There is something comforting to think about the two figures in this image being about 6 and 4 inches tall, living amongst an old oak tree, and the alliance is between the Hermit of the Hollow (currently at war with squirrels) and the toad of the root. Long, live the alliance. ⚔️🤝… feels good man.
This is dungeonsynth perfected. It's a cool genre, but I can't really listen to much of it before getting fatigued. But Tales From the Oak (and apparently Mountain Realm whom I just discovered) really found that sweet spot, elevating the composition and arrangement without sacrificing the dungeon synth fundamentals.
Just gonna say it, Mountain Realm and Tales Under the Oak are two of my favorite producers of music in this genre. Easily some of my most listened to music comes from these two.
I love the titles, "An Invite to the Toad King", "An Invite for the Northern Tribes", "The Handshaking Hall", and "A Last Toast to New Brother." They really speak of friendship and respect.
The funny thing is I was looking for more tracks like "Burzum - Rundgang Um Die Transzendentale Säule Der Singularität" I'd never thought that 10 years later a fully fledged genre would emerge of this. I also dig the fact that you guys made a full subchannel out of this. Thanks for everything!
