aye, Max has destroyed everyone next to him, including their reputations. Took Albon and Gasly years to recover, Ricciardo has never been the same while Perez has become the target of ridicule having previously been very highly rated.
Just compare Sainz en Kvyat. Over 2016 and 2017 combined while both were teammates Kvyat scored a total of 8 points, Sainz scored 90 points. Kvyat has some of the worst stats compared to teammates in the history of the sport. Don't blame Red Bull for it, they kept giving Kvyat more and more chances even though he performed like absolute shit every single season. Gasly immediately outscored Kvyat in 2019 when Gasly was demoted back to Toro Rosso and Gasly outscored Kvyat again in 2020 with 75 to 32. What more needs to be said? You can't have 5 consecutive absolutely horrible seasons and still expect to have a seat in F1. Red Bull gave Kvyat plenty of chances, no other team was even remotely interested.
Correction, Ricciardo didn't win any races in 2015. Only Hamilton, Rosberg and Vettel won races that year. But Ricciardo scored two podiums to Kvyat's one even though Kvyat finished just ahead of him in the standings like you said.
One of the drivers I feel bad for, didn’t deserve to get treated like that, but the decision was deemed good when verstappen won when he pulled up. Wish kvyat had a proper chance with Ferrari and atleast drove for Sauber under Ferraris contract
And in all honesty I think he would’ve made a great number 2 to max at redbull in 2019+ if they would’ve taken him over Alex. It’d already been proven he’s got speed in a car with the characteristics of the redbull, and he’d matured alot as a racer (some of his moves in 2019 were the best that year). He definitely wouldn’t have been as fast as max but he would’ve been able to pick up the pieces had someone went wrong on max side and pick up regular podiums and good points scoring positions. I could see him still being there today, and I’d imagine he would’ve done a better job than checo has.
Considering he took out vettel twice in China and Russia 2016 I doubt Ferrari will would have gave him a seat😅, but he was a good third development driver
The 'Max took his job, girlfriend, child' comments are so damn annoying. Daniil left Kelly when their child was 6 months old. Max and Kelly started dating like a year after that. Stop making Daniil the poor, poor victim when he in fact left his family himself.
Well just because one driver didn’t have a great stint in F1 that doesn’t necessarily mean that they had a bad racing career. We’ve seen plenty of drivers who went on to find better success in other categories of motorsport. Take Antonio Giovinazzi for example, we know that he didn’t have to best career in F1, but in the WEC he went on to become a 24 Hours of LeMans winner! So yeah maybe it’s possible that Daniil could possibly bring his racing career back on top again without F1. 👍
If I remember correctly, in 2015, Max Verstappen was contracted directly to Red Bull Racing, NOT Toro Rosso like Sainz. This meant that Max was always going to end up at RBR anyway, ofcourse at the expense of one of its drivers. Kvyat making those mistakes was the perfect scenario for RBR to get the move done. Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong, because I can't find the exact story about it anymore.
I think you're almost right, he had a contract for 2017 at RB (not sure if it was official or unofficial), but ferrari were knocking on the door with negotiations so RB got the move done as fast as they could to secure him
@@best___0999 from what ive heard, he was actually signed to rbr and not toro rosso, but they had to put him there because mercedes had almost got him signed for f2. as such, rb had to use their one trump card - a straight f1 seat. i may be wrong tho
It's not even speculation, or a conspiracy theory, it's simply Occam's Razor. Verstappen said it himself in one of RB's TH-cam Videos where he and Perez read old Tweets, that it was exactly at that time when Verstappen started PR work with other teams, trying to get offers from them to increase pressure on RB to give him a contract with better conditions. Kvyat was simply "the guy that needs to go" to make space to lock-in Verstappen and prevent other teams getting their hands on him.
Nah that was just lucky. He was at the back for most of the race whilst Albon was driving top 6 in a wet track that everyone was struggling with. He had nothing to lose by coming to pit for softs early and get a jump which is what Stroll also did.
One of the secondary tasks of a driver in F1 or F2 is, to cultivate other, more powerful voices to speak up for you when others want you out of your seat. Because unless you are champion, someone will. Kvyat shouldve worked harder at that; it may have saved him a spot somewhere else on the F1 grid.

