Unless you're being extremely violent with it, the ice won't chip the glass. The scoop might, but the ice won't unless it came from a foot above the glass. If you pour the ice (especially crushed) on the drip tray, you're just gonna make a mess.
After seeing all the cleanliness and organization of the place, do you still think there is something contaminated or dirty... What is your opinion based on?
@@paulohenrique-es2nr hey, it really doesn't matter if it is clean or not to be honest... Health restriction will tell you, that this is not a clean way to work. But still i fancy the video :P and if you're a barkeeper u will know, that this is the #1 rule to take care of :) Ice once used - is gone not put back :D
He dumped the ice it was sitting on, so that doesn't matter. He was chilling the shaker, and this is a fine way to do it while working on other things. They get washed regularly and seemingly were washed right before this shoot.
@@thekingofpigs8566 you’re not wrong, missed that. He did the same with the ice cooling the glass. I guess in my head he dumped it in the sink, that’s definitely not okay to reuse ice that’s been in a glass no matter what. Not sure why he would do that, and especially why he would show it in the video if he was.
@@spartan113ish you work with liquid all day and that moisture can build up in any watch or bracelet you may have. It’s best to have nothing on your wrists or fingers. Im a bartender and can assure you, you don’t need a watch for anything relating to work.
@@armandolapeda5367 i’m a bartender too and yes, when you have plenty things to do before 5pm you’ll need a watch. Plus you just have to select your bracelet’ material and it’ll be fine

Moldova?
Everything comes second to this: Never EVER pour ice on a glass above the ice you re gonna use. Never. A fraction of broken glass can kill someone.

Looks tasty, but putting the bottom of the shaker into the other half is just disgusting. Also maybe some sort of recipe would be nice.

@@Pyrrho66 It matters cause he threw the ice with the rest of the ice that he will use.

Be a little more hygienic. I’d recommend starting by taking off the watch.
Why would the watch be unhygienic? What if he needs it for work?
