There is no lie here sis you have spoken facts o my! You are better off finding stability here before bringing kids in: the toll on you will be doubled if you have to put your kids through that stress as well. It’s always a sensitive topic telling someone to leave their kids behind and as a mother I can relate but remember it’s for their future and the greater good in the long term overall. ❤
Good points Sis, I hope people in these situations would think about these very well. I had to stay back in Nigeria with my son while my husband did his masters here in Australia for 3 years. I know it was not easy. But that was the best decision for us. After my son and I joined my husband. We both decided not to have another baby until we are both well settled. My husband has a good job now . Our son is in school and I have a permanent job. We can comfortably have another baby now..that 3 years apart changed a lot about us individually but thank God we were able to adjust. A lot of sacrifices and compromise comes with travelling abroad for people with families.pls think about it and both partners should agree ..
I hear you about the compromises! That's exactly what needs to be considered and carefully too. I am happy to hear that in the end it all worked out for you. Thanks for sharing your story here. Much appreciated.
Just an appreciation message, Thank you so much Chioma for your content, it has really helped me out with my relocation journey to Australia and yes within slightly less than one year, a family of 5 PR employer sponsored granted. Thank you a bunch ❤❤
Amazing content! cheers from Argentina, I'm starting to analyze alternatives to relocate with my partner and daughter and studying a Master seems like a good fit in out situation, the point you mentioned about the partner being able to work full time in such a setup looks really good
Welcome back Chioma, as always your videos are great, your advices and insights into these important matters about relocation to Australia are so much appreciated!
Where I come from if you give them this advice they will accuse you of selling fear and not wanting them to prosper yet others have done it. Really good advice.
I actually edited out a part where I talked about receiving the same accusations on this channel. I believe that anyone who gets triggered by information that is meant to help them plan better was never serious about their plans anyway. Thank you for watching.
Hello Chioma tnks for the info, what of those coming to Australia with work visa., It is advisable tocome alone and bring your spouse and children may be a year later.
Hi,this is enlightening ,i personally am not a student and would like to relocate with my baby after he turns one, please share the link for the other video on bringing dependants
How about moving to Australia on a skilled visa 482? we're family of five and husband is the main applicant and me as dependent has no restriction on work and studies. We're planning to apply separately after husband's visa approval. probably few months when he is settled.
Hello Chioma, thank you for your very informative and insightful videos and to think that they are free is highly commendable. I have been having the dream of migration to Australia and thank goodness I stumbled on channel and must admit I'm in the best channel. Please kindly help me to clear on this concern of mine. My plan is for my wife to go through the student visa route to eventually get the PR but our biggest challenge is how to handle our young children cos my wife has made it clear she can't travel with them alone from the beginning and I am not always available due to my work type and can't abandon my job to join her right now. Imagine to say this video struck a chord with my wife's thought. So I want to know if family members like mother or siblings can qualify as dependent to join on the student visa?
This was why I clocked out of Australia, I am coming as a student, I saw a school to study a course that I really wanted but the fact that I'll have to pay my kids fees and my partner won't be coming with me is an automatic abort Misson
Unfortunate as it is that you had to change your plans, I would say you saved yourself so much trouble by doing your research and acting on the right information. Thanks for watching.
And what happens if you go with the 482 Visa (or the one that replaces it in the future) and with a child in secondary school, is it the same recommendation? thank you!!
Hi sis, thanks for this good advice happy new year, please I have a question regarding Australia Working holiday visa , please is Nigeria eligible for this visa? Have been searching online but ain't getting correct answer, some said yes and No
Wise content as usual! Can I get a fee waiver on a training visa? I'm a GP looking forward to work in Australia, I'm sure you know the procedure until I secure the AMC Clinical exam I can't apply for the PR, so within the first year I will be in training, do you think I can benefit the fee waiver for my kid? Thank you Ma'am
I think you will find that information on the education department's website in the state/territory you are migrating to. I don't know much about the training visa myself.
Aussie - not going to watch the entire video but can totally support what you have said and why you have said it, and to be fair, please do make sure you let people know this is not just about tourists or people on visas. the supports provided to mothers and working mothers in Australia is diabolical. There is pressure from our government to have 'single mothers' return to work and study, they will (as aussie citizens) get more support re child care, BUT its not always quality. I have two daughters, one is married, and one is a single mother, both struggle with the costs of childcare and most of my married daughters wage goes to childcare, but she wants to retain her skills for once her second child starts school. edited to say - as a person that has raised children and also studied bheaviour and psychology of children. the reality is.. that relocating children anywhere destabilises them, especially if you take them away from ALL their security, schools, family and environments. it can be traumatising.
@@faioi6076yup, only PR and Citizens have access to free public education. You also will not have Medicare cover unfortunately. On the brighter side, it’s a better visa option than the Student Visa as you wouldn’t be compelled to study and paying ridiculously high international student fees for yourself.

I believe this advice is for all on student's visas regardless of the country. Thanks for being real with us.
Thats what i was going to ask.

Yes they are covered by medicare and will not pay fees in public school.

Roughly how much should someone set aside to move to Oz using the study route. Assuming it’s a 2 year Masters programme?
