I read this thing saying you can’t pick your father, but you can pick who is going to be your children’s father, so make sure you pick a good one. Watching Stephen dance with Grace really shows that you picked a great father for her and her future sibling/s
I see him interact with her on here, and see my bff's husband with their kid, and think about unpresent some fathers are especially with their girls. It's a choice you make. You either want to make an effort or you don't. Even if it's not perfect, someone can tell if you bothered. Grace will always know he bothered to be present for her and interested in her.
the way sierra is in her book girly era is amazing! as someone who has been in their book girly era for the past couple years i love seeing you join! talk about what you read whenever you would like, at the end of each month you could do a recap? im currently reading 'check & mate' by ali hazelwood, and my next read might be 'the do over' by lynn painter (a valentines day book) OMG i love the seven husbands of evelyn hugo i really hope you enjoy that:)
I love this idea! Thank you! I’m also tracking all my books to hopefully do a full ranking at the end of the year 😊 And Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was amazing, I read it in 2 days because I just couldn’t put it down. Such a fantastic book! So great that you loved it too!
Sierra in her booktube era! Book Lovers is by far my favorite Emily Henry book, I connected to the main character in a way that hurt a little bit haha. I hope you love it!
Grace bringing you a flower, and you putting it behind your ear is so nostalgic for me lol. I used to bring my mom flowers from our yard all the time when I played outside and would put them in her hair and behind her ear ❤
Love hearing your reading journey!! I’m still 5 weeks away from book lovers, but I’ve read all of the rest of Emily Henry’s and happy place and people we meet on vacation were my favorite. Feb reads are to sir Phillip with love, it ends with us, and the lightning thief! Audiobook of the month is the love hypothesis
I've never been so early omg but love that you've been showing more of you reading this year! I've been trying to replace my social media with more hobby time either reading or video games or something else. The kindle really comes in clutch to replacing that scrolling time, so I'm always happy to see what others are reading to add to my TBR!
sierra, I'd love to hear more about the books you've been reading and plan to read! I also started a book club last year and I've been so excited, it would be nice to hear more about this topic :) and how sweet was Grace rushing home to cuddle with you?! she's adorable! you and stephen seem such good parents. you both seem to have a good sense of humor and patience with grace and that inspires me so much!
Can’t even begin to describe how positively watching you all these years has been for me! Always a great start to my day. You (and the Shultzie team) always bring positivity to my day and I always feel so good after watching your vids :,) thanks for being so real always and showing us snippets of your life 💗
loving the book talk, i used to be a big reader and then when i was in nursing school for my RN i didn't have time. Shortly after i finished my RN i went back for my bachelor's and again didn't have time, but now that i'm finished, my husband got me a kindle and i've been reading again. Makes my ❤ happy. I'm currently reading The Mortal Instrument series and I'm on book 3, "City of Glass". I love fantasy, horror and sci fi fiction books!!
Just curious but would you guys ever consider bringing back the small business hauls? I really enjoyed those and being able to highlight business we wouldn’t otherwise have known about ❤ ❤
loved the book update & the cute clips of cinderella grace & prince stephen! please keep us posted on what you’re reading! i’m currently loving the seven year slip!
I’m on the 4th book in the ACOTAR series and I cannot recommend these books enough! I feel like you’d really enjoy them. So happy to see you pop up on my feed today. Enjoying all of this content and can’t wait for you to welcome your second baby girl!💜
Love seeing the reading content!!! I’ve been a book girly forever. I read a lot of fantasy and dark romance. I’ve never read any historical fiction but maybe I’ll check it out you’ve convinced me a little.
I’ve been reading the “Before the Coffee Gets Cold” series. It includes the time travel element, but it mostly focuses on human relationships and is so good imo. The first two had me bawling and I’m currently on the third one. It’s originally a Japanese series and has been translated, which is new for me so super cool and exciting.
11/22/63 was one of my favorite books!!! I love Stephen king, but I usually can’t finish a book cover to cover but 11/22/63 kept my attention! So good! Enjoy!
