    this video is very informative and straight forward. I am also in the same case as Angela, but I need to study a Diploma course in Instrumentation and control anywhe in Australie where the course is affordable and accommodation as well.
    Having watched the "video social work is not for everyone" why not Switch into international relations or anything that as to do with immigration and start your own immigration company ,because I Can garantee that you will excel in it , your vlogs are of a great help. Just take it as an advice from one your follower.

      If you are in Australia, you don't need special training to be a medical social worker. Your BSW or MSW is sufficient.

      Hi Alimat, you will have to study a course that 'bridges' the gap between your accounting background and Social Work. Eg a diploma /graduate certificate in a related field, before you enrol in the master of social work. Thanks.

      Hi, everything comes down to whether you meet the migration requirements. People may chose to go to regional areas because of the bonus 15 migration points, otherwise, you can get PR from anywhere in Australia as long as you meet the 65-point cut off.

    I studied a degree in social works and master's degree in the same in kenya...been working with an NGO community service for over 5yrs now...can I apply for Permanent residents directly or it's only for other Western nationality...an agent told me Africa we are categorized as high risks...

      In my experience, as long as you meet the migration requirements for social workers set out by the AASW, your nationality doesn't matter. I wouldn't know if things have changed recently based on your agent's advice.

      Of course she can. Check on the South Australia migration list first to see if community services is listed. As long as it is linked to the 190, 491 and the MLTSSL, it is fine.

    What if the program had been taken off the occupation list by the time Angela finished studies...what if the region is no longer having that occupation on their list also?

      That can happen, but it is the reason I also advise to check the number of states that have that occupation on their list as it is a strong indicator of how stable the occupation is.

      You still have 4 years. Consider the options linked to regional migration. Read up on the 491 or 494. Even the study pathway may be a possibility if you do it a regional area to boost your PR points

    UK has provision for HND holders to spend at least a year in Uni. to get Bachelorette (Hons)

    Hi, Do you have any idea why the number of jobs in invitation round on visa 491 is not as complete as in SOL which shows the availability of the same visa? for example as anesthetist

      and I do not understand for some occupation such as cardiologist is in SOL eligilble for 491 and 189, but in invitation round list only for 189 while 491 is written as not invited

      I may be wrong but my understanding is that no invitations were issued for that occupation in the reported month. Also, the list does not include some occupations that have a ceiling (usually, very competitive occupations). Just my understanding