Kvyat just turned 30. He still could have time but the war banned him from European competition, he could do nascar in the us in 2022 and that was it (until he applied for an Italian license because he lived in Italy for his teenage and adult life) It wouldn't be too far out there, compared to Luca Badoer or Kubica's recovery to return for Williams. I'm surprised liberty didnt force RB to have a Kvyat/Verstappen driver pairing given how much cringey fodder that would have given the commentators for broadcasts
Actually, he performed in three or somewhat nascar road course races. He even drove from 38 to 26 place one time, but never finished due to technical failures.
Yeah the 2022 season for him was awkward. He signed on with an upstart nascar cup team (think Nascar's top division, ligue 1). The team was owned by a joint venture between a European Nascar driver's team, hezemans, and a journeyman Nascar driver from the states Joshua Reaume. They used Toyota as a manufacturer, except they couldn't afford the Gibbs-TRD engine, instead they used a Dutch engine company that built engines for touring cars. They weren't reliable. He did have enough sponsorship money to attempt a race in nascar's xfinity series (nascar d2) at the Indianapolis GP race for Sam Hunt in the 26 TRD toyota and finished p15. He stayed in Europe for 2023, but this march he signed a deal to race the COTA support race in xfinity for the #07 car after getting sponsored by a bicycle company. He was in the top 15-20 for a while (there's about 35-40 cars in a nascar field if people don't know), he got into a pile up but came home P21..
lot people say RB is unfair with their drivers, and to that id say they were justified with every decision but this case, Kvyat deserved to be on the team and especially grid, idk why they dropped him instead of Ricciardo
Probably was a marketing deal because russia wasn't a huge fan of energy drinks, combined with Danny ric having a jokester personality and Kvyat was noted for being a shy headcase
3:55 I'm of the opinion that the reason why his crash in Sochi happened, was because Helmut wasn't happy with him after China and had the proverbial word in his ear. In trying to avoid Seb in Russia he ended up colliding with him anyway He should never have been dropped. Psychologically he was never the same after that and it was this stance that would eventually lead to Perez getting the seat after burning through Gasly and Albon
I always had and still have mix feelings on daniil: On one hand he (and this is my passport talking) he robbed an f1 opportunity for Antonio Felix da Costa in 2014, just because Russia Lobbied his entry. On the other hand he was pretty impressive on a number of ocasions like his first gp, the 2015 hungary GP, the 2016 China GP, the 2019 Germany GP and the 2020 Imola GP. But then he was also terrible mid or even worse on a bad day. Like i remenber the 2020 portuguese GP when Gasly was pushing the field while Kvyatt was just in last... I wish him the best in Lamborguini
There is a wrong wording in the Albon part, Kvyat was stuck 'himself', he went crazier by the race to 'perform' better. Albon had a huge pressure on his shoulder to not only go against the then 'wunderkind' Verstappen, but the races he was at his very best he got pretty unlucky (twice by Hamilton, one where he couldve won the race).
Am I the only Sebastian Vettel's fan who's also feel so sorry for Daniil Kvyat? If I Sebastian Vettel, I probably will never regret to already called him as the torpedo, but on the other side I also will say that the karma that he received is too hard. If I Helmut Marko, this is my scenario: I will release Pierre Gasly to the Renault team in the 2017 season and beyond, retained both of Daniil Kvyat and Carlos Sainz Jr. until the end of the 2018 season, then release Carlos Sainz Jr. to the McLaren team in the 2019 season and beyond and replaced his position with either Alexander Albon or Brendon Hartley for the 2019 and 2020 seasons, then release Daniil Kvyat out of the Red Bull's sister team and retained Alexander Albon and partnering with Yuki Tsunoda for the 2021 season, then release Alexander Albon for the Williams Racing team in the 2022 season and beyond, and replaced his position with Oscar Piastri. 14/12/2023 01:37 At My Local Time.