Grace is such a sweet, empathetic little genius. She has wonderful parents. Stephen was made to be a girl dad and you're just such a loving mom. Your kids are so lucky.
A few thoughts throughout the video: -Stephen is so precious with Grace it makes my heart melt every time -I am so excited for the recreating celebrities photos videos!!! -I adore Emily Henry - you will love that book! -The hair oil I use (super thick and type 3A curls) is biosilk and I love it. If you have more oily hair anyway I’d get the lite version. Might be worth trying! -My ride or die mascara is Lancôme definicils 01 black. Would definitely recommend for an every day, non waterproof mascara! The brown one is good too, but avoid the carbon black color, it flakes. As always, love the video!
Does your county library have access to Hoopla too? Our library in OR uses Libby and Hoopla for ebooks and audiobooks, there's a direct link on our Library's website. The cool thing about Hoopla is that if your library has an ebook version, you can automatically borrow it without the wait on Libby. Not all books are on Hoopla yet but I've found some on Hoopla that were also on Libby. Worth a shot
love both of these resources! but depending on the kindle someone has they may not be able to take advantage of the ebooks, for some reason you have to have the app on the device itself to read ebooks from hoopla.
Yes loving the book content! Reading has been one of the constant loves in my life so it is always wonderful to see people getting back into it! Also I loved the Padme books! I have been on a Star Wars comic book kick recently, and my next read is Lost Stars by Claudia Grey, which is a star wars romance between childhood best friends who end up on opposite sides, im looking forward to it and think it would be something you would like too!
Omg thank you for the tip about the broadway shows on TH-cam! My daughter is on a repetitive kick with a few Disney movies and Frozen is one of them. Any new frozen content to add to our rotation is just gold!
The happy place will always have a special place in my heart! It’s nothing crazy but idk I read it the week my grandmother died and it was exactly the distraction I needed. I love Emily Henry! Girlllllll 7 husbands is my all time favorite book!!!!!!!! I can’t wait to see what you think!
The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is great! You can also consider getting library cards to multiple libraries local to you, that way you have a better chance of getting the books you want with a shorter wait time!
Sooooo here for the book content!! Just starting to get into my reading journey! So far I have LOVED where the crawdads sing and verity. Haha the silent patient is my next book! But I am going to take your suggestion on the Kristin Hannah book (she just released a new one yesterday as well I am going to get!) usually a silent follower of your channel, but I relate with you so so much (our girls are the same age and I just had my second little one, a girl as well) thanks for posting and doing what you do!!
Sierra! Been following you for YEARS and loving the reading content and wanted to provide some recs! The other side of midnight by Sidney Sheldon has been a big fav of mine and my moms for years. Another book I’d say you gotta read if you like Erie romance mystery stuff is Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier! I hope you enjoy as much as I did!!!
I enjoyed the 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo when I read it last year! Most recently I have enjoyed anything by Sally Hepworth, especially The Things We Keep and really enjoyed A Very Typical Family by Sierra Godfrey
Back when the Book Thief was super popular, I kept trying to get through it because everyone was obsessed, but oh boy I couldn't do it. The farthest I made it was about halfway. I kept waiting for the plot to kick in, but it never did, so I 100% get what you mean about the structure.
Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a fun read, I think you'll enjoy it more than last month's book! I recently read the ACOTR series and really enjoyed it so now I've started the Assassins Blade series by Sarah Maas as well. Fun books full of adventure!
Would love to see more book content! I’m currently reading the assassin’s blade series by Sarah J Maas currently. I highly recommend you reading the ACOTAR series. My favourite series of all time! 😊
The Book Thief is one of my favorite books!!!! The pain and grief and the small moments of joy and kindness. I read it once a year for years. I hope you like it. It is such a painfully powerful book. I am currently reading the final girl support group. Also if you like WW2 books Anne Franks Diary of course. Night by Elise Wiesel. Parallels Journeys by Eleanor H. Ayer. Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys. Then finally Eva’s Story by Eva Schloss. My grandpa gave me the book for Christmas and I devoured it. I finished it in one day.
