Great video! I’d like to see a parking break video and cable adjustment! My 07 XC90 Sport makes this job difficult and your videos would help out our community a lot. Thanks
Great video. One thing I noticed putting everything back together...my parking brake was previously perfectly adjusted, but with new rotors there is zero contact with the rotors even when the parking brake is fully depressed. It sounds like the adjustment is in the console and a PITA to get to.
Great video - just did brakes for all four corners for my daughter's 2013 XC90. Easy job - just have to know the rotor sizes (plenty of videos out there on how to check - key is the different styles of anti-rattle clip). I'll be watching for more P2 3.2 XC90 videos - thanks!
Good video but maybe mention the parking brake possibly causing problems with rotor removal. You took the rotor off with no problem but mine was stuck on due to the parking brake. After Googling, it looks like this is a VERY common problem and it would have been nice if you at least gave a bit of a heads-up that this could happen and maybe directed to an adjusting the parking brake cable video.
Video is called "Volvo XC90 Rear Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement DIY (2003-2014 P2 XC90 3.2, 4.4 V8, T6)" But you didn't remove and replace brakeshoes etc for parking brakes, otherrwise good vid if all goes smooth and no trouble removing the brakedisk itself as i just encountrered
11:42 you talked so fast I couldn't understand what is it , anyone knows what he said those stuff name ? Also at 16:27 did you say " between 50 and ten thousand miles per hour " my car wont go 10k per hour although its T6 twin turbos but i feel those turbos not adding any horse power 😂.
Not just a regular instructional video. This comes with tons of great tips. Thanx!
Glad you enjoyed it!
6:50 is a great tip for removing stubborn calliper pins. Thanks!
It was incredible explanation! Thank you a lot!
This is a superb instructional video. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

Wondering about brake grease on the slide pins, noticed you didn’t grease them on assembly, do you not recommend?
About how long did this take?
