Great video. I just did my fronts yesterday on a 2000 coachmen Mirada. It took alot longer than an hour but I love the results. I am doing the back springs, front and rear sway bars, safe t steer and ultra trac bars front and rear. Also, new Koni shocks. Thanks again for the video..
Where did you get your products from?!? Can you post a link of the products you purchased in the link so I can check them out for my ‘03 Winnebago Adventurer. Thank you.
I'm looking into this for a 2013 Thor ACE rig, on the F53 chassis. I'm curious which made more of a difference. The sway bars or the replacement springs. Wish you had test drove after the sway bar install and before the springs to compare how one thing changes at a time. Thanks for the video.
Ever try bilstine shocks an were wonderful even without sumo an cheaper. O steeting stabilizers for when you get blow out or hit rumble strips lol they really make your ride more relaxed with the steering stabalizer help alot with sway an keeping centered on road.
@@jamiegarcia249 Tiffins come with Bilstein from the factory. Koni are a major upgrade to Bilsteins. Night and day better. You can tell from the cost. Bil's are cheap like 1/3 the cost of a Koni. You get what you pay for.
We are able to do 70 comfortably. I don’t go faster than that regardless. The is a drastic difference in the ride quality. I would definitely recommend. Passengers in the back were getting sick before with all the sway
@@BearsWorkshop Thank you. I just purchased a little older but nice 2000 coachmen santara v10 gas it's my first motor home and needless to say I'm not real satisfied with the ride. I was pretty nervous at 70mph on the hwy for the first drive so I have to do some suspension work for sure. Thank you for the video
@@jessesmith1181 I just did the fronts on my 2000 coachmen Mirada. It totally firmed up the ride with just the fronts done. I am doing the back ones and the sway bars next weekend and the safe t steer or whatever it is called. I am also doing the ultra trac bars front and rear. I told my wife that i am going to make this derive like your car.. ;)).
@@BearsWorkshop I haven’t upgraded anything yet and every time we drive anywhere my wife gets car sick. I told her I’m driving ver careful but it doesn’t help…lol
Thanks good review on most of install steps & issues. I am still looking for my 18 mm socket also? I already have sway bars & steering up grade . For $600 bucks did sumo springs make a big difference on front? Yeah make an updated video on rear install & driving impressions after both installs complete.
Not enough for F-53, tried it, helped some, but not enough. I ended up with front and back sway bars, front sumo springs, safety steer much better, but not perfect. F53 chassis just seems to be a weak suspension for these rigs. Liked the powertrain, V-10 but never was completely satisfied with handling.

Sucks that Ford doesn't release it with these mods. They've only been making it for friggin 40 years or more

I think the sway bars did more. Just saying by feel but I would still do both

After bith upgrades what do you think about the over all improvement and what hwy speeds can you drive at now compared to before?

Did you research the ROADMASTER Steering Stabilizer? Many people swear by it. Great Video!!!
Yes I have. I have plans on it for the future.
Ha Ha Ha that bushing good does not come off good.
Was the money worth the better ride?
Yes. People were getting car sick in the back from the bouncing. This resolved that. We did do both front and back.

Bear, look into Safety Steer, it really helps to keep you in your lane and if you had a blow out it really helps. Good luck the channel.
I will look into this. Thanks for the info.
Chuck, Can you please post a link of the product in here for us all to see? Thanks:-)

I think the springs made a big difference. There was a never ending bounce when hitting bumps. Now it goes up and down and stops. Same for the back.
All you really needed to do was the Cheap Handling Fix on both front and rear.

Hey if you move the bolts on the sway bars to the back holes on the front and back it will make a significant difference in handling!
I just did it. I haven't taken it out yet to test it out. Thanks for the advice.
Very sad that you discount proper safety... hopefully, anyone following your "channel" will be a LOT more cautious than you... :-(
Can you explain what you are talking about?
Robert, please explain what you are talking about please.