Hi Sierra! I am a lover of historical fiction as well and highly recommend anything by Ruta Sepetys. Some of my favorites are Salt to the Sea or Between Shades of Gray. She is such a good historical author and her stories are so good and I couldn’t put it down.
I’ve read 8 books so far this year. Some cozy mysteries, some more action packed. Currently reading last but not leashed, book 2 of a cozy mystery series
Hi Sierra! I love that you’re getting back into reading! I would challenge the assertion that romance books need a disclaimer like “cheesy” or “un-serious”. A lot of people discount romance as being pointless or girly, and I think a lot of that may be some internalized misogyny! Books don’t have to be serious to be important to people :) The True Love Experiment by Christina Lauren talks about this very thing! I recommend it:)
I’m so glad you are in your book girl era! I just read the burnout! I don’t remember the author, I’m so sorry! But it was a quick read and a great romance novel to me!
I got into reading again this year as well!! I picked up Fourth Wing and Iron Flame after seeing so so so many good reviews and personally, I think it lived up to the hype!! My next read was the Before the Coffee Gets Cold series, which was pretty cute and super quick and easy to read!! Would love to hear all about your books!!
The Maid is a great mystery with some humor. A completely different type of book I enjoyed was Crying in H-Mart (a great memoir and story of family dynamics, culture, grief).
Currently reading The Desolations of Devils Acre. It is the 6th book in the Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children series. I've really loved the series! 😊
I Get what you mean about the story structure in The Book Thief. I wasn’t all that into it at the time when I read it either. Though in hindsight I really loved the perspective of Death, and it’s really unique to anything I’ve ever read. I for sure want to read it again with the love of the book I have now, years later!
I really loved Book Lovers and finished Beach Read last month. Beach Read was a little slower for me to get into but I enjoyed it overall. Currently reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. I’ll probably finish it this week and it has been a great read!
Loved the book chat!!! Ive always been a bit of a reader, but this year for some reason i've really gotten into it. very much thinking of buying a kindle/kobo. Please keep doing the book reviews! i was watching this on my computer, with my 'to read' note on my phone open to add all your suggestions!
Your lip gloss was gorgeous in this vlog! LOVE the book content! I thought “The Nightengale” was amazing! I listened to “Bad Blood” on audiobook, and it was fascinating! I would highly recommend it”The Four Winds” by Kristin Hannah! It was so good - such a journey! ❤
I applaud you for taking maternity leave. Its just sooo frustrating that almost no influencer is doing that. Thank you for showing its not just good for your baby but its your freaking RIGHT to do that. 😊❤❤❤
AHHHH I LOVED THE GREAT ALONE! I’ve been waiting to read the nightingale so I can enjoy a few of Kristin Hannah’s books before I get to what everyone thinks is the best one. I’m actually about to go pick up her book that came out today called The Women which is about the women who served as nurses in the Vietnam war!
would love love love to hear about the things you read!! the only ones I've read from the list you mentioned were 11/22/63 (wasnt really my speed) and evelyn hugo (enjoyed well enough), i think its so fun to know what other people are reading and enjoying :) right now im reading bellies & love and fury, im also next in line for sorrow and bliss on libby after waiting for almost 6 months!!!
As a reading girly, I love hearing about the books you've been reading! I love lil romance novels and I recommend Red White and Royal Blue!!! (Also Book Lovers is absolutely amazing)
I loved Seveb Husbands of Evelyn Hugo! It’s one of those books I wish I could read for the first time again😍 can’t wait to see what you think of it! Loving you in your book era🤩
slowly catching up to your vlogs , not sure if you're still reading a lot with the new baby (congrats btw!!) but Firefly Lane by Kristin Hannah is amazing , i haven't read the book but the show is amazing and has an awesome storyline going back and forth between the 70s, 80s, and present!
Love the monthly book review! The Nightingale and 11/22/63 are some of my favorite books and Book Lovers was a cute one!! Highly recommend Island of Sea Women by Lisa See for another historical fiction. It is incredible and introduced me to part of history that I knew nothing about
i just started listening to book lovers on spotify, my sister raved about it. but if you’re looking for a good lovey book with layers you should read The Last Love Note, it’s a roller coaster of emotions but sooo gooood
Loving the book content!! 🥰❤️ having a kindle is absolutely a game changer! Also I’ve read all of Taylor Jenkins Reid books and they are all fantastic, loved Evelyn Hugo so hope you enjoy!
