My wife passed last year after a long illness. I would give anything to have one more year of her love. Miss her so much.

Man, John Deacon wrote some beautiful songs. He didn't write many Queen songs, but the ones he did are amazing.

    2024 I'm still here 😢

John Deacon's songs are often passed over. That is a mistake. This song has so much feeling and should be a Queen classic played over and over again.

John Deacon composed a wonderful song! This is the only song of Queen with a saxophone :-)

I just love how Freddie enunciates every word. So much emotion. It’s so moving, my God. Beautiful. The saxophone accentuates the emotions Freddie is singing about. Bravo John for writing this magnificent song.

This world has known many legends: Elvis, Michael, Bowie and the list goes on. But Freddie was by far the best. He was the greatest of all time and had a great sence of humor. The day Freddie died, a big part of music died and it would never be the same. Freddie forever.

I wonder if John Deacon ever just looks up some of his songs, and sees what people have to say...

John Deacon’s contribution to Queen as a song-writer is under-recognised. Whilst his bass playing on all their tracks is consistently exceptional and also under-recognised, that’s pretty par for the course for bass players. But his songs are right out there and I think this is my favourite for how much it pushed Freddie to be as exceptional as he could be.
