diablo 2 und Valheim. Für meine kleine Welt ist das eine echte Bereicherung und urgemütlich.
Ich finde auch die anderen Veröffentlichungen von Mountain Realm super. Weiter so! Und ein fettes Dankeschön für diese Tonkunst!

I see no reason to assume it is, perhaps it is at most a heavily edited image that started from an ai one, but that seems like a stretch. It is great anyways just like the music.

@@joeloguirato7012 AI is a serious ethical issue. AI programs use stolen art without credit or remuneration to the scores of artists that they filch from. It's really disappointing seeing creatives rely on stolen art instead of paying one of many talented artists.

I just hope the cover art is not ai. Sometimes i fear that the music is too, since it's so generic. I mean not his particular artist but dungeon synth in general.

Dungeon Synth has a fairly specific niche.
It's basically just DnD music on cheap production or as a side project to other artistry.
If you find it generic, pick a different artist... Since genre is theme based, hence you will find very different sound style within the same genre...
The commonalities is the DnD theme and synthesizer produced music.
Theyre a spinoff of cryochamber and as far as i know, unless its noted somewhere, none of the art is AI. And i believe all the music is made by people.
Cryo chamber has many talented musicians and im sure the dungeon stuff does too

Nope not the same, but they are using the same bassline patch due to the tracks being related in the storyline.
