Mine broke a drive shaft after about 2 weeks and tbh its never been driven anywhere near like people do online yes it has rolled over about 8 to 10 times but never had the huge bumps i see people do at skate parks and off jumps.. i bascially just drive around on flat ground, came inside after about 30min one day and 1 or 4 drive shafts was broken. Yes it can be fixed but im shocked it even happened because i just don't feel like im hard on the shit at all@beyondRC
I have a couple Hyper Go trucks to go along with my higher end (Losi, Associated, Kyosho, Arrma, etc.) and I love the little Hyper Go trucks. Parts and mods easily available. I tend to use those more than my others mostly because of the small size. Not much room on my street for the 1/5 - 1/8 scale 60+ mph cars!
That's the black drift pickup right? I have that and it is a total blast especially if you have limited space. Highly recommend going to 3s batteries if you haven't already. So much quicker and fun. You can thank me later :-)
@janus4002 yeah, its so much fun, even with 2s. I plan on getting a 3s battery, and maybe even a new transmitter. I have a little fpv camera I wanted to put on it, but I'll have to 3d print a mount for it.
@@LowQualityCoding I haven't had any issues with the radio and it seems pretty decent. Maybe just start out with a stronger/faster steering servo first. In the end it's up to you.
Wouldn't say the goat but definitely worth it if you can't or don't want to get into the bigger and faster stuff. I made some other posts on this thread giving more of my thoughts. It's a good choice for both kids and adults alike. For reference I'm 46 and got into the hobby when I was about 10 when nothing was RTR and all on kit form.
Hrp sells them in USA. If you have a hobbytown near you ask them . I have two rx and two quantum r and they are a blast . They don't hold up to being stupid tho so don't expect Traxxas or arrma durability

@@janus4002 Sorry, I am from UK. And that is why it is cheap. And why are you flexing you rc car, want me felx me my cars? Apollo? Ferrari? I think I have Mclaren too...
@GUIDE_Nico As you probably know all to well, I've spent thousands of dollars on RC cars, since the mid 80s, when I built 3 RC 10s in a row! After killing every Tamiya there is 😆 and I'm still doing it (Not like back then) But this little 100 dollar basher is fun as fk! And when I put the 3s in , she comes alive! Fun and no real guilt about smashing up your 3000$ RC car, really like the Chinesium RC vehicles, definitely going to get a few more!
Smaller but better built and nicer quality. The mjx is a powerful 4s ready truck that’s not perfect out the box and great for bashing. The rlaarlo if you can deal with the smaller 1/12 size is probably the better truck. Check out my mjx vid on my channel for a size comparison
I wish I could give you my thoughts on the Omni-Terminator but haven't taken it out yet. I got the carbon version and it looks cool. Also have the AK-787 of something (the one with the white, red, and green I think livery. Only issue I had was the receiver was bad out of the box and would only go maybe 50' before it just shut down. Instead of dealing with the customer service hassle and wait I just bought a new one since it was pretty inexpensive. No more issues.
There are so many I will leave it up to others. Personally I try to avoid sand like that one reason is it gets everywhere and can wear things out and the other is I don't have what kind of terrain near me. If I did I would probably just say screw it and send it up the dunes!
The E-Revo 2.0 was my dream truck for years and finally got one. Absolutely love it. My only issues are that it is discontinued and is a royal PITA to work on.
A 2wd Slash isn't too bad. But a 3s conversion is a must! And if anyone here is considering a Slash I cannot say enough how much it is worth it to get the LCG ( low center of gravity) chassis. Gives you a chance to take it apart and learn about it so repairs are easier. And it made a HUGE difference in stability
I want Rlaalrio to be good but haven't had the chance to run my Omni-Terminator carbon yet. Seems to have no issues with my AK-747 or whatever model it is.
Very good vehicles but absolutely not considered cheap. After the initial cost the big will hot and you will want to spend $100's on mods. Lovey SCT Pro4 and have to hold back. All I did were new shocks and am holding myself to that. I got the RTR version so maybe the kit has better parts but I don't really know.
Ftx are Uk based my Channel is worldwide. Only 13% monthly views are from the Uk. Ftx adopt a lot of HBX designs like with the tracer so they are kind of on the list 😂
Traxxas can kind of be but Losi is more higher end. Either way both have some models going for over $1k. Also much less obviously but as far as Losi goes they are more for the more experienced hobbiest. Def not for a first car. If you find a Traxxas you like in your price range I say go for it. Lots of parts and modifications available.
highly debateable.. there are some good affordable options coming from them like the gorgon and the new vorteks/fury 2wd. The cars themselves seem to be cheap but spares are incredibly expensive at times.

Some nice looking cars there. Be awere if you live in Canada parts can be a real problem for some of these brands shipping is a killer 😂😂
The most important part of any of these os parts availability and modifications of tou want to go that route. But especially parts availability.
Nice, I just ordered a hyper go 14301. Its gonna arrive today
Start looking at new tires haha the stock ones are very soft and I cheeed em up in a few packs
I can confirm. I drifted too much. The tires are sad.