He did mention in a podcast that he had the offer post 2015 to go to Ferrari to replace kimi, but decided instead to keep the faith and stay at redbull. I think that if there was a truly what if moment, it would have been that.
It’s crazy how turbulent his career was. Kvyat should’ve been what Carlos Sainz ended up becoming. I fully believe he was on his way to that level of consistency before RB jumped the gun and completely neutered him with that seat swap after one mistake. That level of betrayal completely wrecks your confidence and clearly destroyed him psychologically. He went from being someone who killed Carlos in the lower categories when they were teammates to the complete opposite in F1. They had 4 extremely strong drivers and traded them all in eventually for 1 inadvertently through that seat swap.
One rising talent dropped for another rising Shame he’s a deadbeat dad which isn’t good for his PR, and his mental state wasn’t good after Red Bull shockingly dropped him

I hope he has a brighter future in wec like the other drivers(example: Italian Jesus, Gigaroba, buemi, Hartley and kamui)
whats funnier about the max stealing p comments is that daniil is a very much present father 😂
Max is literally the villain of f1
And I like it that wY

If you order Kvyat from wish you get Mazepin

This will be most of the comments,, dude lost his seat and his girl to Max hahaha
I wish Daniil would get a seat in Indycar. There's only 4 ovals. The rest gp/street circuits...He'd be great.
Dude is so lucky he had a kid with Kelly piquet and doesn't need to take care of it, kid is just running around in maxi pads apartment distracting him from more important stuff Sim racing
I normally hate cutesy videos,, but it is so cute the way she demands his attention when he’s trying to Sim race,,
@@Jrh-rp7np dude has his priorities in the right place you don't be a 3 time world camp by being a parent
BTW Kelly must be a monster between the sheets girl got impregnated by an F1 driver and then upgraded to a 3 time Worlds Driver Champion with all her child and baby daddy baggage.. I mean Max could be plowing models from around the world for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.. and light snack in between and he still stays with Kelly..
He's lucky if he doesn't want her around, but if not it's a little sad tbh xd I guess he still has the responsibility of a dad ($$$), it's just that her daughter is raised by another guy
Not to mention Max is now with the mother of his child, ouch
So just look at his wiki page, repeat it in a video, don't care about mistakes and important things left out that viewers will remind you of, and profit.
Sad for him.
Ricciardo didn’t win a race in 2015.
I liked this "Video" more than your usual content, since it had some "investigative jurnaliZm" [copyright RPM], so goodjob m8!
Feedback:
I would have liked to see more written stats on the video (like point differance between him and his team mates,...)
For me the "video" part of this video is pretty much useless, and that is a loss.
He did mention in a podcast that he had the offer post 2015 to go to Ferrari to replace kimi, but decided instead to keep the faith and stay at redbull. I think that if there was a truly what if moment, it would have been that.
doubt
Max took his seat and later his girl.
Max is a savage he ruined Kvyats life
In the same topic, you can talk about Petrov's career. Three seasons, and the pilot is underrated in my opinion
Alonso still remembers what Petrov did to him till this day 🤣🤣.
Where is Wehrleins Video!? From almost partnering Lewis Hamilton to being dropped
Bro was a torpedo
Red Bull are famous with destroying promising drivers careers.
Need to remember the fact that added to all of this, max now pumps kvyat’s girlfriend and raises his child. That’s what I call bad luck
thats tough...
Kvyat cheated on her lmao I don't think he cares as much as people think
What is this thumbnail picture lmao
He didn’t deserve to be kicked out of F1
woooo first view!
When did Max break the kviat family though ???
he didnt, kyvat reportedly cheated on kelly when she was pregnant
@@chaahatgupta4730 lol.
@@glockutube good for maxie boy
It’s crazy how turbulent his career was. Kvyat should’ve been what Carlos Sainz ended up becoming. I fully believe he was on his way to that level of consistency before RB jumped the gun and completely neutered him with that seat swap after one mistake. That level of betrayal completely wrecks your confidence and clearly destroyed him psychologically. He went from being someone who killed Carlos in the lower categories when they were teammates to the complete opposite in F1. They had 4 extremely strong drivers and traded them all in eventually for 1 inadvertently through that seat swap.
well kvyat beat Ric in Red bull
For some reason he just loses his seats to rookies 😢
Hi
One rising talent dropped for another rising
Shame he’s a deadbeat dad which isn’t good for his PR, and his mental state wasn’t good after Red Bull shockingly dropped him
Max just seems to make every driver around him bad 🤔

Breitenberg Key
either way he would have lost his job in 2022
Kvyat is the most overlooked driver of the last decade, teaming him up with Verstappen would have been like throwing gasoline on a fire. He should get a seat in F1, if just for the excitement he bring with him. Imagine the "Torpedo" running a midfield car/
