Hey juice head, wondering if you plan in doing any content on sim settlements 2 now that it’s out? I never played the first one but just downloaded this and would love to see some content regarding it
Meanwhile, in Fallout 4, Sim Settlements 2 ambushes everyone. Hope that Juice isn't kicking himself too hard at having this drop the same day as _that_ bombshell.
No need to wait, the original is just fine. Might want a few things to increase stability, but that's the engine's fault. Besides, on PC, most bugs can be fixed with console commands.
Hey JuiceHead, I usually don't do this sort of thing, but the only reason I'm even able to comment on this video is because of GamerPoets and their guides on modding, I literally quit playing New Vegas for two years because of how daunting modding was and is. To cut to the point, he's got an extremely low sub count compared to the effort and time he puts into his videos, and I figured; If I'm here because of him, maybe people can go to him because of you? He seems to be having a tough time right now, and I figured you may be one of the perfect people to give him support with a quick and simple shout out sometime. Thanks for your time if you see this.
Juicehead could you please make a tutorial on how to manually install mods? ive tried time and time again and the other videos dont work and i cant get nmc texture pack to work or custom weapon mods or retextures or anything to work.
Almost everything you'll be copying into will be in the Data folder. You'll need to find Fallout.ini in your Documents folder (not the main directory), and ensure that bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 to manually enable Archive Invalidation. If you're doing manual installs, it's also worth getting BethINI to help tweak some things as necessary.
@@jamesmcmackin8773 hi sorry for being difficult but you’re the only person who’s helped so far. When I drag the folders it should ask me to replace the folders right? But ever since I installed FOMM and deleted it because I didn’t understand it the files never asked to be replaced when installing NMC’s. Do you know how to fix that? I’ve tried to reinstall the game but that didn’t work.
@@wergh6570 Yeah, it might help to make a backup folder for stuff, but otherwise you'll just be merging the contents of one folder into the one in the NV directory. I personally use FOMM for New Vegas, and have had barely any issues. When you use its File Manager, you need the original compressed folder containing the mod, rather than its extracted contents. For manual modding, just pay attention to the folder layout of the mods you downloaded, and find the identical location in your Data folder, then you can check to see if the files got where they needed to.
@@wergh6570 It usually shouldn't require reinstallation of the game. If you think you messed something up, and you're using the Steam version, you can go to NV's setting icon in Steam, and under Local Files, you'll see 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache', which can reacquire some game files that may have disappeared.

i definitely will implement some of these mods into my loadout, i just hope that there's no conflict with my TTW/AWOP/Frontier setup, i like making my game ridiculously meaty. XD
Juice you are the best mod reviewer on YT, don't stop!
The most replayed part of this video is people skipping brave new world lol
you’re like the best youtuber, keep it up
It's always been installed, this just gives me a reason to do another playthrough.
Why would you assume that I ever uninstalled it
The modded Otho voiceover sounded really good. Very angry and aggressive, fitting for a legionary.
Hey juice head, wondering if you plan in doing any content on sim settlements 2 now that it’s out? I never played the first one but just downloaded this and would love to see some content regarding it
Earned my Sub great content love fallout NV
I'm glad someone is talking about the mod limit fix its so useful
Sorry new vegas vanilla voice lines just matches the mood
Bro I just love the missing asset diamonds in good springs, a classic new Vegas game.
3:11 i can relate to this guy's lack of eye contact during conversation. i also don't like to talk to strangers
love this franchise. Always loved the lore of fallout.
Meanwhile, in Fallout 4, Sim Settlements 2 ambushes everyone. Hope that Juice isn't kicking himself too hard at having this drop the same day as _that_ bombshell.
A perfect video to come out during my non moded playthrough
Love that machine you're holding...
The title: "It will get you to reinstall new Vegas"
Me: HA! YOU THINK ANYBODY WOULD UNINSTALL NEW VEGAS?!?
Oh god, Murphy's law... I take it back, I take it back!
1:59 They're right Yuri Lowenthal is everywhere 🤣
15:53 : Powder Ganger goes : "Let me in. LET ME INNNNN!".
i freaking hate that i am now waiting for F04 NV to play this game again
It could still be years away, I wouldn’t wait that long lol
It’s fine without a remaster it’s still amazing without mods
No need to wait, the original is just fine. Might want a few things to increase stability, but that's the engine's fault. Besides, on PC, most bugs can be fixed with console commands.
Yeah.. but that's years away, maybe 2022? New Vegas with mods it's still pretty good
i have hundreds of hours in fonv modded out the wazoo i just want that fresh coat of paint
Game's been out for 10 years and I'm only just now finally capable of running it without crashing every hour
8:27 That kill was so cool
The only times I've ever intentionally uninstalled New Vegas is when my dumbass fucked up while modding
Honestly I love when I loot something I get a menu in the older games
@M G exactly plus I like the pause so I don’t get smacked while doing it
Which sniper is that at 0:16
Started getting back into Fallout Lore after seeing ShoddyCast's Storyteller videos and now i'm reinstalling 3 and NV
Btw if you keep seeing those red warning signs over dead enemies or installed textures, the 4gb patch completely fixed that issue for me
It's crazy how this old, rough-around-the-edges RPG still has a large following
Well many people do consider it to be the best rpg ever made
@@chestercarmichael3111 well maybe not that, but they consider it the best Fallout game
juice head i have an urgent message for you sim settlements 2 is out on nexus
Arizona spillway in the works for simply uncut.
We jus not gone talk about how he spends the whole video straight fucking everyone up, mans was ripping the strip to shreds
@@jamesmcmackin8773 I got it working, but my game still doesn’t look very good. Some textures are still really old
i love that he has the same bug as me where rangers sunglasses are on wrong and hasn't fixed it just like me
I just bought it! Perfect timing juicehead 😂
What have you done to me?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME??!! Now I'm heavily tempted to play this very very good game again!!!
I kinda hope they didn't touch the legate in voice acting as his actor is truly perfect..
