Many people have switched courses here 😢 Time wasted, Money wasted and age limit running out. Think well before choosing any course. Thanks for sharing sis.
The course she mentioned doesn’t mean they don’t have a pathway but just that no CLEAR PATHWAY. Meaning availability is based on requirements and states. Meanwhile above all just follow your dream course and don’t derail to a course you don’t have a foundation on. You might end up putting your self in a tighter corner. Those terms and conditions changes most times even before you know it.
Hello Friends! Please understand that this video is HEAVILY based on my observations and interactions with other people who have studied some of these courses, as well as some personal research. I do not have a list of all the courses to avoid or have full knowledge of the prospects of every course in Australia for international students. As I always encourage, please do your own research. Thanks for watching.
Hi Chioma,Is it possible for my wife to come along with me on my study visa as a dependent and later on enroll for her masters studies too?Or she must just posses one of her one
I find this video interesting and unique. Most people are not aware of pathways to P.R in certain countries as a result they end up struggling when they arrive.
Thank you so much for this. I was thinking of studying Environment, but also went through the kind of professions they've listed, Air quality analyst etc. Seems very technical and scientific. I'm an environmental activist and journalist with a business background. I think I will choose to study social work now.
I doubt any Nigerian would decline an offer whether or not it's favourable in the long term. They just want to 'JAPA' Lol (understandably). Thanks for sharing this Chioma, I know a few people who are stuck and desperately trying to find a way out because of the courses they came in to study in Australia. The effect of making informed decisions can never be over emphasised!
Hi Chioma, apprenticeships aren’t open for international students, but if you are studying a trade you can have a clear pathway to PR by going through the Job Ready Program, and earning your skill assessment.
Your videos are very informative. I love the way you speak to be very honest. Just last week, I got nominated by South Australia as a health promotion officer for the 491 visa. This is after deciding to migrate to Australia about 3years ago,but COVID had other plans😭. I came to Australia on a student visa just last month…chai! Looking forward to switching.
People just have to do thorough research regarding the courses they want to study and what sort of accreditation the course has once complete. I studied Construction Management and used this as a pathway to PR. Because my degree was accredited by an Australian quantity surveying body I used this for my pathway.
Thanks for all the information you provide. I don't know if you can address the topic of age and Australian education. Most agents here in Nigeria act like you're a criminal if you're above 40 and intend to apply to study in Australia. One told me the school he represents has an age limit of 37yrs for masters degrees and that I should try the UK. Can you please shed more light on the issue? Merry Christmas to you and yours and a wonderful new year.
Apologies for the late reply. That is so misleading. You may not qualify for the 485 (graduate visa) if you are 45 by the time you finish your studies, but the student visa itself has no age restriction and 37, even 40 is not too old to study. At 40 years, you still have up to 4 years before the cut off point.
Chioma your nails are lovely, I love them😍. Thank you for sharing. I agree 100% to the courses mentioned and Edu agencies pushing those courses to potential international students. Students coming to Australia via a student visa must be very strategic. Choose your courses wisely to aviod becoming frustrated after studies. 200% agree to Public health , it is a waste of funds.