I remember reading the book thief as required reading for my honor English class in like 8/9 grade. At first I dreaded how long the book was, but I truly enjoyed it.
Hi Sierra! I never comment - but I have some book recs I just have to share as a fellow historical fiction lover! The Alice Network and The Huntress by Kate Quinn. Both revolve around WWII. Also, for a lighter romance - The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker. It takes place in Alaska - it's a 3 book series (+a novella). I'm not a huge romance reader but this is was a 5 star series for me. I love the book content!
Yay books! Loving how much you've been able to get enjoyment out of reading on your new Kindle. I'm currently reading "Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone", and it's been crazy so far. You make me want to try Kristin Hannah another try. I didn't really enjoy "Firefly Lane", but I seem to be alone in that. And I remember from you IG stories that you loved "Evelyn Hugo". You absolutely HAVE to read the other books in that universe now. Daisy Jones, Malibu Rising, and Carrie Soto are all so good!
Book lovers is good!! Emily Henry is great! Also Ashley Poston wrote Geekerella and I really enjoyed the geeky and superhero call backs sprinkled throughout.
I do book of the month and got the new Kristin Hannah book The Women. I loved the great alone so I’m excited for it! I’m also on the band wagon and reading ACOTAR
i read the book thief in 8th grade for my english class. first book i’ve ever read ahead in for school. i love that book and the best part was the class discussions about it!
I LOVED The Great Alone and that made me want to read more Kristin Hannah books, but I wasn't nuts about The Nightingale. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't my thing. So I gave The Four Winds a try because that one was also pretty popular and I HATED it. I finished it because I felt like I should, but it really wasn't worth my time. I keep seeing The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo around the internet, so maybe I will give that one a try. But I think I'm just gonna give historical fiction a rest for now. I did write down a bunch of the books you read to add to my TBR list!
The Rose Code is such a good historical fiction! I also love anything by Ali Hazelwood and one of my favorite all time books is Enthusiasm.. such a good YA fiction romance!
i love reading as well. I also loved The Knightengale, and The Great Alone. Kristin Hannah also has a book Called The Four Winds which was also very good. I loved Book Lovers by Emily Henry, but so far that is the only book I have read by her. I love seeing book content from you!! I am a reader as well. I would love to recommend Where The Crawdad's Sing by Delia Owens if you haven't read it yet.
I went down the Abby Jimenez rabbit hole and have LOVED all of her books. They're romance as the core but deal with grief and mental health and friendships...and there is a dog in every book. So I highly recommend her books. Also pretty much anything by Janet Evanovich especially the Stephanie Plum series (there are something like 25 of them now).
Make sure you read Beach Read and People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry, too! Also, I just finished Powerless and really enjoyed it. Also also, the Finlay Donovan series has been a hit with everyone I’ve recommended it to!
Really looking forward to more recreating celeb photos, especially with the other collective girls involved! Will you be doing any maternity photos with Stephen and Grace, since you're already doing a photoshoot? The ones you did with Stephen while you were pregnant with Grace were beautiful
For a few years now, I've been wanting to get back into reading. I started with audiobooks here and there. But since I became a mom I don't know how to find the time for it. I listen to podcasts instead because I feel it needs less brain power and continuation 😅 But seeing you getting into books like this makes me want to try to do the same. I have a few books waiting for me to pick them up 🤩
The 7 Year Split is easily one of the best books I’ve ever read. I read it a couple months ago and I STILL think about it. I will recommend it to anybody who asks!!
Taylor Jenkins Reid is INCREDIBLE!!!! You need to read any and all her books! After seven husbands I recommend Daisy Jones and the six and Malibu Rising
I read this thing saying you can’t pick your father, but you can pick who is going to be your children’s father, so make sure you pick a good one. Watching Stephen dance with Grace really shows that you picked a great father for her and her future sibling/s
Literally made me tear up! He's so sweet!
