    Awesome, well done! I kayak the west coast every year and see wolves often. They are shy creatures, typically showing themselves to us after we have been on a beach for a couple of days. Like you, we keep our distance staying in one area of the beach away from them. Watching pups and the interaction between pups and their parents is priceless. One time the pups were too curious and came to our tent. We shooed when away and moments later they were marched single file down the beach, with one parent leading and the other bringing up the rear. The pups did not come back after that, I think they received a lesson that day.

    I just saw the discussion about this on a newscast in Ontario and immediately went looking for it. As soon as I heard the howls, I burst into tears. I'm so glad you are doing something to bring positive attention to these beautiful animals! The grey wolf is my favourite. Coastal wolves are second. Please keep doing what you're doing and bring more attention so the stupidity of the human race will cease and they will be protected for the future!

    Wow! So beautiful. I live in the middle of Europe, more to the south. Wolfs started to comeback here. But mostly they are not welcome because farmers fear for their life stock (which is their income so to speak). And STILL residents have a fear of those wonderful animals, that they might attack them sooner or later. 😟

    Steve Woods , that is beautiful what you do . Those sorts of imagery of ever so gentle but sadly for a hundreds of years demonised wolfs , are ever so touching and emotional to the core of my being . Just the way how she looks while she drinks a water is something what she has rights to , rights to that water , rights to that air and space where she can move freely . So sad that at the same time I see that nobel spirits that they are still a target of a kill to some .

    Interesting that these lovely & majestic Wolves are described as 'highly intelligent & social animals' so, actually more valuable than Homo saps because more innocent & environmentally sound. Only the brutalist & Planet-wasting Homo saps kill for 'trophies'. How vile!! These photographers are so wonderful. Such a fabulous documentary, thank you.

    I can't see how any human can murder such a magnificent animal especially if they have had a pet dog.
    These animals have survived millions of years through some of the most difficult situations to become the beautiful smart creatures they are and then man comes along and murders them. Not for food but for a trophy. Kind of like some serial killers do when they keep little personal items from their victims.

    • @matthewmead2374
      @matthewmead2374 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I am advocating to start a special hunting season from May until September where the target is human hunters. If you hunt animals then you will be hunted yourself by other people during this hunting season. The best part is that as long as you only hunt human hunters you yourself wont be hunted during this hunting season. It only applies to people who kill other animals for sport. It seems cruel but understand its vital to the environment to not let the numbers of these hunters grow too large or it will threaten other species. And let's face it, hunters are like coyotes- of a nuisance and completely overpopulated. If we dont do something we will start finding them eating out of trashcans and shitting on our lawns

    I love all wolves, They are beautiful and intelligent animals who are essential to the healthy, balanced ecology. They should not be killed by men.

    I spent several years living close by a sea wolf pack on one of the coastal islands . Are they beautiful, intelligent animals with strong family bonds who should be granted protective status - absolutely . They are also predators who hunt in packs . To describe them as gentle, in my experience, doesnt give them the full respect they deserve . For instance, beach campers should be very careful when bringing their dogs to the beach. The alpha pair may well decide to kill them . Respect the wild, people !
