Sam's Trains I looked in my railway room and indeed I did get one!. For me it appeared in a Hornby class 47 box! I will see if I can get a photo of it and sent it to you via email. When I found it, a mysterious thing appeared in my room asking for £400 to pay for it otherwise it would take the model away.
I have a flying tart In lms maroon with a five carrot motor pickups all round with sprung gold buffers.cab interior panted brass chimney fine metal wisles a few accessories I don't know where they go it can pull a train of 3000 coaches it was very cheap cheap as chips 3,0000000 yes the flying tart runs like a tart they are so rare only I have one and it runs of live steam order yours now.
Not the worst performing model train it doesn't even move whatsoever and it can't even pull to coaches and yeah there is a lot of other stuff that it's quite bad it's just a jumbled mess.
Is it just me or are the images getting smaller and slightly misleading, I would never have considered getting this model upon first glance but now that I’ve seen the contents of the box in depth I think I’ll definitely have to purchase one, happy birthday to your gran (-;

As Sam is from the UK with have day called 'April Fools Day' on 'April 1st' every year. It's a day where family and friends play practical jokes on each other. If you fall for the joke people call out 'APRIL FOOL'! So yes, this video is abit of fun played on us. :)

I'm definitely getting one of those! It looks very modern with the build that has all its components visible from the outside, not unlike the Lloyd's building. This T- version of the art class appears to be better than the earlier F-art model, which suffered from random puffs of smoke coming out of the back of the tender that were quite smelly. Can anybody tell which one is best: the Jam Tart or the Bakewell Tart?

That is very simply, your best bit of work. A truly stunning locomotive. A little known fact is that a Tart is running in revenue freight service here in the States. Nothing beats the sound of that gorgeous machine charging solo up Cajon Pass with a 20,000 foot double stack train in tow. Those Tarts are indeed incredible machines.

Great review. I was hoping to see a bag of separate parts, but it looks like none are included. There's no obvious place for a decoder, although I think you could fit one using your soldering irony. Another thing the instructions don't tell you is that the smoke unit requires a 20,000 volt power supply. Obviously, that's too dangerous for a human operator, but on the plus side, it shows what can be achieved when manufacturers don't put too much effort into springing the buffers.
Thank you - luckily all the parts come fitted on (or near) the model, so you don't have to worry. You can tack the decoder on anywhere, which is convenient. Yes it's a shame she didn't come with the power supply, but I'm hoping to build one parts from an old Kettle! Thanks for watching, Sam :)
Glad to see this. As you say, these are rare and I've never seen one pulling a train. I agree completely with your Detail rating-- it's almost too much for the eye to take it all in.

Yep . Up to Hornbys rapidly emerging new standard . The Tart will certainly give them a run for their money. I’d be prepared to pay double if we could be sure they’d run first time every time. It must cost them a fortune in QC it’s the least we can do to chip in . Just think if I had to make one of these myself I’d have to get all the parts and paint it, so this is well worth the money. I think one of the Model Railway mags gave it 9.8 out of 10. A few small issues but overall nothing of note

Its over 2 years now. I looked every shop, the internet and the used market, but i only saw one Tart. That one was over a 1000 pounds because it was a are model and worlds best and therefore most wanted OO scale locomotive. The starting price that was, i heard bids went over 9000 for that one. Still brand new, by the way. Sealed box. I know of one collector in the United States that has bought one when he saw your review on it. It has ran ever since, non stop. He does not want to sell it. So i hope you still have yours, and never sell it.

I believe that copper piece is the expansion chamber, which expands whenever the tart class's attention is peaked by a particular species of sparrowhawk. Least that's what I read in a book called tarts and conflict.
I loved this. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if you threw it onto the layout and all the pieces flew, then still tried to run it. 10/10 review
I hope it was you playing the music over the end of the vid on an ocarina! Great video, will be rushing to my nearest high street retailer to buy a tart urgently! On a more “serious” note, have added a lot to my collection this month. A class 40,59,67, 4P and a wonderful oxford rail 6wheeled toad. Amongst other items too would you believe. I need to start building a layout now, as have no more room to store anything. Happy Easter mate
The tray looking thing is called a “Toss pot” they where only ever installed on 4 of the tart class engines and it served as a bathroom for the fireman the toss pot also had the main drive system under it so after the fireman was done with his business he could turn it upside down and that served as lubricant for the main drive axle
I think the Tart is out of stock at nearly every website I checked! I've also seen versions of the Tart in America, South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Western Africa, and China! They go by many different names! One of which is near where I live, and is called "The Worker Ant" because it was so strong yet small!
Sadly, Rails of Hattons is out of stock already! What a shame, considering how much of a beauty she is.

Its over 2 years now. I looked every shop, the internet and the used market, but i only saw one Tart. That one was over a 1000 pounds because it was a are model and worlds best and therefore most wanted OO scale locomotive. The starting price that was, i heard bids went over 9000 for that one. Still brand new, by the way. Sealed box. I know of one collector in the United States that has bought one when he saw your review on it. It has ran ever since, non stop. He does not want to sell it. So i hope you still have yours, and never sell it.

That metal bit is the radio dish. Since they saw use in the front lines of the Hattons raid in WW2 they needed a way to communicate

I believe that copper piece is the expansion chamber, which expands whenever the tart class's attention is peaked by a particular species of sparrowhawk. Least that's what I read in a book called tarts and conflict.

I hope it was you playing the music over the end of the vid on an ocarina! Great video, will be rushing to my nearest high street retailer to buy a tart urgently! On a more “serious” note, have added a lot to my collection this month. A class 40,59,67, 4P and a wonderful oxford rail 6wheeled toad. Amongst other items too would you believe. I need to start building a layout now, as have no more room to store anything. Happy Easter mate

The tray looking thing is called a “Toss pot” they where only ever installed on 4 of the tart class engines and it served as a bathroom for the fireman the toss pot also had the main drive system under it so after the fireman was done with his business he could turn it upside down and that served as lubricant for the main drive axle

I think the Tart is out of stock at nearly every website I checked! I've also seen versions of the Tart in America, South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Western Africa, and China! They go by many different names! One of which is near where I live, and is called "The Worker Ant" because it was so strong yet small!