Thank you! I’m also tracking all my books to hopefully do a full ranking at the end of the year 😊
And Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was amazing, I read it in 2 days because I just couldn’t put it down. Such a fantastic book! So great that you loved it too!
The last second snail update was GOLD
I was hunting for this comment! It made me laugh!
Stephen and the slipper, he had the perfect Disney response for Grace.
Love that Grace wanted Bella in her room 🥰
The 7 husbands of Evelyn Hugo is fantastic, I cried!
For time travel I’d recommend “This Time Tomorrow” and “The Midnight Library” :)
The invisible life of Addie LaRue would also be a good one!
Sierra, I love that you felt the need to educate on WW2 after reading a book that played in that time. I'd love to be your friend in real life 😊
Love hearing your reading journey!! I’m still 5 weeks away from book lovers, but I’ve read all of the rest of Emily Henry’s and happy place and people we meet on vacation were my favorite. Coming to the Schultzzie Collective this Wednesday! 😉
loved the book update & the cute clips of cinderella grace & prince stephen! please keep us posted on what you’re reading! i’m currently loving the seven year slip!
That Cinderella segment brought me to tears 😭 Stephen is dad goals! 🥰 🤴
The Cinderella playtime was absolutely priceless!!!❤❤❤
I’m on the 4th book in the ACOTAR series and I cannot recommend these books enough! I feel like you’d really enjoy them. So happy to see you pop up on my feed today. Enjoying all of this content and can’t wait for you to welcome your second baby girl!💜
A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my list too!
Love seeing the reading content!!! I’ve been a book girly forever. I read a lot of fantasy and dark romance. I’ve never read any historical fiction but maybe I’ll check it out you’ve convinced me a little.

Grace is just the sweetest!
And I love that she loves bell peppers.
11/22/63 was one of my favorite books!!! I love Stephen king, but I usually can’t finish a book cover to cover but 11/22/63 kept my attention! So good! Enjoy!
Definitely a favorite for me too!!!!
I'm not even a Stephen King fan but I looooved 11/22/63! it was SO GOOD
I finished it yesterday and OMG IT WAS AMAZING. totally agree it had a great way of holding my attention even though it was on the longer side. Love!
Grace is such a sweet, empathetic little genius. She has wonderful parents. Stephen was made to be a girl dad and you're just such a loving mom. Your kids are so lucky.
A few thoughts throughout the video:
-Stephen is so precious with Grace it makes my heart melt every time
-I am so excited for the recreating celebrities photos videos!!!

I'm currently reading Iron Flame! Absolutely loved Fourth Wing. I am also in the middle of A Court of Wings and Ruins
Yes loving the book content! Reading has been one of the constant loves in my life so it is always wonderful to see people getting back into it! Also I loved the Padme books! I have been on a Star Wars comic book kick recently, and my next read is Lost Stars by Claudia Grey, which is a star wars romance between childhood best friends who end up on opposite sides, im looking forward to it and think it would be something you would like too!
can you add Grace’s laughs and giggles at the end of the intro after the dog barks ?! IT WOULD BE SOOO CUTE
I’m so happy you’re recreating celebrity photos! Those were my favorite ❤️
Omg thank you for the tip about the broadway shows on TH-cam! My daughter is on a repetitive kick with a few Disney movies and Frozen is one of them. Any new frozen content to add to our rotation is just gold!
I think you will love the new book club book! It was one of my best reads from 2023!
11/22/63 is one of my favorite books of all time! Enjoy!!
Also, thanks for the book recs! The Seven Year Slip sounds fun 😊
The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is great! You can also consider getting library cards to multiple libraries local to you, that way you have a better chance of getting the books you want with a shorter wait time!

I’m totally here for the reading content!!! I’m currently reading Chain Gang All Stars. I’m trying to read more books by diverse authors this year.
THE NIGHTINGALE!! I read this book because you recommended it and just wow! So emotional 💕
The book thief is soooo good. I absolutely loved it. And I agree that romantic books are just fun and a good palate cleanse.
