- Today we have a total of 57 Super Mario bosses from mainline and spinoff titles and we are ranking the FIRST one from each game! No mini bosses will be included in this list but the first main boss in each game will be chosen!

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Koopa Bros) from Paper Mario 64 is pretty fun. They put on quite a performance as Mecha Bowser. I just like the music. They use the power of team work.

Hammer Bros. would be the real first boss for Super Mario RPG since Bowser is really just the tutorial, kinda like how he was in Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi, or Crump in Paper Mario TTYD and the goop Piranha at the airstrip in Sunshine.
Yeah a tutorial "boss" in which you can't possibly lose against shouldn't count as the first boss.

I really really enjoyed watching this video! Definitely a relaxing watch. This is something I'd honsetly listen to while drawing and I only do that on very, very, small, select few videos.

You can't really say that Super Mario Land 2 has a "First Boss" considering you can play the six worlds in any order you want. Any of the bosses (except Wario) can potentially be the first boss depending on how you play.

I think he didn’t counted tutorial bosses or mini bosses (which is weird because he used Bowser in Mario RPG)

First of all, Hooktail without SFX Badge R is _not_ easy. Her attack power is five, and she has a defense point. Second, well I already said it but Hooktail's female. Her, not him.

My favorite first boss battle has to be Dino Piranha from Super Mario Galaxy because I like how you hit his tail and it will hit right back at him which I really like cause it was really cool
Thing is, when you're 5 and fighting bowser for the first time in smb1 it is quite atmospheric. Depends on your age of playing the games

Theory Idea: at the end of the Last Spark Hunter DLC, the Mecha king bob omb doesn't blow up. Instead, it launches into space with Kanya inside. So maybe, for her revenge, she can maybe make robot copies of the heroes that you play as in Sparks of hope, much like what she did with the king bob omb and made a mech themed after him. And the robo heroes either could have sentience, or could be controlled by Kanya via remote controller, much like with the Proto mecha king bob omb. Heres hopen Kanya will return in the next Mario plus rabbids game.

being the OG doesn't make the fight any less terrible and boring, I can agree on King Bob Omb but having played most of the mario party ones too I think they are much more fun tbh (most of them)
@3:56 you can play all the level/Worlds (except the last) in SML2 in any order so why do you pick the "Bird" as the first boss, technial all bosses can the be the first boss.
Petey Piranha is much more annoying than King Bob-Omb because of all octopus jumping enemies that constantly attack you during his fight when you spray his mouth

I think the main thing that people have with the first mario party ds boss fight is how glitchy it is
It's mainly that you're fighting against a boss that requires you to button mash on a handheld system. That's not fun especially since younger me was already bad at button mashing on the console games

For Super Mario RPG, I would argue that Mack was the first boss battle. Bowser and the Hammer Brothers and Croco were mini-bosses.
Especially seeing as bowser wasn't counted in Mario and Luigi or Paper Mario as the first boss.

Since you named the prologue Bowser fight in Legend of the Seven Stars as the first boss, shouldn't the first boss of Odyssey have been Topper? Or for a more direct comparison of RPG to RPG, shouldn't the prologue fight against Fawful have been the first boss of Superstar Saga? You weren't at all consistent.
And now having watched to near the end and seeing you put Colored Pencils as the first boss of Origami King, by your own metric you established throughout the video, the first boss of Legend of the Sever Stars should have been Mack.

I really hated Madam Broodal, something about the design I find gross, and the chain-chomp is one of my least favorite capture for some reason.
Really easy Mario Odyssey was the first rabbit, and the Mario Odyssey was hard, It's between the last Bowser fight, the robot bug , the head guy, and dragon, the chicken bird thing was middle, the Mario and rabbit's game , monkey rabbit easy , the snow monster easy , the phantom opera rabbit middle , bowers jr hard , wario and wl easy to trick, mega dragon Bowser harder than you think. Super Mario 3d word + Bowser fury cat Bowser easy, inky Bowser harder. This is my theory that Bowser got the robot bug from egg man .

Man you're way off when it comes to the first boss in Dream Team. Even if you don't count the tutorial Antasma fight, there is still Smoldergeist and Dreamy Mario that appear before him. So you techically skipped by 3 bosses just to pick Grobot

I think Fury Bowser is great but most of the "greatness" comes from how cinematic it is, not necessarily gameplay, so personally I would've put it lower, the rest I can agree on though you used different logic to determine what the first bossfight of each game is and I don't quite get that (the tutorial fight for SMRPG? really? xd)
My favorite has to be Sea Pipe Statue, I am biased as BIS is my favorite game ever but let's be honest everything about this fight is perfect, the gameplay is phenomenal and makes you use every tool in your arsenal and its role in the story is great too
