Enjoyable video. Thank You for your dedicated work to showcase your adopted city and country. My Takeaway of this video is,you don’t have to live in a palace or eat in Michelin stars restaurants to seek happiness. A simple/normal and balanced family life can generate a lot more happiness but especially a genuine one.

Hahaha your Greek "discussion" (not argument) 😂 with your wife about the barrel and learning Greek was beautifully and quintessentially Greek. It was hilarious!! You may as well be Greek, my friend!! I printed off a recipe for σπανακόρυζο for my wife and I to eat here in Canada!!

Guitar make and model please? (I'll look if they make a LH model myself :))
BTW Το Σόι Μας is more than watchable even after having seen each episode like five times... One of the best comedy adaptations in Greek TV ever...

Daniel, I can understand that buying water bottles helps your friend and makes you getting an extra walk but i assure you that installing a filter is literally a 1-minute process with no fuss at all and you get to get it with you if you ever change a house.

Daniel, can I use my USA electronic gear in Greece. I am closing my store and moving to Kalamata very soon. I was thinking about bringing many instruments with me to possibly privately sell. Do you think that's a good idea?

I think you going to need some sort of adapters because the grid in Greece runs from 220v up to 250v
Also if am not wrong TV, monitors ect are running on PAL system and I don't know if there is any kind of adapters for that

@@Pavlos_Charalambous Thank you Pavlo. I was hoping to connect with Daniel to learn if there is a market for electric guitars, drums and other musical instruments in Greece. Since he is a musician I thought maybe he may have some insight into this matter. I hope he will see this and answer me, but now I am not sure he responds.

I'm sorry Daniel, but I disagree with the whole "I've been recording for an hour, don't walk in front of the camera" mentality. It's a public space, people don't have to (and shouldn't) work around you. At the end of the day, you can just edit them out.

Water has become a big issue here in the Mani. We usually get water from local pigis; however, this year the pigis are dry and water must be purchased or travel to the mountains.

Aloha Daniel, it sounded like the water issue in Nafplio is caused by city Water Authority tanks, instead of the well or water source. Here in Honolulu, the water was great until a few years ago when the U.S. Navy underground fuel tanks leaked and contaminated the water source for areas south of Pearl Harbor. There are bottled water vendors who deliver 5 gallon bottles to businesses and homes. I researched the water sources and have been subscribing to a service for about 4 years. It is unfortunate that governments (U.S. federal or Nafplio city/county) are not adequate stewards of public resources.

      @@elenikoukeas it depends
The issue in smaller towns of Greece is that unlike the energy grid that it was build by a single back then government company
The water infrastructure was local and up to the local authorities
Although the government water company ( Ευδαπ) has the authority to take samples and usually they are the ones who find out that the locals messed up something 😏
That's why the conservative government that is pro smaller government/ less state / less central government control
They were forced pretty much to expand the government water company
Also note that in areas that the local government has mess up things with water, the bottled one is technically half the price that you would expect if not even less, since the government is lowering the tax on water for that specific region 😉

@@Pavlos_Charalambousthank you for the info, it is similar to Hawaii. The Board of Water Supply on my island is under the City and County of Honolulu. The water department for each island in the state is locally governed by county.
