My 2nd was born in May at 34 weeks after my water broke unexpectedly. But luckily labor went so smooth compared to my 1st and he did amazing, no nicu time. Can't wait for your updates ❤
I’ve always wanted to be a book girl and thought it would only be beneficial to read like self help or motivating books but those books don’t always keep me captivated. My daughter and I finally got a library card for the first time in like 20 years and I’m reading The Golden Couple and I can’t believe in just 3 days I’m 200 pages in and this coming from someone who is not a reader. I am so happy to be joining the reading book club and excited to ready more books this year.
I was supposed to be induced with my third at 37-38 weeks due to some medical stuff, but my water broke at exactly 36 weeks!! I wish I had thought about that possibility but since I had gone past my due date with both my other children, it never crossed my mind that it could happen even earlier. I’m glad you have a plan in case she decides to come before your scheduled C-section!!
I LOVE LIBBY!!! I live in Scranton PA and found out that all PA residents can have access to the Philadelphia Public Library System. So, maybe others can try that in their areas?

You should 100% read Firekeeper’s Daughter. It’s definitely an audiobook because of the native language. I used Libby for it. It is definitely my top book for 2024 so far!

Just a heads up to Canadians before you go buying a kindle and hoping you can use Libby. You can’t. Only Kobo’s work with the Canadian library system. Idk why. But you can absolutely use Libby for audio books in Canada.

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I totally feel you on the hot tub/hot bath situation. I missed getting in a 104 degree hot tub this winter. Looking forward to my first hot bath postpartum.
Libby is my lifeline 😂 sometimes though if you want to read something faster and are okay with a physical copy the actual library is faster lol. Also I listened to the new Thrawn book on audio and omg it was fabulous. Gonna look for the other Star Wars books I want to read in Libby audio now

I had a growth check ultrasound with my 2nd at around 34 weeks because my belly was measuring ahead and my 1st was on the larger size and I needed intervention at her birth. They estimated him to be around 8 lbs 14 oz... The size my 1st was at birth!
I’m 5 weeks so can’t use our hot tub…. Which is the scene that started this pregnancy off 😂 little Valentine’s Day baby. Now I can’t use it for a long time to come. He just has to enjoy it solo. 😂
I feel you so hard when you said your little baby is so big I'm at 37 weeks and my baby is at 7.5 so if my baby boy goes full term he'll be 8.5-9 pounds let alone if he goes past his due date 😂😅
I don’t know if you’ve checked them out already, but I highly recommend the Padme star wars books, they are super interesting and you get to see a different side of the Star Wars universe with more of a focus on politics, there really really good!!!! Anyway I just had to promote them a little once you said you were reading other Star Wars books :)
Number of borrows on Hoopla varies from library to library depending on their budget. Some limits might be 4 or 5 per month and others might be 8-10. Either way, totally agree that it’s definitely worth checking out if your library offers it. They’ve been adding some really good popular titles lately so it’s also a good option for book clubs!

I had a scheduled c-section in July this year, it got bumped up 2 weeks because of some things. The last 3 weeks of my pregnancy I had daily ultrasounds to check on her. (Or even multiple times a day) The funny thing is she swapped between breech and head down every single day, sometimes even within the hour. I would have an US and she would be head down, 20 minutes later a different doctor came in and she would be breech. (Without me feeling anything, I felt no movement in the last 4 weeks) She could not make up her mind. 😂 Mind you, she was measuring 100P for growth so she shouldnt have had that much room in there. 😂
VBAC is possible and a natural birth is beautiful just as much as a c section but healthy baby and mom is what matters however she is delivered! I have had three natural deliveries and you c section mommy’s are WARRIORS 🎀🤍💙

A great spicy book it S*x in the Sticks by Sawyer Bennett. It sounds really trashy from the title, but it was actually a great story. Lots of character development and A+ spice 😉
The weights aren’t accurate at all, idk why they give them out. For all of my mother in law’s babies (7 of them) they said 9lbs plus, they all came out 6lbs