I enjoyed the 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo when I read it last year! Most recently I have enjoyed anything by Sally Hepworth, especially The Things We Keep and really enjoyed A Very Typical Family by Sierra Godfrey

I loved hearing about the books you’re reading! Added some to my list. Thank you!
Hi Sierra! I am a lover of historical fiction as well and highly recommend anything by Ruta Sepetys. Some of my favorites are Salt to the Sea or Between Shades of Gray. She is such a good historical author and her stories are so good and I couldn’t put it down.
Thank you for the recommendation! Just started Between Shades of Gray and can’t put it down
I’m not a huge reader but the 7 husbands of evelyn Hugo was AMAZING! You’re going to LOVE it!
Also I read every day so far this year, sometimes just a chapter or a few pages but it’s nice to have a habit
I genuinely forget you’re preggies lol time flies SO FAST! Baby girl #2 will be here in no time 😭💖
how did you forget she mentions it every 2 seconds!
@@sammieannie421 You do not have children...do you?
The way u guys talk to your daughter is so loving. How do u handle moments when ur frustrated and ur patience is low?
I’ve read 8 books so far this year. Some cozy mysteries, some more action packed. Currently reading last but not leashed, book 2 of a cozy mystery series

12:59 one series that I can recommend from Ashley Posten is the con series. It’s a Y, a series of fairytale retellings with a modern convention twist.
I’m so glad you are in your book girl era! I just read the burnout! I don’t remember the author, I’m so sorry! But it was a quick read and a great romance novel to me!

Currently reading The Desolations of Devils Acre. It is the 6th book in the Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children series. I've really loved the series! 😊
Yes more reading content! The seven husbands is sooooo good, you'll enjoy x
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is sooo good! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I’m loving your book girlie era! 📚
ooooh seven husbands is a good book. my grandma and i read it and we both liked it. i think you’ll enjoy it too
I adored 7 Husbands… I love old moviies/film stars and thought itt was just so good!
Bad blood is so good! I'm currently reading the third book in the Cresent City series - The House of Flame and Shadow.
would love love love to hear about the things you read!! the only ones I've read from the list you mentioned were 11/22/63 (wasnt really my speed) and evelyn hugo (enjoyed well enough), i think its so fun to know what other people are reading and enjoying :) right now im reading bellies & love and fury, im also next in line for sorrow and bliss on libby after waiting for almost 6 months!!!
As a reading girly, I love hearing about the books you've been reading! I love lil romance novels and I recommend Red White and Royal Blue!!! (Also Book Lovers is absolutely amazing)
I loved Nightingale! I just finished LightLark by Alex Aster and it was so good! I'm getting ready to start Nightbane, the second book in the series!
It is incredible and introduced me to part of history that I knew nothing about
Do you have a good reads? I’d love to follow you and keep up with your reads throughout the year!
i just started listening to book lovers on spotify, my sister raved about it. but if you’re looking for a good lovey book with layers you should read The Last Love Note, it’s a roller coaster of emotions but sooo gooood
Love the reading updates!! I read Bad Blood earlier in January and it was so interesting, I hope you enjoy it!!
the snail update!!! sobbing. ❣
Love the reading content! Just got a kindle myself, so looking for ideas for new books to read!
i love reading as well.
THANK YOU for updating us on the snail hunt. I was very excited to see that you found one.
Really looking forward to more recreating celeb photos, especially with the other collective girls involved! Will you be doing any maternity photos with Stephen and Grace, since you're already doing a photoshoot? The ones you did with Stephen while you were pregnant with Grace were beautiful
I love Stephen being the best girl dad. So cute!
For a few years now, I've been wanting to get back into reading.
I started with audiobooks here and there.
But since I became a mom I don't know how to find the time for it.
I listen to podcasts instead because I feel it needs less brain power and continuation 😅
But seeing you getting into books like this makes me want to try to do the same.
I have a few books waiting for me to pick them up 🤩
Grace is so funny, smart, creative, and kind, just like her mom!
Daisy Jones is definitely worth doing audio for! I’ve both read and listened to it and it’s one of the few books I prefer in audio format.
